Specialised HGV Training are brilliant from start to finish. Having past my test 1st time with only 2 minors and no shunts on reverse exercise says a lot about the training especially when I thought I could pass but not on the first visit. CTT deserve all the credit, very friendly and professional staff.

Recruitment part is awful
Had to pay around £3500 up front for HGV training, the training part was excellent and the company gave me all the resources I needed to pass my theory, practical and CPC tests first time. However it's been almost 2 months since I passed, and despite contacting both customer service and Manpower numerous times, I still haven't heard anything about recruitment and I am told to keep waiting until something is available, and I am going into debt because of this. Do not purchase unless you're currently working or have enough to last you!

Superlative customer service!
Superlative customer service!
After initiating HGV CPC training as supplementary income, I then experienced an unprecedented level of intensity at my main employment!
Therefore, after a significant time away from the training my account was suspended. Once the tempo at work had calmed down, I contacted the customer services department and they offered me my ideal solution without even my input! I simply explained my situation and they offered the perfect solution first time!
Excellent, friendly and professional, I would rate this service extremely highly!!!

I have signed up for my class 1…
I have signed up for my class 1 licence, when I have spoke to the advisor on the phone everything seemed quite obvious, I was told that all training dates were prebooked so there will no be long waiting time. Altogether it took me 4 months. Aswell I was assured that I will be offered a full time employment. Its 2 weeks from passing my test and I have still not heard nothing from them, even after writing an email to them. I would not really recommend them as they struggle to offer employment afterwards.

My Specialised HGV experience
My experience specialised HGV was a great one and I pass my class c and my class c+e first time. Reema, Promise and Ammar Farishta were the advisors i dealt with the most and they helped me through the full process start to finish. If i was to fault anything it was when i was doing my class c training and test along with my CPC. I was training Monday through Friday for my class c test and CPC but my driving test was on the Thursday instead of the Friday causing me to lose a day of training but I still passed and I pointed this out to one of the advisors over the phone and they said they would look into this. Thanks to the team at Specialised for all there help through out the process and also a big thanks to the team at GTG traing centre in Glasgow for doing all my training especially Chris my class c instructor and Graham my clas c+e instructor for getting me through it all.

As the other bad comments on here. TOTAL RIP OFF!!! After double the cost of normal training as Tom Riley was like a double glazing sales man and talked the talk and never delivered what was promised. Man Power was useful and helpful for one call then NOTHING! Supposed to be the biggest recruiter in the uk and was lots of jobs in my area that i had to find myself as they said there wasn't anything available.
I Failed my first attempt and they charged me £600! for a re test which i stupidly paid and was very ill the day of the re test and there was no refund or part refund they didn't care at all so i spoke to the local company they had picked for me to do the training with and they charged me £300 for pre lessons and re test, HALF THE PRICE! No after service at all!. AVOID! AVOID! AVOID!.
