Unfortunately, a very bad experience with hitari.co.uk

Unfortunately, I had a bad customer experience at Hitari.co.uk.

1. My order was delayed (after ten work days and not the 3-5, as promised). And nver received any information on the delay.

2: When I finally received the package, it wasn’t what ordered. And because the order was delayed I wasn’t able to return and get a new gift in time for Christmas.

But all of these are human mistakes. They were probably very busy as it was right before Christmas.

But what isn’t ok, was when I decided to return and not exchange the game, they informed me I had to pay for returning the order. Eventhough I only returned it because they mailes me the wrong product. And they never even apologized and were less than friendly. Really bad service.
The order was delayed, I received the wrong product, I had to pay to return the order and they were really rude /never apologized. So they did everything wrong - they aren’t very good at their jobs.

Ordered a wireless headset for xbox one …

Ordered a wireless headset for xbox one on eBay from hitari on 16th December and the listing stated would be delivered by 21st.

Item has been dispatched on 22nd so will not be here on time for Christmas.

Radio silence on all channels no replies to emails on eBay or direct to the company.

Now have to try and find this item last minute and be out the money until PayPal can get my money back for me.

First and last time shopping at this website atrocious customer service.

Avoid Hitari at all costs ..terrible service and communication!

Ordered the walking dead collection from them for the first time on the 3rd of December and the product was officially released on the 5th , still no delivery and no emails nothing .. terrible company ..please avoid and stick to more reputable companies like Game , simply games , 365 games , shopto as there service and price is fantastic

No stock. No contact

Twice ordered an item from hitari through different channels. On both occasions, no updates, no apologies in advance that my item wasn't in stock.
Had to open a refund request after more than three weeks of silence on both occasions.
Buyer beware.

The item you purchased was sold out and we tried to secure more stock but unfortunately, it was discontinued by the manufacturer and we were not able to source anymore.

I have checked our record and a full refund was issued on 20th Oct (i.e. after 8 days of purchase date at 12th Oct). The second order was for the same item and was also refunded promptly.
