I’m sharing this feedback constructively, but I’m genuinely concerned about two major issues with HelloFresh.
First, the nutritional information on some recipes appears to be significantly inaccurate and, in my view, misleading. If you’re selecting meals based on calorie targets, this matters. One example was a curry with rice listed at around 300–400 calories per serve. Based on the listed ingredients and portions, the actual calorie content would be well over double that. That level of discrepancy undermines trust, particularly for customers who are managing weight, health conditions, or specific dietary goals.
Second, the telemarketing behaviour after cancelling a subscription is unacceptable. After cancelling, I received multiple calls from unknown numbers. When I eventually answered, it turned out to be HelloFresh attempting to get me to resubscribe. The approach felt aggressive and invasive rather than customer-centred. It gave the impression that retention mattered more than respecting a customer’s decision or experience.
Between the misleading nutritional information and the pushy post-cancellation contact, I’ve lost confidence in the brand. I won’t be using HelloFresh again, and I’d strongly encourage the company to address both transparency around nutrition and how they treat customers who choose to leave.

Pretty happy with Hello Fresh, it’s definitely simplified in flavour profile over the years as I’d say they are cutting costs like everywhere has to. Still strike some amazing delicious meals though and we still enjoy it, being able to pause and then start when we feel like it provides great flexibility and there is a big selection of meals. Well-priced too.

As a single woman living on my own this has been the motivation to cook healthy meals that I needed. The skip week and pause subscription function is excellent. I enjoy selecting my meals for the week and always love getting my well packaged box delivered at a time that suits my schedule.

Great way to save time and meals are good but constantly disappointed by the quality of the vegetables! 4 of 6 tomatoes in one order were bruised and battered - in the rubbish they went! Also, in two of the meals, each had cucumber. One meal we got given a big cucumber, the other we got given a mini cucumber - why such a massive inconsistency? They were both for a salad. Also noticed that there are less and less vegetables in the meals compared to when we ordered our first box and photos of meals had cheese in them but no cheese included in the bag (and no mention as a pantry item). Less and less ingredients in the meals these days. Try the free box if you haven’t already and find out for yourself.

Love it. Well priced, healthy and delicious meals delivered to your door that are easy to cook. I assumed I would get a couple and cancel but I find myself ordering every week.

Fantastic selection of meals that are affordable-especially when you take the time to choose them. Takes the hassle out of cooking dinner.
Occasionally they get an ingredient wrong but the customer service is quick, kind and helpful and they rectify the situation immediately.
By and large a smooth setup!

The packaging is really good. Having the recipes and ingredients arrive in seperate bags makes it easier to cook
them. Some of the ingredients could be a little fresher but on the whole are pretty good. The recipes are tasty and easy to follow ..

Salads are pretty basic, just ixed greens , would like to see use of cos and other lettuce varieties. Sirloin steak really hard to get right, tough! Protein portions a bit skimpy at times. Other than that, pretty well balanced meals, just got to get your choices right

I am absolutely horrified that Hello Fresh took a payment really early, and I requested it to be cancelled 5 days prior to the date it is booked for delivery as my budget does not allow this and they refused to refund me!!!!
THIS COMPANY IS NOT A GOOD COMPANY. THIS IS VERY BAD VALUES TO NOT REFUND AN ACCIDENTAL ORDER 5 DAYS PRIOR TO DELIVERY DATE!!!!
This has put me into financial hardship and I am unable to pay for my urgent vehicle repairs for safety reasons. This is not at all okay. I would never use Hello Fresh, nor would I recommend any of my contacts use them either.
Hugely disappointing putting myself and my daughter in danger by not processing a cancellation and full refund so I can get my vehicle repairs done!!!!

Partner now has everything to create dinner most nights , although the amount supplied is more than we would normally serve , we have to buy 2 x 2 people packs for 2 adults and 1 fussy child who still has a lot of junk food when he gets home from school , 2 hours before dinner
