The people I dealt with were really friendly, did me a great deal on mileage and also made me feel relaxed on collecting the car and delivering it back. All in all a great experience and will definitely hire another supercar again in the future!

Had to pay for part of car that fell off (door handle cover) which was none of my doing. Have to think the car inspections are not good enough.
[update following reply] - I concur the policy is transparent. The vehicle was in my possession. I did not dispute the payment. However, given the rep had confessed to having seen the same problem on a different vehicle from the same manufacturer and that it's a known issue, I had hoped there would be some allowance.

On the previous two rentals and on your rental when the vehicle was collected the door handles were all ok and on return one of them was missing.
Whilst we appreciate that you may not have caused the handle to break off, it may have been someone else, however you are responsible for any damages whilst you are renter of the vehicle.
At Hertz Dream Collection we operate a fair and transparent policy and will only charge for new damage at the cost incurred by the business.
We hope the above explanation provides some clarity and reassurance and value all our customers.

The representative Krzysztof Szumiejko was very helpful finding me a suitable vehicle after the failure of the normal Hertz program providing any communication that they had no vehicle for me booked thru the Gold program.
If not for the help from Krzysztof I would have used a different rental company.
