Excellent quality and service
Having been looking for an e-bike for some time, decided on the Heybike EC1 after reading many reviews. Having ordered the bike, it arrived pretty quickly. Extremely well packaged and easy to assemble. Excellent quality and particularly like that cables are routed through the frame. Good value for me and very pleased overall. However, what stood out for me was their Customer Service. Had a couple of minor issues and emailed their Customer Services department. Replies received with 24 hours and both issues resolved quickly. Many thanks to Livy and Jane for their excellent service.

My husband and I purchased an EC1 and EC1-ST in July. We have been very pleased with quality of the bikes. Also the customer service team (Jane) ensured that the orders arrived without issue.

I have been very impressed by the bikes we purchased and equally with customer service. Nothing was too much for Jane to help resolve, from order tracking to replacement of a faulty part. I would highly recommend buying a HeyBike.

Bike arrived within a week of ordering and was well packaged and relatively easy to assemble. Looks great and is great fun although have only been on one short ride due to the weather.
All in all would recommend although my wife is having trouble with hers. She'll wait for a resolution before posting but this is the reason I've awarded 4 and not 5 stars.

My bike arrived a week after ordering…
My bike arrived a week after ordering (from Ireland) which was pretty good. Well packaged and undamaged. Quick to assemble. I had to bleed one brake and adjust the pads. I have done over 150 miles now. Range is about 30 miles at high power assistance level which is not bad as it has a small battery to keep it light. Very happy with it so much so I am waiting to order a step through for my wife when the colour comes back into stock. Like most bikes regularly checking for loose bolts and other maintenance will help keep it going. Excellent value for the price.

Heybike denies basic consumer rights such as rectification, withdrawal etc.
The same demands are constantly made in endless email correspondence, e.g. "documentation of missing parts" via Video⁉️🤦
There is no subsequent delivery, no return, only excuses.
A domestic company is pretended, but ultimately only China with correspondingly poor support.

I bought an EC bike in March and it was delivered on time. I assembled it well. Until I realised that the seat post did not fit into the frame. This was the start of the disappointing communication with customer service. As Heybike only offers one size of seatpost, I suggested to Heybike that I should buy a seatpost myself. Heybike wanted to refund me the money for it. So far nothing has happened. I'm still waiting for it. Then in May, after a few rides, the LED on/off button broke. Another report to customer service Fortunately, you can start the bike via the app. But unfortunately not the light, so I could only use the bike during the day. I waited 2 months for the replacement part. The display arrived completely scratched. As a thank you, I'm allowed to pay the customs costs for it, as the spare part came from China. It's a cheek. The bike is actually quite good. It's fun to ride. But the absolutely miserable customer service makes it bad.

I ordered a blue Heybike EC1-ST ladies bike and they had the bike in stock,I paid them in full after waiting for over eight days for delivery I contacted them to be told that they did not have any EC1-STs and offered me a EC1 Gents bike instead i declined their offer. and asked them for a full refund they refused and are now insisting that i cancelled the order, i did not, now they are saying i could possibly have a refund less 8% of the total cost to pay for the online platform they use ? Their customer service is terrible e-mails every morning for the last eight days asking the same questions again and again with no answers or solutions. I wish that i had never heard of Heybike.uk . my advice is to (Never Go Near Them ) and to use a reputable company ,now its in the hands of the credit card company hopefully they will recover the money for me. By the way the star rating should be - 0 and not the lowest of one star.
Six Months later and Still Happy
I had bought the HeyBike EC1 ST and I have been getting compliments all the time on the style and how it looks. I am a very happy customer, I had to wait a month for my specific bike to be delivered (they did mention beforehand). 6 Months later I have no problems with my bike, no maintenance problems and it is fast. I would totally recommend it, great price too. Here in Amsterdam E-bikes of this caliber will cost you double the price.
Customer service is a disaster
I absolutely cannot recommend Heybike. Customer service is essentially unreachable or responds weeks later. I waited a long time for the bike, even though I urgently needed it. I sent multiple emails and tried to reach customer service by phone, but unfortunately, both attempts were unsuccessful. Eventually, I canceled my order. Seven days after canceling, I received a shipping confirmation. However, there has been no response to emails regarding returns, cancellations, etc., up to this day. The bike may look beautiful, and the offer sounds tempting, but we deeply regret the purchase. I hope my review prevents other buyers from falling into the same trap.
What a great bike with plenty of style
The bikes were well packaged and suffered no damage during transport.
Both bikes I bought were easy to put together with the use of the you tube video I saw scanned from the QR code.
The both bikes worked straight away having blown up the tyres and fitted the handle bars, front wheel, Pedals, Seat and front mudguard.
No adjustments required to the brakes or gears.
Very please with both bikes.
