Lockdown Repair
Managed to scratch the underside of the sill in my newish Focus.
Phoned Hodsons my Local Ford Franchise and arranged to get an estimate on the same day. Guy then booked my car in for following Tuesday. When I arrived a quick phone call from car park and someone come out and explained again what they were going to do and said they would phone next day to arrange collection. Phoned as promised paid by card over phone and went to collect car. Again quick phone call and someone appeared with my key. Showed me the job they had done. Had a quick chat and then away. The job was excellent, I was very pleased as i was so annoyed at how the damage had occurred in the first place. Hodsons had done a great job, followed guide lines and made me fell very safe during my visit to their premises. I would recommend Hodsons Ford to anyone wanting to have any repairs carried out or indeed buy a car. First class service every time I visit. Thank You.

Golf repair
Hodson's repaired my Golf for me after someone forgot to stop and hit the back of the car. The service was just great, the car was collected, I got regular updates, the car was delivered back exactly as promised. The quality of the repair appears just right, I can't tell at all that it had a bump. The staff were always polite and courteous, really good to deal with, thoroughly recommended!

Great from start to finish
Great from start to finish.
I was sent a generic email and responded with an enquiry. Russell responded in quick time with the requested information. We spoke on the phone and arranged a major service and MOT. Russell also arranged for my car to be collected and delivered to my home address.
I was sent a link to a video of my car on the ramp with a review of some of details (fluid temperatures) and the tyre tread being measured.
All in all a great experience. Thank you.

A customer service model to follow ...
My little Focus marked her third birthday with an MOT and service at Hodson Ford - and we were both delighted by the experience.
She was picked up from my front door at 8am as scheduled, and returned in daylight hours, by a driver who followed Covid protocols meticulously.
The vehicle was immaculate inside and out when she returned, and pleasingly the driver waited for me to make a full inspection before heading back to Penkridge.
During the MOT/service, I received a YT video highlighting the work from the service workshop controller, Lucy Kingscott. I raised a small issue and it was resolved in real-time via e-mail.
Even before my vehicle returned, I was rung by the service team leader, Charlotte Allen, to make sure I was happy with the process, and that any concerns had been resolved to my satisfaction.
She later rang to ask my views on Ford's service plan contract, outlined the Ts & Cs for a new one, and I was very happy to agree to 'sign' an extension.
From the start - when I was contacted by mail and phone by Hodson Ford about a date/time for my MOT/service - to the last, I was delighted.
As a long-standing business journalist, I've heard a great deal of chatter over the years about implementing 'best practice' within a business.
Sadly, it is so often far from the reality whether for global corporates or local SMEs.
Am delighted to say that this was a customer service model to follow.

Don't go if value your money
My daughter-in-law took her car in for a warranty job as her windscreen wash was not working.. When she dropped the car off she was asked by the service advisor "what screen wash did you put in" her response was tesco. Then straight away she was told that is the problem it will not be warranty work so there would be a £50 diagnostic charge for them to just look at it.. Absolute joke.. Yes they did clear the so called blockage but won't be using this garage again..

Car service and mot
Greeted by the front of house staff, they were efficient, helpful and very knowledgeable. My car was ready on time and they had cleaned and vacuumed it. Anyone who thinks main dealers are expensive is completely wrong. I even had a twelve month roadside breakdown and recovery package included in the price. Fantastic service from start to finish, can’t praise hodson Ford enough.

I take my car here yearly for its…
I take my car here yearly for its m.o.t. and service when due. The service you receive is first class, when you walk through the door the staff are friendly and helpful,and always greet you with a smile, nothing is to much trouble, If you can't get there yourself they are always willing to pick up your car from your home. If I'm looking to change my car, then I tell them what I'm after, they go out of there way to help me. If you haven't been here, then your missing out, thank you Hodson Ford for many years of great service.

I had a problem with my Ford Mondeo…
I had a problem with my Ford Mondeo mark v. The auto gearbox had not been working correctly caused by a faulty oil pump.Although I had to take my car into Hodsons 3 times , twice for diagnostics and once to finally fix the problem,I am pleased that the fault has been sorted out.Staff are always helpful and pleasant.
