Would definitely recommend

I had a very positive experience with Homecure plumbers and would definitely use there services again. My partner and I came back from holiday last month to find our hot water wasn't getting hot. We booked in a visit over the phone (who were very friendly and helpful) for an appointment the very next day. The engineer who visited was also really friendly, clean and tidy and knew exactly what he was talking about. Everything was explained to me regarding the fault with our boiler and he managed to source the part straight away from a local supplier. This was a very smooth and painless process unlike experiences I have been through in the past, highly recommended!

We have been using Homecure for at…

We have been using Homecure for at least 5 years now. They just installed a new valiant boiler for me at my property and after getting 3 different quotes they were the cheapest but the main selling point was that they gave a 10 year guarantee as they are a valiant approved installer compared to the other 2 companies who offered just a 5 year guarantee. They have very knowledgeable engineers who always get the work done to a high standard and at short notice. I would definitely recommend Homecure to others.

A "quick fix" means it will break again apparently

Had a really poor experience with Homecure. Came out to look at a toilet button issue. Was told that a fix was made and it should be good moving forward. Broken within a couple of days (exact same issue as before). Contacted Homecure for a refund. Was refused by email. Followed up to ask again and iterate that they hadn't done anything to fix our issue and then received a phone call from somebody.

The aim of the call seemed to be to iterate why I was in the wrong and find different ways to tell me that they wouldn't refund me. Kept cutting me off as I was talking. Even said at one stage "We offered a quick fix so it would break again as it was only a temporary fix", which is an interesting business model.

No resolution offered, no offer of a partial refund, no offer for somebody to look at it again.

My partner tried to talk to this person as well but again was cut off and the phone call ended with us just giving up and hanging up. Will be going through a complaints procedure. Honestly don't waste your time, much better options out there.

Completely unprofessional

I called to book an appointment for a gas engineer to do an annual service check on a boiler. I was told that an engineer could come to my flat the next morning between 8am to noon.
The next morning, I called around 11.15 am to check if the engineer was still coming and what was his ETA. I was told I was "on the list" and that the woman on the other line would call me to tell me when he is coming. I waited for 10 minutes for a call back and then, at 11.25, I called again. I was told the woman was still on the other line.
I did not call them again until noon and they did not call me. I told them to cancel the job.
I had waited around the whole morning for someone who was not going to turn up. They made no effort to tell me that the engineer would not be coming or was running late and may have to reschedule. I was just hanging around for nothing.
