SCAM ALERT, do not use this guy, the good reviews are fake and you will never see your HomePod again. Read the negative reviews everyone had the same experience.

Great Service

As per some of the reviews below. I now have a working HomePod that Apple had suggested needed a replacement at a cost of £240.. As indicated elsewhere, communication was not the best, but if you are patient the service is excellent. My total repair time was about 3 weeks including the Christmas holiday period. No complaints here. I will definitely use Dwight again if I need to.

Music to my ears

Apple said I would need to replace my 1st gen HomePod which had died totally, so I sent it to Dwight, It came back 2 weeks later in full working sounding as good as new, happy days!

Just be patient

HomePod is as good as new. Took about 6 weeks with no updates (other than request to pay) or response to email but came through in the end and v. happy. I was worried for a while but I would use again and recommend.

As Good As New

After searching a while for a decent HomePod repairer in the UK, I stumbled up HomePod Repairs. After reading the reviews and contacting Dwight sent off my HP. As it being an original wanted it the way it was.
I received the HP back, unpacked and plugged it. It was all working as it used to and had its voice. Updated to version 17 and reintegrated back into the fold.
Can’t thank Dwight enough for breaking “life” back into the HP and for giving it an MOT and “car wash” also.
Throughout there was no problem with emailing for updates, etc.
So once again a Big Thank You Dwight for your experience.

SCAM: Company has gone Ghost...on me

I sent out my homepod 6 weeks ago, for the 1st few interactions it was fine until I paid the money and expected Dwight to send me the homepod back. So far I have sent 6 emails and tried calling the phone number which is now switched off, requesting a reply or update.

I was willing to take the risk since there is no reputation other than trust pilot reviews.

So I am right now 100 GBP and a homepod less than where I was 6 weeks ago.

Fantastic HomePod repair service - highly recommended

When my original Homepod suddenly stopped working I was disappointed that an Apple product would fail so quickly and even more disappointed with Apple to discover that it’s a really common problem, also, just to put the boot in Apple charge almost as much as a new unit to fix it! I thought I’d been left with a very expensive doorstop.

However, Dwight from homepodrepairs.co.uk came to rescue and just a week after they received my faulty unit it had been repaired and returned to me as good as new. In fact, it is better than new because not only had the initial problem with lack of power been fixed, other known faults that are common with HomePods are also addressed as part of the service.

This service is efficient and highly recommended. First class.

Amazing service

Amazing service.
I put my seemingly broken OG HomePod [ Apple Repair quoting £256 ] on e-bay for a £1 for parts and Dwight enquired if I would be interested in a fix. What have i got to lose I thought, so sent through to HomePod Repairs and Dwight confirmed he could fix it and Home Pod back within 10 days sounding absolutely amazing. Very competitively priced repair as well. Highly recommended - I three OG HomePods and want to keep them running for as long as possible so if I have further issues with my other pair I will send to Dwight. A genuinely brilliant bespoke service

Apple is the problem here.

We have all been offered no service by Apple. A 3-year old product should not fail. Their solution £255 cost. I wrote to Tim Cook( tcook at apple.com )who passed it on to UK Customer Service who were no help! The Gen. 1 HomePod has problems but Apple hide behind their "policy". What would it take to offer some real service to loyal customers? I bet you all have multiple Apple products not just a HomePod.

Really good service

Really good service, easy to get my 1st gen HomePod sent and returned. It looks and sounds like new. Much better to get one you own serviced and repaired than buy one secondhand (as I did) only to find that they pack up a couple of months later!

Absolutely made my year!

Absolutely made my year!
If you’re like me, I love Apple, and I love my HomePods… I’ve got 10 of them dotted around the home, including a few stereo pairs. A while ago, unfortunately, 2 of my original HomePods decided to stop working on the same day. I’ve read rumours online that Apple’s firmware updates can sometimes do this to some HomePods. I was pretty upset as they’re expensive pieces of kit, out of warranty and at the time, Apple had discontinued making the large HomePods. Apple do however continue to produce the original HomePods for situations just like mine, and offered a “replacement service” for which you’ll have to stump up £299. Hardly a replacement and more of a “buy a new one”. There was no reasoning with Apple due to the out of warranty. Deflated, it took a while to seek out an alternative solution, and then I stumbled across Dwight & his team. Having made contact, it all sounded to good to be true, and having been stung online before I was apprehensive to ship these HomePods off, but as they were broken, I thought the worst is that I don’t see them again. Then when Dwight contacted to say they were fixed and asked for payment, I was again nervous, but I bit the bullet and sent the money. I’ve since had my HomePods delivered back to me and have been testing them out over the last 4 weeks or so, and they are absolutely spot on!! Dwight & team, a huge thank you for helping me to “Get the Party Started” again. All the best, James

Dwight puts Apple to shame!!!

When my HomePod Gen 1 stopped working, I booked an appointment with Apple at Lakeside to see if it could be fixed. Unfortunately, this proved to be a waste of time as a gentleman in the store plugged it in, stared at it, unplugged it and quoted me £299 for a replacement. When I got home, I phoned Apple to complain about my experience and was told they were only sorry for the way I felt and that there was nothing they could do as all HomePods are unable to be disassembled and fixed.

So I decided to research a third party repair company and found Dwight who sent me his details so I could ship the HomePod over to him. Three days after sending it, he contacted me again to let me know the repair was complete! I received it back in good time and it now works a treat! What really impressed me was how I cannot see any scratches or dents where he may have used tools to take it to pieces. I literally have no idea how he managed to take it apart!

So if your HomePod is broken, don’t bother calling Apple for help. They will only make up excuses and open their hands to more of your money. Instead, use Dwight to fix your HomePod for a fraction of the price. He is able to do what a 3 trillion dollar company can’t - and do it amazingly too. Apple really could learn a few lessons from this guy. Well done Dwight and shame on you Apple!

My HomePod is Back!!!

When my HomePod wouldn’t come on I was devastated. I searched online and came across HomePod Repairs. Shipped it off to them and within a few weeks it was back. And all the things I’ve loved about the HomePod are intact.

I’m so grateful to Dwight because I wasn’t willing to let my OG HomePod go. Now I’m back to enjoying my podcasts and premium sound. 👌🏾👌🏾

The Real Deal

Only one very small negative, Dwight needs a secretary to answer his emails 😉😊..however, everything else, the workmanship, turnaround time, and repair cost was just brilliant. DONT EVER throw your HomePod in the trash when it one day turns into an expensive brick & don't let Apple rinse you with their eye-watering repair cost. Dwight is no joke, he is the real deal..and worth every penny ..Bravo

Dwight is a wizard!

I've just plugged our previously dead HomePod in, and it's back! It's glorious! And it's all down to Dwight's bewilderingly capable hardware skills.

For me, our HomePod isn't just a dumb thing that sits in the corner playing music. It's by far the best HiFi I've ever owned, or anyone in my family has ever owned. It's daft, but it's kind of emotional! I want it to keep working for a long time.

When it stopped working still in its prime, it was a real downer. Apple offered to replace it for the price of a new unit from some reserved stock. I wasn't keen on that if it'll just fail after a few years as too.

What Dwight's done, for a fraction of the cost, is make our HomePod better than new. He's taken out its broken parts, as well as all of the parts that are known to frequently fail. He's replaced all those components with new and rock solid reliable equivalents. It's like getting back a venerable classic car serviced with an all new electric drive train: totally reliable and more powerful.

This isn't just a HomePod any more. This is a battle toughened HomePod. It's a hot-rod HomePod. It's Gandalf the White HomePod. It's a better-than-new machine, and it's rocking.

The world needs much more of this kind of awesome repair work to keep brilliant things alive. Thanks Dwight. You are the man.

Excellent service for Apple HomePod repairs

I’m absolutely delighted with the excellent service I received from Dwight at HomePod repairs.

Apple quoted £255 to repair my dead HomePod & I was considering throwing it away. However, I found some very good reviews on trust pilot & decided to give Dwight a try.

I’m so pleased that I did as Dwight repaired my HomePod for £110 including return postage and it’s come back BETTER than new! I’m thrilled with the outcome, thank you Dwight.
