Heritage Mortgages came highly recommended and we can honestly say that they over delivered at every stage throughout the process. Both Will Atkinson and Lauren Drake have been a pleasure to work with from the get go. Always available to speak if we had any questions or concerns - even when those questions came outside of normal working hours. As first time buyers there was some nervousness coming into the process, but Will was fully supportive and tremendously informative throughout making it a stress-free journey. I Found Will from Heritage Mortgages through a recommendation on a Facebook group. I was nervous to start the process but Will put me at ease immediately. He was very reassuring and took the time to explain the process. We had a difficult case and Will was very patient exploring suitable deals - whilst dealing with a lot of questions from myself. Will would answer messages until very late evening, phoned me to talk through things and could tell he genuinely cared.

I then had the pleasure of dealing with Lauren in some of the process as Will was on annual leave. They were both extremely helpful and professional and I would highly recommend them to anyone going through the mortgage process.

This may sound like an overstatement, but before speaking to Will I did not believe such level of service was even possible. Where should I start? Prompt/almost immediate direct communication, unlimited patience and willingness to break things down to the last detail, eagerness to help, knowledge of the mortgage market for the niche category of the recently self-employed, among many others. We were previously told we don't qualify for a mortgage from several advisors. Will promised he would find us a mortgage and delivered, even in the ever changing market during COVID. By the end of the process we felt more than his clients - his friends.
If you think I'm exaggerating imagine speaking to your advisor 23:00 on a Friday night and then submitting your application almost midnight.
You can't go wrong.

We came across Stuart on facebook after seeing quite a few good recommendations from people. Right from the get go Stuart was lovely and helpful. He is very professional and explains everything so well and with patience. We had a really stressful time with the house we chose first, as we got gazumped after we put our mortgage application in. This meant starting again to look for a new house and changing our whole mortgage application. Stuart was really helpful and lovely about this, he even had the job of calming me down when I was so upset about our first choice falling through. But it was like Stuarts second nature and he knew exactly what to say. We definitely picked the right mortgage advisor as he has made the whole process better for us. We have had a few meetings with mortgage advisors, this is also our second time buying a property and I would recommend Stuart over any of the rest I have dealt with.

5 star service As a first time buyer I didn’t have a clue about the process about getting a mortgage and after a brief chat with Will from heritage mortgages he gave us really good guidance and positivity and got the ball rolling straight away it wasn’t a easy ride as we had a not so easy case but Will at heritage doesn’t work just 9-5,sometimes still on the phone to me at 10pm which I didn’t mind as it got us to where we are today. Will always answered phone calls texts and emails swiftly always guided and advised me kept me in the loop with everything going on even when all the mortgage was in place Will was always on the end of the phone answering questions I had so I write this review about heritage mortgages and Will Atkinson because without you we wouldn’t of moved yesterday into our family home that we love, you deserve 10 stars for excellent service
