Review - Porter Airlines
System is great for the price but can take some getting used to. Sometimes lags due to internet connectivity and adding/subtracting parts can create frustration as inventory counts are usually always wrong.
Perhaps adding a POS/barcode system for easier addition or subtraction of products.

Small interface issues
Some of the user interface still needs improvement. The comments fields don't allow to click to the first word of the sentence to make changes if necessary, you have to use the keyboard arrows to do that. Drop down fields don't allow for shortcut keys (ie) if a part started with a letter z, you have to scroll down thru the entire list which can be cumbersome when you have more than 1000 parts. There should be links to the previous 10 work orders on that equipment work order to view history, versus running a report, typing in a work order #, then viewing the work order. I know these are small issues, but the small issues haven't been fixed since the new revision.

Great CMMS program
Great system, great price, excellent customer service. You can get more complicated CMMS programs that cost significantly more money, but what you get with HIPPO is the CMMS program you are going to use, and use all of it. Would highly recommend this system to anyone looking for a CMMS program.

System malfunction is not allowing us to get and modify work orders. Hippo knows our demise, reports the problem is on their end and uncertain as to the fix. Out of service and not user friendly when working. We are pursuing other software.

issues with the cursor when you want to go back and correct spelling or grammer etc...the cursor shows in one spot but actually falls in a different spot on msg
there should be common/freq used phone numbers and email addresses popping up to click on and speed the process

Like most wild animals - Hippo is great once you tame it!
We really like working with the Hippo system once you get use to it. The learning curve takes a bit, especially for people with already hectic/busy days. My biggest pro would be the simplified way to add a work order request which works great for our general staff to be able to input a work order quickly without having access or need to go through the full site.
Biggest con would be that making changes to some of the lists, items etc. especially since the last up-dates can be a chore. As administrator in the first versions I was able to click on an item right in the create a work order and make changes or add selections but now many of the lists are hidden and require searching to find the right list and make changes - worse yet if you have to actually contact Hippo support to get changes made. Overall a great software and we can't wait to role it out on more properties. Will really be handy for staff that work at more than 1 site to be able to check what is happening at the other sites before they go!
