I left it until the very last minute to order my topsoil which I needed the next day. I thought I had really messed up. I explained the situation and they pulled out all the stops to get it delivered to me in time. Great service - will definitely be using them again

I thought the price was reasonable however between ordering and my late delivery I regretted everything. There was no communication. Delivery was 1 day late which cost me serval hundred £ as I had labour booked and project now unfinished. They refunded the delivery charge which didn't cover 10% how much extra I needed to spend. They blamed a 3rd party supplier however which is not acceptable. Would not recommend.

Ordered late on a Saturday and all items delivered by Tuesday, even items where stock was not available when I ordered.

Excellent service delivered on time and placed where it was asked to be put.

Thankfully I checked whether the sharp sand I had ordered was in a bag, salesman came back to me as I had ordered loose stuff so paid the extra for the bag. Delivery efficient and product good

Product and service from helpful, pleasant staff excellent and I have used the company twice and would happily use them again.
My only reservation is they are not very good about informing one about delivery time and date in advance, despite a request for them to do so.

My order was delivered to my neighbours by mistake. When we called to have the issue sorted, it was moved bang smack in front of my front door, with two tonne bags stacked on top of one another - meaning we can’t access the ballast we need first, without moving a tonne worth of building sand.
Totally unsatisfactory

This is an easy 5 stars for me, from first point of contact with James on live chat to delivery, exceptional service, friendly, professional and honest about delivery time, also fair pricing, would not hesitate to recommend and will definitely use again.

The delivery service of bulk sand and shingle was excellent with a very helpful driver who craned it in exactly where I needed it. I would recommend this company.

I've used H&B on several occasions for landscaping projects, mostly bulk bags, sleepers, ground work supplies and tiles. They are competitive on costs, service is good and the delivery guy has always been respectful of my property; offloading neatly to convenient location.
