I had to get a medication for my kid when local GPs could not fit us in for an appointment, but I was quicky able to speak to a GP via video call on Hola Health and get my kid his medication before the chemist closed. Ineffective treatment
GP asked me minimal questions, only talked for 1 minute, prescribed me antibiotics but did not give any advice about how to manage my ear infection. The infection did not improve with the prescribed medication and i had to get different medication from a different GP.

Doctor gave us Terrible advice
Doctor gave us Terrible advice - advised antibiotic cream for a burn on my 10 year old nieces foot - which another doctor has now advised requires hospital attention at the burns unit. Irresponsible.

Great service, poor internet connectivity/booking process
The Aussie doctor was very helpful and was able to send a script directly to my phone.
I contacted the Hola website at approximately 3:30am and quickly received a link to click on which was to have a video conference with the GP.
I had a lot of trouble connecting to Hola’s video connection (which is used by the doctor to perform the consultation) using their link (which was sent via email) and the Safari app, which they specified to use. After 4-5 failed attempts and talking to an online helper, we ended up copying the provided link address and placing it directly into the Safari search window which then worked.

Can’t believe I booked a video call and spoke to a Dr within 10 mins. He diagnosed me promptly and an escript was sent to my phone and I started antibiotics within 45 mins.

This was my first time using Hola…
This was my first time using Hola Health and it was late on a Saturday night I needed to get a script, I only waited a few minutes for the Doctor to come online which was fantastic. The Doctor was very friendly and very thorough, I was all done with my digital script sent straight to my phone and it was bulk billed by Medicare, win win. I will definitely be using Hola Health again. Thank you for a great service.
