Shortly after ordering online the surveyor made contact by email to personally introduce himself and confirm when he would carry out the work and have the report uploaded for me to see. Both were done quickly and efficiently. Very pleased with the service.

Report should be quicker, as in this day and age with the internet, it should be received within 48 hours.

I have used homebuyer online for 2 different properties in the last few months as they are very competetive with the price. Only gripe i have is that the surevyour was very slow completing my report on the first occasion and i am still waiting for him to send me my second survey which will be nearly 1 week since he attended the property. So in summary they need to keep a better eye on thier Surveyors as they can be very slow and i'm sure i will recieve some excuse as i did the first time.

Survey was completed just 4 working days after ordering. Was downloaded to the day after survey completed. Gave me all the info I needed to know. Was £150 cheaper than the last survey I had done on another property recently. Would definitely use again.

This is the second Homebuyer's report ordered though Homebuyer Online, and once again, the quality of the report was excellent. The only reservation was that different surveyors have different SLAs for producing the reports (first took 48 hours, second took 4 days), but they both produced a quality report within their own SLA.

I'd recommend this service to anyone looking to purchase a new house. The reports are easy to digest and the website is very easy to use.

A very prompt and efficient service. I had a surveyor appointed within 24 hours and a survey available to me within a week. The surveyor made imself available to discuss his comments etc. I would absolutely recommend this service to anyone wanting a survey undertaking quickly and efficently at a competitve price. I was nervous about using an online survey company, but I need not have worried. I ordered a survey and within a couple of hours the surveyor had been assigned and he had arranged the survey appointment. The surveyor was extremely efficient and was in direct contact with me regularly. The report was very well laid out, easy to read and gave useful infirmation. I was a bit skeptical about getting a survey as all the people (including estate agents) said it's really not worth it, the surveyor will briefly look round the house and tell you things you already know and if the bank are willing to lend you the money then it will be fine. Because the house we were buying had had some structural work done on it I decided to get one anyway as it was playing on my mind (we are first time buyers). I called Homebuyer online just for some advice really, Hugh was so thorough and really took the time to talk to me about the process. He really pulled the stops out for us as we needed a survey done the following day. He was again so thorough and really knowledgeable and gave us really good advice. In short it just goes to show that all surveyors are not the same. Really nice guy who knows his business!

Hugh Greenhouse was our surveyor and his report was clear, concise and covered all areas of concern that we had previously highlighted.
He was readily available to answer queries and took the time to answer separate queries that we had raised in an email.
All in all, I would definitely recommend Homebuyer Online - charges were reasonable too.

The report contained useful information on the positive and negative aspects of purchasing the property. The survey was carried out within a week of ordering it and the cost for the report.was resonable. I would recommend Homebuyer Online on reasonable cost, speed and good service.

This is an excellent service which involves the minimum of time and hassle. If you need a Homebuyers Guide then I really don't think you need to look beyond this website. We received our report on-line on the afternoon of the surveyors's visit to the property.

I thoroughly recommend this service the detailed report I received was detailed and was invaluable in making a decision as whether to purchase a new property.A very slick and efficient Company to deal with virtually everything is done on line however you always have the reassurance of telephone access to the Head Office and the Surveyor who is allocated for your inspection.Certainly very useful if like me you live 130 miles away from a possible new home.

I was really happy to find this website as I was beginning to think surveys were a waste of money. But after I spoke to Hugh I felt reassured as he took time to go through things with me before the survey and again afterward. The survey report contained lots of useful information about the house and the long term maintenance issues. I would defintely reccommend using this service.

Firstly we booked and paid for the house survey on line on 21st November 2012, we received no communication as advertised as to when the survey would be carried out. I rang and left messages on 2 x seperate occasions and eventually i received a call back to say they were struggling to carry out the task and did i want my money back, or if i gave them a day or two they would hopefully find a surveyor.
Well i received no replay only for my wife to receive a call from the surveyor saying he would carry out the task on 3rd Dec 2012 at 10.00am, if he found anything that would be an issue in terms of purchasing the property he would call her before he submitted his report.
We heard nothing, so due to the fact that we wanted to complete the purchase but obviously concerned about the survey she rang they surveyor, left a message and finally received a call back on 4th December, indicating some issues but said we would receive his report on 6th Dec, time will tell !!
We paid alot of money for this service and i feel we have received a very poor service and customer care is non existent to say the least.

A detailed, professional, efficient and prompt survey. Well worth the money!

Homebuyer online is a great idea. It took the stress out of finding a surveyor and at least in my case was very quick: I found the website on a Sunday, the survey was done on the Tuesday, and I had the report on the Thursday.

Great on line way of getting a homebuyers survey done without all the silly stuff that surveyors put in.
I was also able to speak to the surveyor at a mutually convenient time.

We ordered our homebuyers survey on the 16 th October and the survey was carried out on the 19th October, with the report ready on the 23rd October. The report was well written and it pointed out 1 urgent problem and a couple of minor problems. We would recommend the service, it was of a reasonable price, which has brought us peace of mind.
