I can't recommend Martin and Hire Cars In Spain enough. The service and prices are excellent and they communicate regularly with you up to and beyond the booking process, which was seamless. I will certainly use them again!!!

Gold car for €106 plus 12%iva €118.72
Also took out insurance £23 here
Gold car would not accept the insurance just would not have it by the time they she put 2 lots of insurance on plus the car was now €160 plus insurance new total €386 then I didn't have a credit card so that would be €1200.00 taken off my card plus €386
Martin couldn't see my point and just kept saying you didn't have a credit card definitely won't be using GOLD CAR ever again Just to clear some thing up obviously this was beyond HCIS .com this was GOLD CAR update HCIS has asked trust pilot to move my review ( I booked through HCIS .com ) . Only when this review came out did they say they would contact gold car so far herd nothing back but didn't expect to

Your trying to make out this is the first time that this has happened I've read the reviews on your website and there's lots of bad reviews. You said you had sent gold car an email how many weeks ago ether they didn't reply or you just couldn't be bothered to tell me

have used Hire Cars in Spain for several years now and they have ALWAYS provided a first class professional and reliable service. As well as providing very competitive rates they are always available at the end of the line to answer any answers to your queries or provide advice. Last month was an example of the first class service they provide. I arrived in Malaga airport to collect my hire car but due to a problem from my side I was not able to collect it. I was stuck but immediately rang Martin who made me another booking within 5 minutes with another car hire company. 15 minutes later we collected our car and were on our way to our apartment. Absolutely first class and reliable service. What more can you ask for.

Being a frequent visitor to Spain I have has do many bad experiences renting cars I hated going through the process have expecting to be scammed. On recommendation I found 'Hire Cars in Spain' and now they are the chaps I use, always. They are extremely responsive and offer excellent advice as well as competitive costs. Biggest thing though is my trust in them. I enjoy booking with confidence knowing all charges are advised with no nasty suprises whilst out travelling.

Thanks to Martin in Hire Cars in Spain for making the booking so easy. No hassles whatsoever, not only were they the most reasonable on price comparison but I needed to change the booking...dropped them an email and it was changed immediately. They reminded me about the car insurance excess but I already had it arranged and no issues with that either. Our car hire was with malagacar.com and that was straightforward also, so thanks to Hire Cars in Spain for organising.

I'm looking to rent a car in Florida for 2 weeks in November. Because of the shortage of new cars the prices have sky rocketed. Martin found me what looks to be a good deal with a reputable car rental company in Miami and I will probably book through Hire Cars in Spain. My trip is a few months away and I'm hoping that prices will settle down a bit before then. I booked a car through Hire Cars in Spain for a week on the Costa Blanca pre-pandemic and it was good value and very easy at the airport rental desk because I went for the all-inclusive package. When I returned the car there were no arguments over whether a tiny mark was on the car before it was rented or if I had caused it. I saw some customers returning cars which were gone over with a fine tooth comb and every tiny mark was noted and argued about as necessary. I just gave the car back with the keys and went into the airport to check-in. The car we were allocated had, had quite a hard life and there were marks on just about every panel. I was so glad I took the insurance, which if funds allow, I would recommend because it's cheaper to buy through Hire Cars in Spain than on the airport rental desk. It cuts out all the hassle when returning the vehicle and there are no nasty surprises when you later find that your credit card has been charged for damage to the car that you didn't know about or cause. Martin is very knowledgeable about car rental and it seems like nothing is too much trouble for him.

I have used Hire Cars In Spain

Be very careful with these guys. I booked a car for few days for 339 euros and they told me I would have to pay a surcharge of 65 euros for a one way fee when I pick up the car, which I agreed to.

However when I went to pick the car, there was an extra 100 euros to be paid on top of the 65 euros that I agreed to. So instead of paying 404 euros I ended up payin 495 euros.

When I requested an explanation, they simply said these charges were known at the time of booking, which is absolutely false.

Please don’t be fooled with their answers below. We were charged additional charges that were not in the marketing warnings (and not in the voucher at all). Also their marketing warning said it is possible to have unlimited mileage if requested as extra but the car company just refused it at their counter. Their offers are misleading at best or just not true at worst.

We’re just back from Spain after a 27 month delay! Hire Cars in Spain were brilliant as always. We went with a new (to us) hire company called OK Mobility. Martin recommended them and we were very pleased with the price, with the friendly service and the car (it even had a triangle, hi vis jackets and amazingly an aerial!). Great service all round.
