Homecure Plumbers arrived to convert…
Homecure Plumbers arrived to convert the water system to mains pressure which involved supplying and installing a new unvented cylinder and pump in the airing cupboard, disconnecting and removing water tanks from the loft area, and the old water heater from the airing cupboard. The level of service was excellent, they were extremely polite and professional, from the very first moment they arrived on site. They laid floor coverings throughout the house, completed additional works which were not initially scheduled, were energetic and solution-driven when issues emerged and thoroughly checked all aspects of their work before leaving after they had finished. We were extremely pleased with the work that they completed and very impressed with their level of professionalism.

We had Lee and his team round to replace our boiler and radiators. From start to finish, they were so professional and did a fantastic job. They put our new boiler in our loft freeing up room in our kitchen, they removed our old water tank out of the cupboard and replaced 4 radiators. Excellent job.

Robbed … £228 to fit (a supplied) kitchen sink tap, remove a leaky sink valve under the same sink and to diagnose an alleged constant refilling cistern which was showing no signs of issue during the appointment. Initially quoted £79 and then £95 per hour thereafter. Not quite sure how two hours got racked up on this minuscule job but yet another excellent example of robbing London work mentality.
I telephoned the office to try to resolve this. The receptionist/assistant had no enthusiasm to try to reach an agreement. I would have even accepted the initial alleged charge along with the extra hour plus VAT. Literally talking pittance here in the grand scheme of things (£19.20) but principle at stake.
I do hope future customers take note that where possible time will be made up to ascertain a heftier fee than potentially required.
I shall be sure to spread the word to all relevant review sites.

My boiler broke down I called them to fix it. When they arrived engineer sed that the boiler pomp need replacement. It was £474 to do that. I thought it's Ok if the boiler going to be fixed but in 10 days the boiler broke again showing the same fault code as before. I called them again they said they going to charge me £79+ VAT to come see the problem 10 days after they seen the boiler. I think its just ripoff

Highly recommend Homecure.
We called homecure when our toilet became blocked. We were worried that it would overflow. But the plumbers arrived quickly and completed the job without delay. The Plumbers were very pleasant and efficient. I highly recommend their services.

Reliable
Reliable, trustworthy and there when I most needed them. After some recent works on my flat, the boiler packed in. At the same time, we were preparing to bring my kid home from hospital. Having been born 4month early it was vital that the flat wasn’t an igloo. I explained my urgent situation Homecure sorted it. Took all the stress out the situation. Can’t thank them enough

Disorganised, no communication and poor quality
Started as a brilliant experience, office staff supportive after being let down but other plumber and then it all went wrong, promised an engineer the next day, but was booked for the day after.
When he turned up (2.30pm Thursday), said he didn't have time to do the job (was eventually completed in under 2.5hrs) and said he would come back on Monday. House was completely turned upside down at this point but we stuck with it. Homecure confirmed the appointment for Monday. Monday came and went - no engineer... Chased and was told due to the weather (heavy snow) their jobs were delayed but no one had thought to contact me, so another day of chaos (and no heating in the room that I work from)
Was told we were priority for the 1st visit the next day, lunchtime came and went, told engineer at an emergency, then delayed, when he turned up (4pm) he had no idea what the job was, explained it all again, and then he decided he didn't have time to complete the job that day and said he would get it rebooked.
Called the office who said he should have stayed and done the job, which was no help to me as he had gone.
Rebooked the appointment again, again assured we were priority for 1st appointment - a 3rd enginner turned up in the afternoon, confirmed we were not his first job and he had been given our job during the day (utter chaos) he also had no idea what the job was, so explained again what was needed (we were moving a radiator from one wall to the other, all external copper piping - so a very basic job) and he then informs us he doesn't have the copper pipe required to do the job that day.
So we are 2 weeks from xmas, in the middle of decorating and refurbishing our downstairs and everything is being held up by the radiator move, no xmas decs up for my girls and living in chaos.
We then have to waiting over another weekend for the 3rd engineer to return and finally finish the job on 22nd December. In the process dirty radiator water is spilt on our carpet and over our new units, and the freshly painted wall was scorched by the blow torch.
All in it was an absolutely awful and stressful process. The once helpful and understanding office staff seemed indifferent to the struggles we had experienced and when I reached out asking if I had experienced what they considered to be a satisfactory level of customer service, they had little to say and eventually offered me a 5% discount (£22). I tried speaking to the company director, email was ignored, no calls nothing. They offered a final 10% and threat of debt collectors so I have very reluctantly paid well over the odds for appalling service. Avoid at all costs.

Not on time
I contacted them and they said their plumber will come today between 12 to 16. I was waiting for him and could not go out. Their plumber called me at 16:15 and said he will come in 45 minutes. Not trust worthy and reliable at all. They wasted my time. I contacted so many company and they called me back today as they promised to send the plumber I did not arrange with other company.

We use Homecure Plumbing to re-arrange our pipes, it is a brilliant and amazing company. Dave sorted out all the problems, and we were extremely impressed by the office too. They were professional, knowledgeable, courteous and tidy, perfect in all the ways. Charges also were very reasonable and fair. It's been dealt with far better than we expected, we cannot recommend highly enough and we will definitely use them in the future

Top marks - professional and decent company!
Faulty fan on a Keston boiler - I was able to get an immediate appointment. Jamie arrived at 8 am and was right on the issue. He did get me to check the warranty to see if I could get it via the company rather than pay out (sadly not within the 2 years but kind that he suggested this). He phoned a local supplier and went to pick up the part and was back quickly. Fan installed, my shower was up and running in the hour. I felt the service was honest and decent with care about the cost and impact on customer. Jamie is a legend and I will use Homecare again.

AVOID THIS COMPANY
AVOID THIS COMPANY
I called for a local plumbing firm to attend the flat as there was a leak in the kitchen (unidentified cause at that point). We believed it was from the washing machine but it could have been the dish washer or a blocked sink drain pipe as the sink wasn't draining.
First person to attend was there to unblock the sink - did the vacuum flush through and a week later the drain was still blocked so he had to return. He said he wasn't a plumber so couldn't help with either machine if that was leaking so I had to pay for a second visit for the plumber to come round.
The second person to attend was a 'plumber' who could not identify the plumbing issue or find the leak. He pulled both machines out to look but didn't know what else to do. He ripped the electrical cables from the back of the washing machine when he pulled it out so a massive spark went off and blew the fuse box so (a) the machine was now definitely unusable and needed replacing (b) it blew the electrical circuit of the socket it was in so I had to pay for an electrician to come out to fix the socket and circuit that had broken. I told the office manager that this had happened and was told "these things happen" and that they have no interest or responsibility for the electrical damage caused to the machine itself or the socket and circuit. There was no consideration of refunding me the cost of the visit when this 'plumber' literally did nothing other than move the two machines in and out.
In that same visit, I was the one who identified that there was actually water under the dish washer not the (now broken) washing machine and so that needed replacing too but he couldn't do anything about that.
In the end, I paid them for: two visits to unblock the sink and one for a guy to break the washing machine that wasn't leaking and cause additional damage to the electrical circuit.
Overall cost to me: I bought two new machines (washing and dish washer), I paid a proper plumbing company to install them both and I paid an electrician to fix the electrical damage.
The office manager was due to call me back to discuss again the cost of the damage and I never heard from them again.
I wanted to support a smaller local business. DO NOT USE THIS ONE. They are not professional or capable.

Very poor AVOID
Booked a plumber for a sink leak and washing machine issue.
Despite changing the time ‘plumber’ turned up 2hrs early. Nice enough guy but spent half the time on his mobile.
He went off to get parts (chargeable time) then returned and went off again to get different parts (chargeable time) oldest trick in the book when being charged hourly.
He fixed the leak but could not resolve blockage.
I paid the plumber via an app drectly, no receipt given or guarantee. On your bank statement shows no reference to the company or job just your name that’s very odd.
The next day a new leak developed avd I contacted the company and was waiting for a drainage appointment / visit that was never arranged and of course no-one turned up.
Communication from the company was very poor mainly automated emails. Homecure plumbers are clearly just a booking portal for sub contractors (are they actually qualified plumbers?) they are not a professional plumbing company in the slightest and likely take a booking fee and % of the hourly rate - £95 plus vat per hour!
I never received a receipt for the payment or any guarantee.
My advice - AVOID at all costs as I had to book a professional plumber.

Significant water leak after new bath taps fitted
Homecure fitted new bath taps on 20th July after Homecure failed to meet a scheduled appointment on 12th July. Have just today (3rd August) removed bath panel and observed significant leak from an incorrectly fitted flexi pipe. To their credit HomeCure have fixed the leak today but significant water has leaked between 20th July and 3rd August. I expect better from a plumbing firm that claims high standards. There should be no leaks after any plumbing firm fits new taps. As it was I had to the call the plumber back twice on 20th July to fix two leaks that I had already observed, but I must have missed one. Still I do not expect 3 leaks following a visit from the plumber to install new taps, flexi pipes and isolation valves.
Really not sure I would use HomeCure again and would struggle to recommend given missed appointment and creation of 3 new leaks following works.
Also just to add, no apology or indeed any reply at all from Homecure following my complaint and request for refund for faulty works
Have sent numerous emails asking for a refund for work that failed to meet acceptable standards…. No reply at all. No apology for damage caused.
Many thanks for the reply… on 31st March 2025. Nearly 3 years since the problems were experienced !!! Kind of says it all really about this company.
1 in 4 reviews are rated 1 star and I expect most of these would rate 0 star if you could.

Great service from beginning to end
Great service from beginning to end! Stacey and Emma in the office are friendly and efficient. Kevin, the gas engineer, came on time, discovered the gas leak, which obviously needed urgent attention so I could switch the gas safely back on and use the boiler, which he serviced, too.
Very satisfied with the service. Thank you Homecure :)

Avoid. I gave them all the information of what was wrong with my boiler and what needed replacing (chip board) and I also gave them ample time to do the job over two days. They delayed delayed and delayed, and eventually came last minute on Friday after 5pm, so that suppliers would be closed. They suggested I wait to Monday morning. I refused the call out fee and had to get another engineer as an emergency rapid call out for 3x the price.
Totally useless. Go somewhere else.

Bad workmanship and incompetence
I used them to fit a new boiler last year. I was told it would take a day and a half in actual fact it took 4. The fitter seemed unable to make it work and called out the vaillant engineer twice in my name without telling me for them to remedy the situation. I was told by them that he had plumbed in the hot feed to the cold and vice versa. Of course when I asked him about it he denied it. Another problem was that as part of the work they took the old water tank away but joined the remaining pipes together sticking up above the floor making them a trip hazard. Other redundant pipes which could have been taken away were not and when asked why they fobbed me off with explanations which even I knew were not correct. The magnet which they fitted which is used to keep the system clean was fitted the wrong way round and kept on falling down. I must have made over 20 phone calls to them about the problems. They kept on telling me they would ring back but never did and when asked about this they said they had but got no answer. Of course I had a record of calls and there were none from them. During a really heavy rain storm and an overflowing gutter my kitchen got flooded because the heat outlet pipe from the boiler had not been sufficiently cemented in causing the water to run into the kitchen After a lot of persistence and headaches and several months of hassle, I am 77yrs old, things got remedied to a minimum acceptable standard. I don't think I ever received an apology from them or any suggestion of compensation in some form. My recommendation is don't ever think of using them.

Avoid home cure plumber at all costs
unprofessionals doing a job that they shouldn't be. Very quick to take diagnostic charges, then they let you keep following up on the work that is their responsibility. The receptionist has no idea about the schedule of the plumber and the plumber has no time to respond to customer calls. Avoid them if possible, there are many professional plumbing agencies out there.. home cure is good max for tap installation or washer changes... Beyond this they fool their customers and give no heed on others valuable time.
