Very Unprofessional
We have been customers of Saxo for over 10 years, several months ago we were asked to provide more KYC information for all 3 accounts we have. Without warning all accounts were frozen from investing. The process was very long and drawn out with continuous questions for information already supplied. Eventually 2 of the accounts were unlocked, but a 3rd is still a problem despite the same information being supplied for all 3 accounts. Responses are very slow and very often unclear as to what the status is, limitations on uploading documents mean we have to send screen prints only to be told they cannot see all the information! I have sent them in email as well but that is never looked at. Possibly the most unprofessional finance company I have come across. Prior to this they were excellent which is why we have stayed for over 10 years but now it's difficult to find a good reason to deal with them.

Outstanding user experience
Outstanding user experience. By far the best self-investment platform in terms of the breadth of instruments and associated costs.

Largely had a poor overall customer service experience with Saxo, however Ester Johanne Bjørnstad was excellent. She turned a complex issue that many others had struggled to resolve around incredibly rapidly and deserves special recognition as a result

Lack of transparency and slow respons
Subject: Ongoing Issue with Account Funding - Case No. SAX-5724975-D2G9Z4
I am extremely dissatisfied with the service at Saxo Trader Go. On 3/9/2024, I attempted to fund my account using a debit card, which failed. Following this, I initiated a bank transfer of £100 to my Saxo account. Despite the transfer being completed over five working days ago, the funds have not yet appeared in my account.
I reached out via email (Case No. SAX-5724975-D2G9Z4) and initially provided a screenshot of the bank transfer as evidence. I was surprised by your response dismissing mobile screenshots, as mobile apps are commonly used for banking today. Afterward, I uploaded a PDF of my latest bank statement as requested. The system then claimed the issue was resolved, but my £100 is still missing, and I have received no further updates.
This lack of transparency and slow response is frustrating. Please clarify where my £100 is and resolve this issue promptly.

Run as far away from Saxo as you can
Oh dear, where do I start... with the fact that their customer service can't read documents, or do not know how dates and calendars work in regards to KYC/SOW documentation? Or maybe the fact that you will NEVER be able to properly converse with a representative?
Or maybe the fact that their only source of customer service works 30% of the time?
Or maybe that it takes them a month to review simple documents and you can lose access to your money and account for a whole quarter?
Or the hidden fees?
Or maybe the fact that you can't easily create an FX account?
These are just the topics that I can start with - there's far more hidden skeletons in this monstrosity of a company.
I wouldn't recommend them, in fact I am actively doing everything I can to tarnish their reputation within my finance community because their product is not just sub-standard, it's quite frankly a scam.

Saxo offers the private investor good support
I have had an account with Saxo for ten years and have found day to day operations reliable.
They offer named points of contact, useful help pages, and some news and market assessments. The staff are generally helpful and supportive.
While it would always be nice to have more, Saxo offers a wide range of investment instruments, and its trading platform is straightforward to use with useful reports available. In particular, I find the algorithmic trading facility helpful to automate order placement.
While for the most part I rate Saxo highly, my experience of the KYC processes is that their requests are sometimes cryptic and lack a personal touch.

Awful customer service and payments experience
Awful customer service and payments experience from the India call centre. We are now into the fourth day since I requested the withdrawl of funds. Their back office refused to escalate the issue when I requested, incredibly rude and poor customer handling by the team in India. It took this Trustpilot review for someone in the U.K. to contact me and addressing the problem and to give good customer experience. I will give 2 stars overall, however the U.K. engagement deserved 5 stars. If SAXO have any sense they will shut down their back office in India and move it back onshore like many other financial institutions have.

Trading commissions are too expensive
Trading commissions are too expensive, and though has stocks on different stock exchanges many companies on those exchanges are not available to trade and requests to include them costs £200.

I really appreciate the personal service
I really appreciate the personal support from Saxo. One of the reasons I switched to Saxo is because I didn't like the fact I could not reach someone to talk to when the chatbots could not help. I really feel like Saxo staff go the extra mile . Highly recommended from my side. Gabriela in particular was really helpful in the customer service

The company hides behind its platform…
The company hides behind its platform and doesn’t engage with its most important asset - its clients!
I spent over 3 months being hounded for more and more information despite me complying with all requests.
The ultimate insult was a threat to close my account - despite my considerable efforts to address all that was asked of me.
I spent 40 years working in the finance industry and I have never witnessed such poor customer engagement.
It’s a shame because the platform is excellent - unfortunately the customer service is non existent.

Customer service non existent.
Joined in March sold on their refer a friend option of £500 bonus for you and a friend to open an account...This is maybe a con but since joining I have sent numerous emails , online request tickets and chats to find out where my £500 bonus would be received.. All you get is a email saying it been referred to another department for investigation. What takes 4 months to investigate when the idea of an offer should be as simple as a click of a button .i also found out by losing money on a trade that unless you pay a monthly extra subscription for any market you get 15mins delays which was never explained. I mean why would you even join a trading platform that never gave you live data to trade fairly and responsible from the start. The objective is not to make it harder for your customers to trade but easier. You might want to look at what your competitors are doing SAXO . customer service is also terrible in getting back to you on any query .I would not have chosen this company if u knew how bad there customer service is..
