Paid for item, no item, no refund

Went to order a product online, but I did a stock check for my local branch and saw the product was in stock there, so I popped to the shop (20 minute walk). I got to the store and I couldn't find the product, so I asked the medewerker. She said the product is no-longer sold in store, and has to be ordered online for in-store or home delivery. Made an order in store for a couple of products. The payment was deducted from my card, but I didn't get a store receipt or email to confirm. I went back to the store a few days later to collect my order, which was not there. Told to call customer service and speak to a rep. I have spoken to 2 reps -neither of which can find the order, nor the record of payment on their system. The first rep said she will call me back, she never did so I had to call back. Then the new person also cannot find the payment. I have sent the proof of transaction from my bank. Still waiting for a refund, and no contact since Friday. It's been 2 weeks since I placed the order.

First order, got an email that it is out of stock and they might ship me or refund me. I check the website and it is still in stock according to the site.

Yeah, don´t trust a company that sells health supplements that can´t even track its own inventory.

Horrible online service

Horrible online service. I used to buy in this British company Holland&Barrett back when I was living in the UK, and when I moved to Spain I continue ordering online. Since Brexit this company has gone down the gutter as they don't deliver to the EU from Ireland and the UK anymore. Besides the service online in their branch in the Netherlands is rubbished as I was waiting for a month for my parcel to get delivered to Spain and it got lost at the end. Complete waste of time! Eventually I got refund.

Holland and Barrett Erdington, Birmingham

Went to Holland and Barrett Erdington, High Street Birmingham on NYE. Met the most awful woman MONICA, who was the manager (that what her badge said). She was rude, condescending, belittling and vile. I was returning a item that didn’t work had my receipt and just wanted an exchange. The star is for the other assistant that was present that could tell that Monica behaviour was inappropriate. She warm, inviting and distracting so that the environment was diffused and didn’t end up being as toxic as it could have been. I was getting irritated by Monica and she was confrontational. It was an experience I have never had before but it was more upsetting as I was in a health and well-being shop.

I usually have a very good experience…

I usually have a very good experience at Holland & Barrett stores yet at the Wilmslow store on Sunday my experience was shocking by 2 middle aged female members of staff.

Firstly when asking for information on homeopathic items that I wanted to buy I was told that they do not have that sort of information. I said that I needed to know if the product was suitable and only then did the woman reluctantly looked it up.

At the till I struggled with my walking stick and went to give my loyalty card to be scanned and was told by her colleague to do it myself as she did not like touching other peoples things.I said that I needed help although this was ignored.

Then patronised me by telling me ‘see it is easy to do.’
I said I had a disability and needed help, then the woman told me abruptly that she also was.

I mentioned that I had recently had a mini stroke and her reply to me was that she had to stand for 6 hours!

It felt as though it was an inconvenience for them to serve their customers.

I am a regular customer at a number of your stores and have never had such a horrendous experience.

I will never go into that particular store again.

I have always found your products to be of good value and quality although I refuse to use your services again to be treated in that way.

They sell ghost stuff.

I ordered gluten free breads and pasta. Unfortunately, the parcel was not delivered. Wrong tracking, later they explained that they didn't have everything in stock, until finally the order was canceled ... Unfortunately, the money still has not been transferred to my account. I'm disappointed.

Wanted to Wish Holland & Barrett…

Wanted to Wish Holland & Barrett Croydon Whitgift The very Best and More I popped into store today to say Thank you to Ellen your Manager in this very much loved Store upstairs in Whitgift Centre Last year 2022 I have panic attacks and I do not like crowds last year November 2022 I was not having a great time coping I was in store and was not feeling very well Ellen approached me as ask how could she help also how was I feeling ? I broke down because Ellen noticed I was not well I explained everything Ellen listened I felt really safe and we spoke about a few items in store that I could try to carry with me in my handbag while travelling also to use at home which I am using as part of my soft soother management pack that I use now while I am out. I am so grateful to Ellen and her wonderful Team
I never really had time to Thank Ellen so today I popped into Croydon Store Whitgift Ellen was there with her Beaming Smile helping another customer I purchased an Item. Ellen was at the Tills. I wished everyone all the staff including Ellen a wonderful day and year I then spoke to Ellen I was able to Say Thank you for all her Help Support last year I told Ellen I will never forget her professional approach and being a Lovely Being on this Earth 🌍 I wanted to write this Review to let Ellen Know how much herself and her Team in Croydon are always approachable helpful resourceful lovely personalities full of product knowledge and most of all to Let Ellen know when you have a great head the body works in balance and in sync. That’s how the Croydon Staff works together a lovely Team

Holland & Barrett are an extremely poor…

Holland & Barrett are an extremely poor company with a useless Website, where it doesn't even allow you to create an account. The Customer Service Team are just as poor as I found them very unwilling to assist me when I attempted to become a new customer by opening an account.
This company is definitely one to avoid, at all costs.

Absolutely Appalling Service. Stay away from Holland & Barratt

A sizable order placed online at the weekend and was promised a delivery date within a week. (Acceptable!!)
13 days later and I am still left hanging ....waiting for Evri to deliver!!
Evri claimed to have made few attempts to delivery but unsuccessful. Completely false / misleading - as someone is always home. Evri actually failed to turn up even at the next day as promised on Track and Trace service.
So I called Holland and Barretts customer services - based in south africa who have NO real control in dealing with or contacting a person who is a UK representative based at the courier company.
Every day from day 7 to day 13, I kept on calling customer services number to enquire when parcel would be delivered. No reassurance given.
H&B kept on apologizing for the inconvenience and stated I should receive it between 8am and 8pm the next working day / tomorrow. But - guess what, that "tomorrow" just never comes!!!
An absolutely appalling service experienced. Seriously, Stay away from ever ordering from Holland and Barratt's - a "health food store". Never again...... you need the stress to live a full healthy life.

Rude staff member

Hi,
I went to the Westfield Stratford store to pick up an online order. The woman who served me was a short young girl with dark hair. As I approached the counter I told her I am here to pick up an order. She insisted she already organised the online orders this morning and questioned when I received the collection order text message. she took down my name and order number and just walked off. She came back and said she couldn't find the order and questioned me again when I received the collection message. I showed her my phone and she asked what I ordered online. I told her the items and she walked off again without saying anything to me and then I told her she might have looked at the wrong number. She just ignored me and came back with the bag with my order number so obviously she made that mistake. She then asked me to pay for the item and I said that I had already paid for the items and she just starred at me. She was very rude in her customer service. As a customer who has worked in customer service myself for over 10+ years, there was no friendly approach or smile. I am appalled at this service and understand that shops do get busy throughout the day but she made me feel so uncomfortable and I don't think I will be using that store again. It doesn't take much to be nice does it?

Hi I was shopping at Holland and…

Hi I was shopping at Holland and Barrent at Stratford Westfield UK I had no clue what vitamins D tablets to buy Barbara was very helpful she suggested the right ones that didn't have wheat and preservatives she also recommended other ones to she was friendly and her customer service was very good we need staff like Barbara in Holland and Barrent this was my first time shopping at this store Thank You.

Expire product

They give discounts from time to time, but those are products that are About To Expire. Plus they apparently keep the product's "manufacture date" as a trade secret - if consumers notice they're buying a product that's been sitting there for three to five years, no one will buy it, no matter how much discount they get.

Is it really CBD inside the bottle?

I have bought CBD oil 2 bottles (big) for £60.00. I have arthritis and sometimes the pain is to sharp and CBD has helped-me. On 1/11/2022 I went to Holland and Barrett at Whitgift Centre and the lady noticing that I was in pain told me about the promotion buy two for 58.98. The bottle size is much bigger than the other for 19.99. I had bought it before and for not needed to go there again soon I accepted it.

The problem now is the colour is so dark and taste totally different from the others I had bought in the past and the it is not working about the pain.

If the company would like to see the bottles with the products inside I will be very happy to do it. I really like praising companies and products but this time I am very suspicious.

Almost 1hr on hold!

I called them got through to a woman on option 2 after 5 minutes, she told me she couldn't check stock and had to transfer me to the loyalty department where i was on hold for almost 1hr.

If it takes almost an hour everytime i want to see if a product is in stock it works out better if i just ordered the product from Amazon or Ebay.

I used to shop here a lot and bought multiple tubs of gold standard whey protein from them the other day, unfortunately it now seems to works out cheaper an easier to order from Amazon or Ebay.
