Nightmare
Was meant to sort housing and didn’t and as a result I’ll be recalled to prison. Mecca from homeless prevention is a liah and twists what you say
Great help
I spoke to housing officer Paul today; he was such a nice and helpful person to talk to. explained all the questions that I had. really pleased about it.
URGENT NOTICE TO MOTORISTS in HILLINGDON
Traffic Warden,HN1146
Parking in Uxbridge High Street @17.25pm in a bay permit holders between 9-5, the traffic warden knocks my window saying you can’t park here, after a lengthy dispute another motorist comes along she shouts out you can’t park here, so now we’re both trying to explain that after 5pm you Can Park there, so she now gets on her phone to the manager who says YES THEY CAN PARK , how many tickets must she have issued and further more what training are Hillingdon giving these traffic wardens who clearly haven’t got a clue APPALLING HILLINGDON COUNCIL ADDRESS THIS IMMEDIATELY
As someone mentioned further down the…
As someone mentioned further down the line useless, but I'd go further, they give a ... on their residents. The slogan Hillingdon putting their residents first is a lip service. Installing LED Street lanterns which are so disturbing with that artificial light, that I can't sleep properly. That goes on for a long time now. Blinds installed are not really of any help. Asked them to put some amber film over it to filter blue light, no the 'bulbs' shall be warm white, so no issue. Mentioned that I have glasses with blue light filter, and it makes a huge difference but not to wear the 500+ glasses at night destroying them, they don't care. Did even send them some research links when they had changed it and now again, no that's not true. I think the last one was from a very well-known research facility in the UK and even the NHS had information on their website which they have removed.
The lamp is right in front of the house and the neighbor is also bothered, but they don't care. So, their slogan is the biggest joke ever, only if it suits them.
The question is who the residents are they put first?
Money first then residents should be the slogan for Hillingdon Council. Waste, dumbed, took them easily 8 weeks to be removed plus several reports and for each and every bit it's to open a new complaint instead of the people coming through to pick up rubbish to just clean it up.
For dog fouling they can add stickers to lanterns threatening people with fines, but for fly tipping they don't care, just if they would want everything to be full of rubbish one could think. Same with health.
After the third complaint, I received a response to contact someone who should install a rear shield, what I did, again nothing. Not even a response to say hey it might take a while to do or so, nothing. What a farce.
Untrained staff
Untrained staff . I applied for student discount and they rejected me because they said I’m studying level 3 when I’m doing 4 year Business and Management. My college from Cowley received the discount but not me. 2 months since applied. 1 month to get an answer and now I have 2 weeks still awaiting for check again. When tou late the payment next day you get reminded but when is about us they let you await for long time.
I live on owen road opposite belmore…
I live on owen road opposite belmore school for 15 years I have had trouble going to work and home the parents of the pupils park across my drive and walk away its very rude also had one parent urinating in my alley also had to install security cameras as my wife and daughter both work for the nhs and need access at all times these people can see this when asked to please move and all they get back is abuse all I can say about this behaviour is one day it may affect them
So getting back this year they actually came up with a great idea to close the road to stop the stupid driving and parking and provide a solution but as we all no hillingdon council myself personally as I did a years employment for maintenance witch was shocking and would not recommend that experience to anyone anyway they cancelled the idea saying no one replied I don't no if they have any idea about private landlords but most of the property on owen are let out multiple occupants no landlord in site and the other half are retired and don't have a computer as always no change hillingdon council the worst
Useless council
Useless council, no one answers phone to report vehicle blocking driveway and I have to find alternative parking for my car as unable to bring in to driveway. What's the point of subcontracting to Apcoa who never respond on time. Vehicles left on corners, thought you were supposed to keep corners clear as blocking them causes blind spots. Hillingdon council needs to read the highway code.
Council also don't care about multiple occupancy housing.
lack of response and lack of care
I submitted a road safety suggestion in June 2022, after I was almost run over by a car in a place where it happens quite often to me when I cycle. Today, 12/09/22 I received an email saying the case has been closed, response provided. There is no response. I called the council, was transferred to road safety department but did not have a chance to speak to anyone as they disconnected me. What a brilliant borough we live in...

A worst council ..
A worst council not just in London but in UK after not considering the antisocial behaviour complaints, rubbish...
Housing officer Heather Murphy
I have been meaning to write this review for some time, my housing officer Heather Murphy and her manager are absolutely useless, moved drug takers into a property below there is a number of people at the property coming and going all hours of the night waking me up,string smell of weed most days and also harder drugs being smoked. I own my property and was told by Heather to go live with my family if I can't cope. After over a year of complaining about the circumstances, Heather and her manager came round to my place with a bad attitude telling me basically to get on with things and I should expect to live with people like this.I think it was because I am a man that i was treated this way by the them, perhaps if I was a woman I would of been treated differently. Disgusting treatment at the hands of both of them to do with my case. The problems continue and my quality of life has suffered as result of the tenants..
Their customer services are absolutely…
Their customer services are absolutely appalling. During the process of a house move within the borough, I ( as instructed on their website) attempted to do it online . However when I eventually received email confirmation of my move , the details were not as I requested and therefore required a telephone call. I have called them repeatedly this last week. Each time requiring a lengthy hold, but to make matters worse on each occasion , when I finally got to speak to somebody, he refused to help, instead told me he had been instructed to take names and phone numbers and callers would be called back. This is totally unacceptable as with quite a complicated enquiry you need to be in the appropriate environment to deal with it. With no agreed call back time you could be anywhere, driving, in the supermarket etc , where you can't talk. I need not of worried about this though, having never received a call back .
Council Tax rebate problem…
Moved out of the Borough 30 November and informed LBH of my move and as council tax is paid over 10 months, they owed me a rebate . Despite this they continued to take my final direct debit payment from my bank account, adding to the rebate that I am due. I have emailed and called them a number of times and finally received an email at the beginning of January, stating that my rebate would be in my bank account within 10 days. 20 days later and still no rebate. I called again today, queueing for 20 minutes. When I finally got through, the person answering said she couldn’t help and didn’t have access to any accounts. She said everyone was too busy to take any calls and suggested that I ring back ! I asked what the point would be , as I would probably be queuing again for 20 minutes and then you would again say that you couldn’t help ! I was then offered a call back - but couldn’t say when that would be - but it would not be until next week. At that point I rang off as I was again getting nowhere with LBH continually fobbing me off. So as things stand, after two months, LBH still owe me in excess of £500 and I have no idea when I will get it back ! Totally useless !
Really bad experience every time I call…
Really bad experience every time I call them they always said we are very busy and they tell you they will give us call back since then I have never got call back from them really frustrating
worst experience with this council
worst experience with this council out of all other councils, they know nothing about customer service or the meaning, they proceed to be rude to simple questions, they often do not present there names at the beginning of answering the call with fear of a complaint, they will hang up the phone without asking if they can help any further in the middle of asking them more questions, i do not know if the calls are being recorded which i assume not, please be aware when attempting to speak to the someone from the council

If 0 was an answer i would chose it.
I have never in my entire life seen a serve lack of safe guarding in my entire life, i can genuinely say i have never seeked help from being in an awful situation to ending up in an even worse situation.
They had documented evidence about my mental health and my housing officer failed to show any signs of compassion and acted out of profession reducing myself to tears.
I was left homeless with a 4 year old, who had to celebrate her 5th birthday homeless I'm young too, I've been in nothing but dysfunction situations during my upbringing, but I'm not the type to ever dwell. I was left sleeping on a floor moved out of my Borough in a flat, covered in mould, no warning i had no furniture, moved too far to return to my work as the zones make the travel way to expensive, isolated me from the 3 friends i have as i do not have any family beside my daughter, away from my psychologist, in a scary area where i wouldn't dare walk the streets at night.
I tried to do the best by my daughter, she's all i have and it genuinely breaks my heart she had to witness what she did for help to finally be received, honestly i can wholeheartedly tell you Hillingdon council have 0 compassion, writing a complaint with provided evidence and a dated phone call, time, i got an apology but its honestly just not good enough and i am furious at the treatment i have recieved and i genuinely hope they have never treated anyone else like this because it will be a reason someone leaves this life, I'm a strong person but the entire 3 months i have been going through this has absolutely destroyed me, i genuinely fear for somebody else.
