Very good bikes

I bought a hitway bike and was very happy about it, I’ve been using it for a month now and everything is great. To be honest, this is the only store where I could buy a good bike, all my friends bought from them. I also asked the help to customer service. Very responsive and solved problems immediately. I highly recommend buying bikes from them.

They sell 1000 euro bikes

They sell 1000 euro bikes. But a charger takes 30 days to deliver from china. No good cominucation. I did not get any notivication that it was deliverd. So they send back. Better by a bike from someware els.

Thieves- returned a bike because the…

Thieves- returned a bike because the pedal arm sheared off on the first ride and the tyres were not puncture proof ( which they advertised it, as getting a puncture on the second ride) and they haven’t refunded the money.
Had the bike a week, returned it and two months later still no refund.

Update another day, another email sent- still nothing from them.

Further update
10’s of emails, a PayPal complaint, a credit card issue raised and a poor trust pilot review to get told they have received the item but it’s not been checked yet. They collected it a month ago and allege it’s been sat in the warehouse unchecked since then.

My son used the bk29 e bike for 1 day…

My son used the bk29 e bike for 1 day and it broke due to bike defects and parts been faulty I've now been in contact with hitway for 3 weeks I've sent my bike back as it was faulty which they sorted all out to get someone to come and get my back it has now been nearly 2 weeks and they don't know where my bike is it's been the worst experience I've had with any company I would not recommend to anybody as the bikes themselves are terrible plastic things and you don't actually receive your refund I've sent all photos and screenshots of the bike being collected and everything and they still can not sort it out worst company I've ever used DO NOT USE SCAMMMMM

DIDNT ARRIVE SCAM…

Bought bike didn’t arrive customer service is only active at 3am it appears

No simple way to get money back and now out of pocket and lost a job because I was unable to attend due to constant broken promises from HITWAY EU

Refund received but only after they tried gaslighting me by telling me that it was was with DPD when it was in FACT! in their warehouse the whole time they told me it was sent Monday twice before actually confirming it hadn’t left their warehouse at all! Tried to delay me finding a bike for work for their own personal gain hardly thinking of your customers first is it! I ALSO HAVE THE PROOF OF THEM LYING TO ME

Customer Service - Going up???

One of two E cycles I purchased from them has developed a fault with the righthand pedal. Teething problems which could so easily be sorted out. That is, if Hitway could be bothered to reply, or even acknowledge my emails about it. Customer service rating - Zero.
Since I wrote this, I have had contact with Hitway and, they have said they will replace the pedal. I have not heard anything since other than them wanting to know more about this review. I will be back!

Some issues with bike, but definitely can recommend!

Ordered few weeks ago bikes for myself (BK3S) and wife (BK8). I also ordered a bag afterwards. All orders arrived very quickly.
The bikes had a small problem with the front brakes. I contacted the service, they always answered me quickly (within 24 hours, as it is written on the site) and tried to help first with the adjustment and then sent new brake discs. So for the service and support a special plus!
In general, my wife and I (after around 250 km of ride) are very satisfied with the bikes. The quality is at a high level. I would like to mention the seat. I have problems with my joints and usually it is very difficult for me to find a seat on which I could ride. But here the seat is so comfortable that even long distances I ride without discomfort. Battery life is good. At maximum speed, the electrical support is enough for 50-80 km, depending on the terrain and how much stuff I have with me. But even without electric support, it is very comfortable and enjoyable to ride the bike.
For the value for money / quality / service / support I definitely recommend this company (but be prepared that when you buy a bike may need a little service, which you can do yourself). I would like the company to develop and also add more accessories and components on the website!

BK16. 48v Step Through

BK16.
My first e-bike. I can say for the money I am impressed with it. Build quality is good. performance is above what I expected thanks to its 48v battery, goes up hills easily. All in all a very good bike. No problems. Thanks to Hitway for bringing a pensioner an e-bike I can afford.

Awful customer experience with defective and dangerous product

Ordered an electric bike, everything went well for about a week when the left pedal kept loosening. To the point where a few minutes of pedaling has the pedal loosening to the point of being at risk of falling off. I realised the bolt and bolt housing keeping the pedal attached are in a right hand direction when they should be left hand to not have the pedal loosen as the pedal moves in a counterclockwise (left hand) direction.

Reported this to the company and their response has been to send me a new pedal arm which does not fix my issue whatsoever. This has lost me money as the bike is intended to bring me to work but I have had to pay for taxis within a week of getting it.

They are slow with replying to my messages and fixing the issue that has very clearly been described as within this review.

Do yourself a favour and use a different company for your electric bike needs.

Purchased BK11

Purchased BK11, Feb 2024.
We’ll constructed, very comfortable, excellent on hills, Company very co-operative on queries (eg Electronic Parameter Explanation) !
Minor irritations:- 1. Gear spread a bit close ! Could do with one higher gear !
2. Display stops indicating extra speed at set point for each power setting (10k in Power 1, 15k in Power 2, 20k in Power 3), very disconcerting, particularly when obviously going faster downhill !
3. A bit on the heavy side, but makes the bike feel very safe !!
4. Bike Padlock Combination jammed in locked position. Had to scrap !
All in all, a very good bike! Would award 96/100 !!!
We’ll worth the money !!!!!!

The Bk12 folding electric bike model is…

The Bk12 folding electric bike model is great for the Netherlands. The only way to ride vehicles such as trains, metro, trams and buses for free in Amsterdam and Rotterdam is to fold your bike. I am very pleased with this model. Because I saw that it is very durable and has excellent handling even on icy roads. I feel safe on my bike

Warranty support

After almost one year of purchasing the BK8 bike, I contacted the Hitway team for battery warranty. Their great support in checking the battery and its condition made me happy and I fulfilled my desires.

Hitway BK5 reveiw

Despite some delivery problems the customer services solved the problem and delivery was successful. The BK5 is brilliant and impressive to ride easy to use and folds easily as well highly rated product definitely deserves 5 stars.

Please read carefully!

NOT Safe!

I contacted Hitway weeks ago, about all the things below. Unfortunately they did not respond. So here's a serious review.

Purchased an electric folding bike in april 2023 (type BK6). While taking a turn the seat post, out of nowhere, bend through in the middle. I fell and suffred seriously injuries to my face and side. Contacted Hitway after this incident but Hitway prefers not respond..

Besides this, unfortunately, is a list of all other things that went wrong with this bike withing a few months after purchasing.

- Pedal bearings broke (on both sides)
- Automatic speed limiter went from a maximum speed limit to unlimited...Electronics are of low quality
- Low costumer service!

Conclusion: Materials used are not compliant/safe for the purpose. Do not consider buying this bike if you wish to not get hurt and throw away your money
