Great service and quick response!

Great service! Made a booking on the Monday for a problem at our office, they managed to get an engineer out on the same day to sort. Would highly recommend and use again!

After hearing some rather alarming…

After hearing some rather alarming sounds from my boiler I called Homecure to investigate the issue. The fault was found quickly and the engineer took his time to explain my options to me. As my boiler was already coming close to 15 years old I decided the best course of action was to install a replacement. Homecure managed to squeeze me in at short notice to my delight, which means I am no longer worrying about the dreading thing breaking down! Honest and reliable team who I would be happy to use in the future.

Outstanding service

Called Homecure to fix a broken boiler, they got here within 2 hours of my call. A very nice man called Josh arrived and promptly diagnosed a broken diverter valve. He went to get the part and came back straight away to fix it. Boiler is now up and running. Will call them again if ever in need. Outstanding service.

These people are scammers!

These people are scammers, do not use!! The sink stopper in bathroom was stuck. Quoted £79 for first 45mins, plumber came out and quoted £265 to take out sink stopper and replace with new one. I said no, too much, agreed to pay the £79 (he had been here only 20mins so far). He went away and came back with quote of £175, I agreed to that. He went away for about 45mins to get part and took about 1/2 hour to fit, but now pipe under sink was leaking, quoted another £120 to fix a problem which I believe he DELIBERATELY created to get another job. Not acceptable! Still waiting to hear to hear from Homecure.

Avoid.

Avoid.

We called these plumbers out to fix our underfloor heating. They came up with a fixed price for the work which, though it sounded expensive I foolishly agreed to without asking for a break down of the costs. They replaced some parts and got the controls working but the heating still didn't work.

I had my doubts and checked the cost of the parts they ordered. Unless their rate was £200+ an hour there was no way the cost of the job could add up to what they quoted even including the initial call out fee.

I lost trust in them, didn't ask them to come back, and finished the job myself. I was worried they'd charge us even more. Also what was left to do was so basic it almost looked like they'd left the job unfinished so they'd have to come back.

I asked them for an itemised invoice. I had every intention of paying their bill, but wanted some reassurance that I wasn't being ripped off. Instead I got a phone call one night from someone accusing me of causing a fuss to try and reduce my bill. At no point did I ask for a discount, I just questioned their work, their quote and wanted an itemised bill.

I have paid them, because I stupidly agreed to their fixed quote at the outset. If you choose to use them, make sure you get a detailed quote before agreeing to anything. However, I don't trust this company and suggest you don't either.

Tried to overcharge us!

Engineer they sent out tried to charge us £900 for a repair and two new parts in our boiler. We were surprised with this cost so sought a second opinion from a different company. The other engineer repaired the boiler for just £50 and the callout fee. It was clear that the engineer from Homecure was trying to rip us off for a repair that we didn't need!
