Hiplok Switch = ideal for my needs
I had my eye on a folding bikelock for a while. My D lock was just too bulky to put in my gym bag and I had no way of mounting it to the frame. The bottle cage boss mounting system of the Hiplok Switch looked ideal so as Hiplok were offering a £15 discount I took the plunge and ordered. The lock was delivered in a couple of days. The mounting bracket was easy to fit and the lock sits in it securely. The lock itself is sturdy but easy to use. I can easily lock the frame and rear wheel to a Sheffield Stand. It seems ideal for my purposes - locking the bike for a couple of hours outside the gym and in town.

100% for service but 0% for shipping.. I know hiplock is doing everything they can to make sure I receive my order but it was lost by usps and I have to wait longer now to receive my order which is frustrating.
But the service I got was quick and efficient. Hopefully I receive my order soon!

Heavy, so not something I would carry around all the time, only when I'm going to leave the bike. Does the necessary job in the garage. Keeps the insurance happy....

Small portable & extremely strong.
Purchased two for two e-bikes I recently purchased, with the level of bike thefts on the increase in lawless uk, it’s a deterrent along with a battery lock & alarm. Although nothing will 100% stop a theft, it’s less likely of a target when it will take longer to steal compared to a less secured bike.

Quick delivery, excellent lock
I actually use the D1000 lock through the wheel rim of my Toyota Highlander - a prime target for car thieves. It would jam on the brake caliper if they managed to get the vehicle started.
I sleep easy, knowing it is on the job!
