Sadly awful experience after many years of being a customer! No simple renewal of existing policy and website was horribly clunky and kept applying multiple 'extensions' for things I simply did not want! Medical cover costs have shot up too which is a shame. Chatbot was unable to help and online chat assistant was sadly also unable to assist and sent me a link for a call back which when clicked meant the first date of a call back was a week away! All in all a shame as I have had such good service from this firm before and try to be very loyal.

It took many attempts to SPEAK to a member of your staff. I was promised at least 8 calls back none of which I received I was told my number was unobtainable it was working for other calls. My number starts 01796, as your calls were coming from outside UK I suspect the callers were adding 44 and missing the 1 as well as the 0 thinking my number is a mobile starting 7. If anybody READS these I would like a call to tell me your findings as next time I try to phone I may not be able to waste days trying to speak to somebody who understands my accent and me theirs. my number is 01796******* David Clayton

Searched various companies for travel…
Searched various companies for travel insurance and Holidaysafe were by far the cheapest.
I have been using Holidaysafe for a number of years and as an older traveler with known medical conditions they have always been very competitive.
I had a claim after a fall in Canada two years ago and the claim was dealt with quickly and efficiently.

More than Doubled
I had three years with these the prices were really good,I never claimed so can't comment,I got the renewal and had to go through the lengthy medical declaration from scratch, I gave up online as the answer options required detailed medical knowledge to complete ,I called and this was no better as I felt the polite person I was talking to was just repeating the online questions with no medical knowledge,I persevered and went through it all but felt uncomfortable with the answers I had given and the change to their system,I got the quote and it was over double my previous ,my declarations had not changed and I was 1 year older now 75 , I got a few quotes elsewhere which were far cheaper and accepted one so no point asking me to waste my time calling or emailing,you have lost a customer for good plus anyone I talk to about holiday insurance ,
I am adding this as the answer below is doing exactly what I asked them not to do in my last few lines, may even be a stock computer reply and not being read
