Considering 38 reviews, reviewers overwhelmingly had a great experience with this company. Customers consistently praise the staff for their professionalism, warmth, and friendly demeanor, making them feel comfortable and at ease from the moment they arrive. Many highlight the exceptional care and treatment received, noting that the team genuinely cares about their results and provides knowledgeable, honest advice tailored to individual needs. The overall service is frequently described as first-class, with people appreciating the clear explanations, comfortable procedures, and excellent aftercare. However, some reviewers were not happy with the lack of professionalism and attention to detail from staff, with one person feeling that the company only wanted their money after a procedure. Others mentioned dissatisfaction with treatment outcomes, specifically regarding fillers and Botox, which left them looking older and feeling that the issue was not addressed.

I paid to experience racism and micro aggressions, not to improve my skin

I went to this clinic in desperate need of help with my skin. I have had problematic skin for about 7-8 years and nothing had worked for me. I told Leslie about my history and she assured me that the VI derm products will work for me. She let me know that she has had tons of Nigerian clients, and seeing as I am also Nigerian I though it might be safe to try seeing as I’m not the first black person that has attended this clinic.

We saw VERY slow progress, but I was encouraged to stick with the progress as Leslie has said it always works and she has NEVER seen it not work for anyone. Within 6 months I learned that I wasted a ton of money with a heartless, defensive racist.

I initially appreciated the support as Leslie booked in regular check ins with me to assure me that my skin condition would improve, but overtime this changed. She adopted to take a more accusatory approach to take the blame of some of the side affects I experienced off her and onto me. She often blamed my slow progress on my heritage. Yes - the thing she used to make me feel safe in her care was used as a weapon against me. She ALWAYS told me that Nigerian skin was problematic. She said the biggest issue for us Nigerians was our diet, and asked me if my diet heavily Nigerian, to which I responded “No”, so by her logic this doesn’t explain my skin issues.

At our last check in I went in as normal ready to let her know things I have observed because that’s what check ins are for right? Well no, not for Leslie anyway. After expressing my observations she responded “Well I don’t know what to tell you. Maybe the products aren’t for you”.

We then had a catch up in her office which ended up being a stand-off. I expressed how I felt about how the treatment was going from my perspective. She told me that she didn’t have to see me as often as she did, and that she was doing me a favour. Let me be clear, she did me NO favours. I was a client that she initially wanted to help after she heard my story, but what’s ironic is the fact that she threw my story back in my face. In response to me saying that I don’t feel like the products are working well for me she said “well I did read your file again and you did say that nothing ever works for you”. That’s the moment that I realised this lady doesn’t care or respect me at all! Everything started to click. When I continued talking to her, expressing thoughts and feelings from my mind from across the table (which had to be around 1-1.5 metres deep) she told me that I was being AGGRESSIVE. Now, at this point a laughed because I saw right through her. I asked her to explain why she feels I’m being aggressive and she imitated me being a bit more expressing with my face and eyes, and talking with my hands and shoulders. I then asked her again to be clear if she thinks I’m aggressive because I’m talking with my hands? Because it sounds ridiculous to which she responded “yes, that’s how I feel”. She expressed that she feels like I’m blaming her for things not working, and I tried to explain to her that I’m not blaming anyone, I’m just being open about my observation. What’s the point of having a catch up if you can’t say how you’re feeling/what you’re observing? This was our last conversation.

The micro aggressions were clear, and that paired with the fact that the products hardly worked for me severed the relationship I had with Harley street skin clinic. Looking back at old pictures I noticed that the products made me look like I was bleaching! Leslie also failed to let me know that you should hydroquinone 4% consistently for longer that 6 months (which I almost did) as it can cause ochronosis. I’m not sure what qualifications she has, so make sure you double check this before taking her advice.

Finally, I’d like to say that if you’re having the same issues as me (acne and hyperpigmentation) you should focus on your diet, digestive system (how often you empty your bowel as this would be daily) and also get a green peel! I’ve had 1 so far and my skin is transforming amazingly. I also don’t look bleached out because it’s all normal.

Really unhappy....

I had booked with Harley, then needed to cancel due to work commitments. Over a month later, I received a text message asking me to confirm my appointment the following day, when I attempted to use the link to cancel (although I had already done this) a message advised that I was too late to cancel. The 'appointment' was originally for 1.15pm the following day, the message had been sent at 1.10pm, as I was actually at a conference at this time-the reason for cancelling the appointment originally, I didn't see the message. I attempted to call-no answer, emailed, no response. I'm now waiting for Harley to charge me a 50% cancellation fee as I didn't cancel within 24 hours, difficult to do when the reminder doesn't actually give enough time to do so and you don't expect it because you've already cancelled the appointment.... minor detail, I suppose. In the event that I am charged, I will challenge all the way....

Unprofessional - DO NOT GO!

I had co2 fractional laser therapy at the London branch of Harley street skin clinic when I was a teenager. I have icepick, boxcar and rolling scars. I had my initial consultation with Lesley, which with hindsight was completely ridiculous considering she's not medically trained. I was recommended co2 fractional laser therapy and told my scars would dramatically improve.

The treatments were excruciatingly painful, and after several treatments I saw no results, but was continually reassured I would see them. Eventually, when I realised I was being sold a pipe-dream I stopped returning. I felt so let down that I've never contacted Harley Street regarding this, and they've never questioned why I did not return for further treatments.

Issues I had with my treatment include:
1. The treatment was completely inappropriate for my type of acne scars (predominantly ice-pick), as I was told by a consultant dermatologist at a different practice many years later. Punch excision treatments should have been recommended.

2. After each treatment I had no follow-up at all, which is not the norm in private practice.

3. I had severe facial cellulitis post-treatment. According to NICE I should have been admitted to hospital for IV antibiotics. Instead, I was advised to travel to London for a face-to-face appointment and prescribed oral antibiotics.

4. I signed the consent form for the first treatment, surrounded by staff, in a room, after the emla cream had been applied, without a guardian present. This is poor practice.

I had worked since the age of 13 (starting on £3 an hour sweeping floors at my local salon). I used all of my savings on these treatments, which were clearly not medically indicated for my type of acne scars. I'm now in medical school and with retrospect cannot believe how unprofessional and heartless these people are.

They are an unprofessional company

They are an awful company! Do not use! They took a deposit from me of £1500 in June for a treatment which their own Dr told me not to proceed with in early July. I requested the refund on 15th July and its now 1st September and they still have not refunded it, making all sorts of excuses. If you have money to waste, lock in with them, then go ahead otherwise please be aware!

I paid £10,000 in January 2019 for 3…

I paid £10,000 in January 2019 for 3 different surgeries and got zero results on all of them.
I fully understand results aren’t guaranteed but as the surgery wasn’t done properly in the first place it was obvious I wasn’t going to get any results. Day off surgery I arrived at what was like an office block. Went into a poorly decorated old office room with no blinds on the windows and told to change into my surgery gown, this was the moment I started to feel uneasy. It was dirty and unhygienic. I was taken to a room with a operating bed that Dr Khan couldn’t even work, it seemed to be broken and just making me go lower and lower to the floor. It was all seeming so unprofessional and nothing how it had been at his plush Harley street clinic. I had paid extra for PRP, I believe that was the name of it. But there was no machine in sight. The anaesthetist was lovely. I’d been given twilight sedation, the pain was horrific. I was screaming/crying in pain yet as he waited for the anaesthetist to come back in he carried on pushing this huge needle into my side. The pain was unbearable and I was going in and out of consciousness. Even at the end of the procedure when I had to get up I’d noticed I’d started bleeding down ‘below’ this must of been shock or something.
As I’d had fat transfer and liposuction I’d expected to see a change! My body looked no different and I had no extra fat in my areas I’d had it transferred too. This concerned me as, I was aware you can lose 50% of the fat yet I looked no different. I was assured I’d begin to see results over a period of time.
I sent an email afterwards to state my stomach, flanks, back was all still exactly the same. Certainly couldn’t see I’d had liposuction and there was zero fat in the areas I’d had it transferred too. I was asked to come in so Dr Khan could review it. He agreed nothing had worked and had offered to redo it all for free. I’d booked a new operation date but due to the fear of what happened last time and the pain is cancelled it. Since then I’ve tried to make complaints and it’s become quite clear Dr Khan has a complete disregard for patients and is very money oriented.
I have since learnt of hundreds of patients that have had horrific results with Dr Khan, so I feel quite lucky there was zero results compared to the results I’ve seen of other ladies disfigured faces etc. I would fully avoid this place at all costs.
Thankfully in my case I went on to have the same procedure at a different clinic and had amazing results. As soon as I work up I could see where I’d had lipo and see where I’d had the fat transferred too. Dr Khan is currently being investigated (once again) by the CQC. He shouldn’t be allowed to practice.

UNRELIABLE / DON’T CARE

I had a Whatsapp video consultation with this business initially and was told I needed a face to face consultation. I live in the North West and their clinic is in London.

I travelled 230 miles the day before the appointment and paid for a hotel to ensure I could meet the appointment time, only to be called at the last minute to be told they couldn’t see me. This was a huge inconvenience to me not to mention the wasted hotel and travel costs.

Please be aware of this if you don’t live locally.

Extremely, extremely disappointed.

I used Harley Street back in 2018 as I…

I used Harley Street back in 2018 as I have suffered with acne for a long time. That time I went was fine, good experience, met with Dr Khan and Lesley Reynolds, they put me on the clean tech renewal skin care products and was told I needed to have a blood test for pcos and have a hydra facial which I did. Facial treatment went ok. But, fast forward to now, I have applied to become a member to receive skincare products as (they do help with my skin) and other benefits for £69 a month. The only issue I am having though is the direct debit was set up in early December and the money was taken. I have not received a membership card in the post like they say you will in the membership FAQs and they have not responded to the 4 emails, 2 tweets, 1 DM I left on twitter and the comment i left under their post today on Instagram about the situation. I’m going to ring them tomorrow and if they don’t respond to my phone call or respond to my emails I will be cancelling the direct debit because I feel like I’ve been ripped off and scammed. All I want to know is that has my membership card been sent out and if not, why? And also has any skincare products been sent out and if not, why? Absolutely appalling experience so far this year and I will definitely not buy anything from them again if this is not resolved. £69 may not be a lot to them but it is to me. I’m not having my hard earned money go to their business if they can’t be bothered to respond to my emails or send out anything. This is not on.

It’s about Sales And Your Money

I suffered with terrible acne which also caused severe scarring all over my face, back and chest. I met Mr Khan and wife Lesley Reynolds in Birmingham and poured my heart out to them explaining how acne really affected my self esteem and confidence and had done so for many years. They both reassured me that the treatments they offer would 100% stop my acne and that laser treatment would erase the scarring. I was hooked fully and believed every word they fed me (after all they are the professionals) and skin is their subject area of knowledge. I could not afford the fee which was over £2’000 (something like £2’300) so my parents used their hard earned savings so I could have this one off lifetime opportunity treatment. I went to London and had the laser done and was told I would no longer have to worry as my skin would renew Itself and no more acne will occur as the laser penetrates deep down to the oil glands. Two weeks After this treatment my skin broke out in the worst breakout I had experienced so I contacted Mr. Khan and was told it was normal but give it time to settle and that the laser effect was still doing its job. Weeks turned to months and my skin was full of acne. I tried to speak with Mr Khan or his wife but was told I would need to continue their treatment at another fee over £2’000, this of course was not stated before treatment or during consultation. It then became evident that whenever I called the clinic and the receptionist would say they were not available because I refused to part any more cash for their treatments. My Father was a quiet decent man, he has since passed away but I know if he had the resources he would have filed a suit against these two individuals for potentially fraudulent practice as they promise the world but really just want your money. I further notice they rely on celebrities for their income but they forget to realise hard working folk like my Father parted from his savings and for absolutely nothing. This is my experience and One I Truly regret. Two years after having Mr Khan and Lesley Reynolds treatment I sought proper treatment from a dermatology who immediately saw the state of my skin Stating it as severe acne and placed me on a course of tablets on the NHS. After just 1 month on these tablets my skin on face, back and chest cleared and scarring completely gone. Mr Khan and Lesley Reynolds may sound eloquent and well educated but they are just sales persons in my opinion with no honour or integrity so please be aware and don’t make the mistake I did believing in their treatments.
