We have been having some damp on the wall of my son bedroom adjacent to the shower / your engineer came around took only few minutes to get to the conclusion that the damp was due to the poor sealant around the shower (in my opinion it was not poor - and I actually saw the engineer using a cutter knife himsel to make it poor). He booked somebody to come around to reseal the shower a few days later. It happened to be that I had some builders around who were doing some external work and I told them my issue - they disagreed with the homeserve engineer as the damage on the wall was bad and pulled the skirting off the wall to find out that it was all wet clear sign that it was not a sealant issue. They offered to help to investigate the issue and booked some time to work on that. At that point I rang homeserve to advise what was happening and asked to send another engineer around on the same day as the building were doing the investigation. by the time the engineer came the builder had digged it all out / taken off the shower plate and identified the issue. The homeserve engineer simply took some additional tiles off and capped the pipes which were regarded as not repairable - however, the hard work and the investigation work was done by the builders that will be invoicing me for it - homeserve didn't help when needed

Not forgetting, efficient. They did a great job. They also did the following, where necessary: explained, clarified and reassured.
Our thanks

I cannot recommend HomeServe highly enough. From the moment I called customer services to report a leak, the process was excellent. An engineer was with me within 45 minutes. Neil was professional, efficient, and quickly identified and fixed the problem. Thank you to Neil and the entire HomeServe team for such a prompt and reliable service, it was very much appreciated.

THE LADY ON THE PHONE KATIE, WAS VERY HELPFUL, BUT I WAS VERY UPSET WITH THE ENGINEER, FIRS OF I RANG HIM SO MANY TIMES, TEXT HIM WHEN &WHAT TIME HE WILL BE COMING, NO REPLY FROM HIM, ONCE HE CAME HE ONLY TOOK APPROXIMATELY 10- 15 MINUTES AND SAID NO LEAKS, I STILL HAVE THE WALL WET, NOT VERY HAPPY, I WOULD BE GREAT FULL IF YOU COULD SEND A DIFFERENT ENGINEER TO LOOK AT THE JOB.

The engineer knows his job and was very smart about the way he went about it.
Very easy going guy, communicated well and carried us along and was explaining what the issue is and when I asked him a further question after his job he answered that very well. He gave an advice on how we can maintain it and avoid similar issues any time soon. He was a solid guy and good professional. I’d score him 11 out of 10 easily
