Ordered a new cooker which was to be installed on the 14th of February. Guys came took out my old one, thankfully unboxed it outside as I’m on a ground floor apartment and not much space and as they were about to bring it in saw that was damaged. A brand new cooker, dents in lots of places and a crack in the corner of the stove glass.

Still waiting on a new one to be delivered. Harvey Norman in Tallaght only have the damaged one in stock so they are waiting for another store to deliver one to them then they’ll arrange delivery and installation. The guy I dealt with HN Tallaght was lovely and very apologetic and said they’d do their best to get to me asap. It’s the 19th of February and no news so far. If it’s not installed by Tuesday of next week I may cancel my order and look for my money back

Bought a bed from Harvey Norman arrived on the day of delivery I was given was kept up to date by text with approximate time delivery would arrive then updated when time had to be adjusted very nice friendly delivery men very efficient service happy with my bed

I went to Harvey Norman to have a look at some mattresses as my old one needed to be replaced. I had no idea of what type I wanted or what was the difference in them. When I first walked in I started just pressing down with my hand to see how soft or firm it was. That’s when Shirley came over & asked if we needed help. She explained the options & actually showed us the difference with each mattress. She got a pillow out & got me to lay down on the mattress & lie down the way I would when I sleep to really feel what they are all like. She wasn’t to over the top like some sales people & gave me time to just look & try without any pressure to buy but yet when I had questions she was close by which gave me the privacy to discuss my options with my husband. She really went above & beyond for me especially when I was looking for some guidance. She really knew what she was talking about & she was very relatable. I would highly recommend Shirley to anyone wanting to purchase a bed/mattress.

I bought sofa from Tallaght store and paid for delivery & installation. The delivery guys came and put while my floor guys were putting the flooring in middle of mess!! And signed on docket when I wasn’t there. Later I went to store and talked with David, he told me that if I want to installation I have to pay again 80€more. Today I opened my sofa and did myself installation, find it out missing electric parts and legs!!!

The instore team were fantastic, helped me with all the options and made sure I knew everything about the different sofa options and styles etc.

The ordering process was quick and easy. The requirement for 20% deposit is very useful especially with the lead time for customised sofas. It means that its not a huge outlay for the buyer and gives time to ensure funds there when the sofa is ready.

My sofa arrived to the store exactly to the day of the lead time that was given to me and I received a call to note this. I paid off the remainder and the delivery/install was scheduled for the next working day.

The delivery team gave me a precise window for delivery by phone on the morning of the delivery. They arrived exactly on time. They were fast and efficient and hugely respectful of the house and furnishing making sure that everything was done to ensure no damage to walls, doors flooring etc. There is always a chance of some scuffs etc when getting large pieces delivered but you wouldn't have known that they were ever there apart from the lovely new sofa.

Thanks to all in Harvey Norman Tallaght Furniture team for the great experience. I wish the lead times were shorter. 22 weeks is a long time to wait, but this is info is made clear to the customer from the outset.

Worst delivery experience ever, I had a freezer delivered from Harvey Norman, the person delivering it; wants my son to pick up the freezer from the van, stating he cant park/ leave the van, I told him no,,i wont allow my son,the freezer should be delivered into our apartment ( we are in the 2nd floor apartment but we have a lift) He colleague ended up bringing the freezer on a trolley into our apartment.

The delivery was prompt and proper. It was easy to order online.

Item ordered and collected with no problems

Took 2 weeks 2 finally get the dishwasher fitted, now I’m left with the old dishwasher because they said they’d no room to take it, even though this was all arranged. Now I’m left with a dishwasher in my front Garden! Delivery and installation has been a disaster from start to finish. And it’s still
Not finished!

I haven’t received my order. Was due Friday 30th Jan , got a call to cancel after taking the day off work, she suggested I facilitate the delivery on tues, meaning I would need to take another day of annual leave. After much discussion, the girl eventually agreed to arrange delivery sat. The man called, arranged time, around 2pm he called to ask was I getting an integrated appliance I confirmed he told me the one I was sold wouldn’t fit and he wouldn’t be able to put the door back on until I went to b&b to get wood filler etc. I told him I originally ordered the same model in November and it would be 6 weeks. I got a call in Jan to say it could be another 6 weeks and recommended changing to this other brand even though I had previously said I had a whirlpool. I was told th manager would call me in an hour to re arrange ordering my original order and get it quickly. That was Saturday it is now Tuesday night and I haven’t heard anything. But I did receive a text with this link asking me how my delivery was… so no it wasn’t good because I haven’t actually received what I ordered. I’m

Im actually still in shock what happened here on Thursday. I went up to buy a dehumidifier as I had a leak in the house. The girl all the floor came over very nice, I asked her advice on different ones and I decided to go with a slightly dearer one then what I had planned. She brought me to the counter. I asked the girl could I pay with cash and rest with card. I handed her 250euro the item was 300euro she said I owed her 100. I said I gave you 250. Counted again and said oh yes sorry. Thats fine we all make mistakes no issues. So I tapped my phone for the balance on Revolut. It came straight out of my account. Notification that it had been paid. She then went on to say oh it didnt come through at our end its up in the air somewhere. Can I put it through again. I was like but if I put it through again Im down 50euro and I need that money for this evening. Yes she says but the other 50 will bounce back and if it doesn't you can come back up and we will issue you a refund.so what you want me to give you another 50euro on the chance it will go back and travel all the way up again? I said no im not happy about this.This has never ever happened to me before with Revolut.She said Il get a manager. So at this stage and q was building staff standing around me. I was absolutely mortified the girl came back with a supervisor who said sorry and explained it was a problem at their end and a guy would sort it in his accounts in the morning. The security was standing at side of till as well. Its my first time shopping up here and my last. After a tough day I did not need this embarrassment. Not everyone has a spare 50euro after spending 300euro already. Better system needs to be in place.

Purchase and delivery

Well l purchased my goods in November 2025 and was clearly informed that delivery will be mid January 2026 because of the then back-log.l received my goods on the promised dates,also pleased with the delivery service, very professional.

Really terrible to be completely honest; we waited 10 days with no update on the order or when it will be delivered so I called the shop to be told they made a mistake and they will send one out that day, three days later no order so we called again and they said it would take a further 7 days… so we ended up going to the shop (we don’t have a car hence why the delivery was vital for the order) and we collected it ourselves, I wasn’t refunded the delivery or anything.

I bought a couch last march and it collapsed so I went back to the Tallaght store and the assistant manager David sorted me out as it was still within warranty. I had my new couch within 2 days. Well what can I say, the proof is in the pudding, their after sales service is 2nd to none, absolutely outstanding service from this young man who made us feel very welcomed and like our custom mattered.
