We also offer team building days and coach/referee hire as well as birthday parties. All events are fully organised so you have to do nothing and just enjoy.

amazing customer service

Have been booking a pitch with this company for around 10 months now and the service with them has been amazing. the pitch is always open on time and we have had no issues during our bookings. if you need a pitch in london I would advise you contacting hire a pitch

Terrible company to have dealings with

Terrible company to have dealings with. The chat support - which doesn't work well on a Google pixel - cut me off when I wanted to speak to a manager.

I rang them and surprisingly got through only to find out there was four of them in office mocking me!

Don't get me wrong, a startup has got to start somewhere but I really hope these guys sort themselves out or go under quickly to make way for services that put their customers first.

Update: isn't it interesting that I post a negative review of this company and in the same timescale - I'm sure it's coincidence 😅 - they have about six positive reviews. I can only think they are trying to bury the negative review in a sea of five star 'fake' reviews. Do not trust these guys, they are clearly a bad bunch.

Thomas just because you had 1 bad experience we have thousands of good ones. You didnt get what you wanted and your call lasted 2 minutes. Nobody was laughing at you.
Youve chosen to write a review because you didnt get the answers you wanted. Bit childish but do whatever makes you happy.
Yes the 5 star reviews will continue to come from genuine customers who have a good experience.

Twice they have double booked a pitch…

Twice they have double booked a pitch we have already paid for. Once we showed up and it took ages to kick the other people off the pitch because of the info we had been told. We book months in advance and they cancel on us in favour of someone else. They show pitches as available when they are not.

Great company who were flexible and…

Great company who were flexible and easy to deal with when handling matters. They have a great selection of venues in and across London and other areas for all your needs. Always on hand when you call, which is super helpful these days. Jay helped us hugely.

Booked the Waterloo pitch by mistake…

Booked the Waterloo pitch by mistake two hours only played one hour and cancelled the second one hoping I'll get a refund but it didn't happen. I booked this two days before playing around 10 pm and cancelled on the day both out of two weeks in advance rule. Emailed the hireapitch and they emailed back with "sorry we cannot" no explanation whatsoever. 0 on the customer side of it. Advertised with toilet facilities and there was none at all go on the park or pub near by was the answer.

Sorry im not sure how this is my fault
1) youve admitted booking in error
2) you told us AFTER the booking has passed you dont want it or cant use it.

This meant we cannot sell to another customer.

If you remove this inaccurate review we may consider crediting your account to book in the future but you need to take ownership that you are the one that has made the mistake and your trying to blame us for not giving a refund.

Rubbish rubbish service

The worst experience ever. These people have no real customer service skills, they are not flexible at all and top of that they T&C are rubbish. Please be aware never use this company!!! They make money on people. Height alert. Not worth the battle not worth using their services. No respected company would done anything like it anywhere else around London.

Please grow up and stop thinking your trust pilot review will impact business. We are reputable and customers are aware of our service if you cant attend your game its not our fault. You should concentrate on your own players and own team rather than be a keyboard warrior and blame us.

Organisers and Owners beware. No respect for bookings

Take this as a warning to the risks of booking as an individual. Owners of pitches who are considering using HireAPitch to manage bookings, be aware that their unscrupulous booking policies risk damaging relationships with your end customers and communities.

We had made several bookings at least 6 months in advance of an event via the HireAPitch website. A few weeks before the event and after attendees had made travel plans, HireAPitch told us unilaterally that they were going to cancel a booking. Several weeks later, they did the same for our remaining bookings. The reasoning they gave was that a block booking that was made after ours takes priority.

Whilst their communication was overall courteous, it is obvious that there are several failings in their booking process.
(1) They don't honour their bookings.
(2) They don't register their block bookings early enough so individual bookers can be misled into booking via their system.
(3) In the event of a clash, they will favour whoever pays more.
(4) They won't offer any replacement slots.

Do not use this service - we paid and they didn't even turn up

Total scam - paid for a pitch, site manager didnt turn up. They got their communications confused saying we didn't call them even though they said they will email us, then denied it and became threatening. Avoid at all costs. Luke lied repeatedly through his teeth and was exceptionally unprofessional. They will be hearing from their seniors for sure, and the card company. They've lost a lot of business down to their behaviour.

All very well when it works but then…

All very well when it works but then when it doesn't hireapitch are a ludicrous company.

We turned up at our pitch to find that there were no goalposts and were not given an explanation previously. Jay from hireapitch refused to give us a refund. He claimed that we used the pitch and he had a representative watching us, and now refuses to give us a refund. Not sure how this could have happened as we left. There were no goalposts. The pitch is £150 per hour, how can they have no goalposts.

Great booking

Great supportive staff

I was really impressed by the team at Hire a Pitch - we used them to block book pitches for an 11-a-side football team. They were flexible with payments and scheduling which as a small club with limited finances, we really appreciated! The quality of the pitch was also very good!

Big Mess

Apparently, if you need to reschedule / cancel a booking (even 48 hours before the time allocated), you cannot do so. You will forfeit the entire amount. So I guess to book a pitch with them you need to do some strategic forecast 2 weeks in advance to make sure there are no unforeseen circumstances. Best practice business model and customer service.

Corporate Rounders Game

Corporate Rounders Game
This is the second time we have used Hire A Pitch for our companies rounders tournament. Our hosts Mo and Rob were brilliant! They were so friendly and very accommodating. Luke has also been very helpful throughout the booking process.

We will defiantly be using them again. Thanks again All :)
