Hearology made me an urgent appointment even though they were busy just ahead of Easter. They were able to help me straight away with my problem and they really looked after me. And my grandsons! I had my ears microsuctioned by Stephen at the Victoria branch of Hearology. This is the 3rd or 4th time I have had this service carried out post-pandemic and I really recommend it as it is such a quick and convenient service when one is working full time as the results are immediate.

The whole thing takes less than 15 minutes and is pretty hassle free when you compare it with having to get an appointment for ear syringing at your local GP practice and having to wait weeks while you struggle through work with reduced hearing.

Microsuction is a much safer service than ear syringing as the audiologists can see what they are doing. I started paying privately to have my ears cleaned in this way when I found that my GP practice was becoming increasingly reluctant to offer ear syringing. As I wear hearing aids, it is important for me to keep my ears clear.

Both Stephen and Harry are very professional and make the whole process stress-free.

I have to get microsuction on my ears about every 6 weeks, and I've been going to Hearology Victoria for about 4 years to get it done. The service is great - you can book online - and the staff are professional and knowledgeable. The audiologists are very patient and kind, especially with a nervous patient like me! Prior to going to Hearology, I had some bad experiences with ear cleaning, but now I wouldn't go anywhere else to get microsuction.

Efficient and painless - would recommend

I have been to Hearology on three occasions to have my ears cleaned. However, this time I returned as I had been experiencing severe episodes of dizziness (BPPV} for over 5 years. I had tried exercises at home for this, but I found them quite alarming to do. I finally decided that I would at least see a professional, in the vague hope that this could be rectified. With just one visit to see Harry, who carried out an Epley Manoeuvre, the improvement is unbelievable. And the treatment package includes three visits if required. This is reassuring, but I don't think I will require another one. I would encourage anyone who is experiencing the same issue to book an appointment. Thank you very much Harry!
