As others have said pretty much a scam..When I purchases the shed in Feb and used Klarna the payment was to a French bodyshop car bodyshop. Took this long to get my money back from Klarna.

Scam site phone number and address are bougus like this company they also trade and invoice under the NAME MATAR

Scam company, takes your money, doesn’t deliver the goods. Fake mobile number and email address, UK office is a residential house in Bristol. These scammers once they have your bank details set up a reoccurring payment so if you pay them say £70, that becomes a reoccurring payment unless you report to your bank and stop it. Fortunately my bank sorted my situation very quickly. What I don’t understand Google still recommend them.

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING!! I was totally scammed. Bought an outdoor storage shed but nothing ever arrived. I can't get in touch with anyone as the phone number and emails are not functional. I have reported this as a fraud to my bank. The damn website needs taking down.

Ordered a garden storage container £69.00, used Klarna as I have already been scammed ordering stuff on what I thought was a Dunelm Clearance website. Order was supposed to be shipped within 2 to 5 business days. Tried emailing, phoning (no such phone number). Contacted Klarna and they have raised a dispute on my behalf, hopefully will get a refund.

I am leaving this review to warn other potential customers about my experience with Hartool (hartool‑2.myshopify.com).

I ordered a garden shed from Hartool on the 22nd of March 2026, at a cost of £150 including express delivery. Despite this, the item has not been delivered.

I have sent multiple emails requesting an update, but I have received no response at all from the company.

There has been no communication, no tracking information, and no indication that the order has been dispatched.

Based on my experience, I would strongly advise other potential customers to exercise caution when considering a purchase from this retailer.

The contact details provided including phone numbers, email addresses, and the listed UK address have either been unresponsive or impossible to verify as belonging to a legitimate trading business.

Since encountering these issues, I have found multiple similar reports from other customers, many describing non‑delivery, unanswered emails, and difficulties obtaining refunds.

These consistent patterns raise serious concerns about the reliability of this retailer.

Based on my experience and the volume of similar complaints, I strongly advise avoiding purchases from Hartool.

If you have already placed an order, I recommend contacting your bank or card provider promptly to discuss refund or chargeback options.

I am sharing this review in good faith to help protect other consumers from potential financial loss.

ßSame as below reports - This is a scam. I have ordered a garden shed and it has not arrived. I tried to call and email HARTOOL however the telephone number and email address do not exist.

Wish I had read this before placing an order.

The company is still being allowed to trade on shopify and appears in Google searches

This is definitely a scam as I have placed an order paid £69.00 for the plastic garden box , Though I have received the e mail confirmation , but the contact number and e mail are fake . I have raised complaint to my bank I will be reporting further to action against this kind of scams in UK
Never get trapped by seeing cheap price on their web site .

Trying to get refund through credit card company still on Google search

Wish I could give a 0 star review. Ordered a shed 24th March. Hasn't been shipped. Phone number not valid and email addressed not a registered domain. AVOID

I wanted to contact them regarding the forthcoming delivery only to find that there's no responcepse to emails, commensurate to other reports regarding the company, I'd be normally expecting the delivery in the
Following week but having read other reports from customers I'd be concerned at the sheds likeleyhood of arriving, There's advise of scam companies operating.

SCAM. You order and they never send! Luckily I was able to get a refund through my bank. Wish I’d checked the reviews before ordering. Reported to Myshopify but it’s still trading weeks later.

I’m so annoyed with myself that I’ve been scammed by this so called company!
Ordered a storage unit, delivery was advised, course it never arrived. I requested my order to be cancelled and asked for a refund, which funnily enough, they acknowledged with I’ll receive my refund within 5 working days, havent received it, surprise surprise 😡
Why are Google & Shopify allowing this company to advertise with them??

Scam company!! If I could give it MINUS 5 stars I would. Although after purchase there were immediate confirmation emails, there was no follow up or delivery and emails to the address on the website bounced back and the contact phone number was not recognised. The address given is in Bristol, U.K. but the payment was taken in France and I was charged a currency exchange fee (not with my permission).
Thankfully I paid by Mastercard so I gave them the purchase documentation and they refunded the £150 I’d been scammed out of.
The website and reviews look legit so hopefully someone will take these down soon!!
