I would rate zero if I could! What a freaking rip off! 2 books of checks for $34? I thought I was getting a box of checks, like I had in the past. I called support thinking there was a mistake. “That’s the cost of living.” The rude woman said. No, that’s the cost of a rich CEO. Overly expensive product and ridiculously rude support. Way to go. Never go through my bank again!

I ordered 4 check books through my bank account online from Harland Clarke. But I only received 2 check books (60 psc), they charge $35 dollars. It’s so expensive, so 1 small page is 50cent.they are rip off . I rather never order from them a gain.

Absolutely horrible service. I needed to replace a deposit stamp that they had originally manufactured. I ordered it, paid for it, and waited for it to arrive, which it never did. They had originally cited 7-10 business days, but after three weeks, I contacted them. They said they had sent it a few weeks earlier. The woman I spoke to was rude, defensive,and argumentative, but agreed to send another stamp via 2-day express. A week later I followed up only to find she had never placed the order. I'm now waiting for the 3rd order to arrive. They never send communication to the customer such as order confirmation or tracking info so it makes it difficult to track the status of an order.

I will never order from this company again. How hard is it to read the address that someone puts in? It's not like it is handwritten and can be mistaken. My checks had the wrong address on them because an incompetent, illiterate person did my checks. There is actually an address here at that wrong address. If you are that bad at your job, then I will go elsewhere. Thanks for nothing.

Incredibly expensive, they want $57 just for a check book cover. $57!!! I found a beautiful leather cover on Amazon for $7. They charge outrageous shipping prices, if you don't order the pricey "tracking" option, they drag their feet and take a month to get them to you. I sell on EBay and get USPS tracking info with my $3.00 shipping label, why do I need to spend $15-30 to track a shipment with them? Recently they went from 3 books of checks (120) to two (80) for the same cost. Have used them for nearly forty years, but now I am done with them.

The checks were shipped to my former address but were printed with my current address. I ordered checks over two weeks ago and still don't have them. I spoke to two different representatives on two separate occasions. Incredibly rude. If I spoke to my customers in the same manner, I would no longer have a job.

Spoke to these people on June 10th, very rude employee who placed my order. Didn't receive anything or communication from them. Finally got through to a person on 06/28 - Gina who told me they canceled the order - no communication, nothing no attempt to make things right. I had been waiting on this check for a while now. Very rude employees and poor customer service

I have always order personal bank checks (reordering) through Harland Clarke, that's after the initial bank checks needed reordering.
I do not use many checks, matter of fact, last checks I ordered were in 2022.
MUCH TO MY SURPRISE, Harland Clarke hit me with outrageous shipping charges...NEVER AGAIN!
80 CHECKS and 2 check registers for 122.00.

I simply called my bank branch to order a re-supply of checks. I received them from Harland Clarke. When I noticed that my account was charged $36.00. That was $0.60 PER CHECK! I was astounded, to say the least. I ended up calling the bank’s executive office and complained to the bank VP. He allowed me to vent and let me know that I wasn’t the first to complain. He then served me a big cup of shut the eff up by crediting the $36.00 to back to my account! LOL Harland Clarke is not a serious company. This was the most ridiculous transaction I have ever been involved in! I tried to call Harland Clarke but, never reached a human. Good job HARLAND CLARKE!

Don't order from Harland Clarke unless you want to wait a long time for your order and pay too much. I ordered some check registers on May 22. They took my money on May 29 from my checking account. It is June 8, and I am still waiting for my order. Amazon is cheaper with two-day delivery. Personally, I will never order anything from these people again. They don't care as they have a lot of banks in their pocket.

I ordered business checks with an estimated delivery date of May 27. As of May 29, I still haven’t received them — no updates, no emails, no calls, nothing. When I called for support, no one could explain the delay. I spoke to a manager named Warren who flat-out said there was nothing he could do. I was even told to contact my bank, which makes no sense — the issue is with this company, not the bank.

This delay directly impacted my ability to pay employees, which is unacceptable. The complete lack of communication and professionalism is beyond frustrating.

I've ordered through Harland Clark for my business for over 11 years and haven't had any issues. Either they sold to someone else, or they've fired all of their staff and outsourced. Either way, you cannot reach a human being. Over 40 minutes on hold (as I write this) the second time I called, as I chose the option to receive a call back the first time and didn't receive one (that was a week ago). It's sad to go from wonderful customer service to whatever this company has become.

My order of checks had the word town misspelled on the checks as toqn rather then town. On the envelope they used to mail the checks to me the word town was spelled correctly. When I tried calling them to correct it on the checks their automated phone system appears designed to make it very difficult to talk to a person. Then I was on hold for about 20 minutes and finally was told they could not fix it. I was told I had to have my bank contact them to fix it but the bank told me that would mean I was placing an additional order of checks.

#1 Harland Clarke put my credit card number on checks in place of address 1st line.
#2 The order delivery took a long time, much longer than Checks Unlimited.
#3 I had ordered 3 batches, attempted resolution resulted in only one batch corrected.
#4 Very hard to communicate with or follow order.

60 checks for $50. Ridiculous. And the checks arrived with a mistake in the phone number. Called customer service and was unable to talk to a warm body because there were no options other than recorded messages. Called my bank and let them know since they were the ones who ordered the checks and they said they were aware of this business not answering the phone.

I've ordered checks from this company for over 40 years with no problems.
160 checks were like $11 for years.
For the last twenty years, it's been $20 --$22 for 160 checks -

UNTIL the last 3 years.
Checks were still $22 - but for only 120 checks.

Tracked shipping was always optional.

THEN - suddenly, 'tracked shipping' was automatically added.

THEN it changed to only 120 checks for $30!

NOW - it's 31.82 for only 80 checks?!!

No explanation - you can't get a human being.
The automated order line just tells you this is the number of checks you'll get & this is the price & apparently 10 bux of that is a bogus tracking fee.

So I'm done with this & will be ordering checks elsewhere.

But apparently friends - this is exactly what they're hoping.
They WANT to go out of business!

I don't know why they don't have the testicular fortitude to just do so, rather than sit back & see who'll keep hangin' on.
But HC is not the only check provider - so, . . . adios.

Sat on hold for over 1-1/2 hours, but my call was important to them! Haha. Then they were supposed to call me back and that never happened. I placed an order online I change the address since we had moved. I tried over and over again to cancel the order that was incorrect with no response. Sounds like you have 5 people working for you. YOU NEED TO IMPROVE YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I receive close to 300 parcels annually between work and personal. You know how many don't provide a free tracking number? 1! Harland Clarke!! And for personal checks, no less!

Ordered online through bank and were sent to old address even though order form was updated with new address. Copied order form for proof. Would not refund the $ 47. Found out they are more expensive then other venders online.

Excessive price increase. I ordered less checks (120 checks instead of my usual 200). Price went from $24.00 to $60.00, not including shipping. Should be illegal.
