Fake spammers bombarding Facebook with false reviews .

These are unscrupulous marketeers who buy stolen list data - yes, this is where your data ends up when you join less-than-reputable sites!

Honest Quotes are there to promote anything and everything as long as the make money by using them. They promote all that is bad for the consumer. Please read all the reviews and make up you own mind, personally I would never ever use them.

Fake company. Spamming Facebook with fake posts with comments disabled.
Have given them fake details to waste their time should they ever decide to call or sell my details on...

They spam Facebook groups with automated "conversations", the whole site is set up to suck personal data which is then sold off without consent. They even have a green Trustpilot "5 stars" image on the site, which is clearly not a reflection of reality. Awful.

Promised a call back - never happened. That says it all for the customer service experience.

I arranged a visit via honest quote for solar panels. All was well until the installer got in touch and said my girlfriend needed to be at the appointment. I said that wasn’t really possible because of work commitments. They basically said they didn’t want my business then. Why did my girlfriend need to be here? This isn’t even her house. It’s my house. Honest quote then gif in touch saying solar panels aren’t really worth it if you’re planning on selling it within 5 years. I said I’m not planning on selling it in 5 years. I haven’t heard anything back from them since. Ridiculous.

They tricked people (like me) through "review on local Facebook site" and once you provided them with your contact details, it did not give you any quotes but you provide an "auto consent" to them to pass along your contact details to spammers..

Avoid at all cost.

I am making a compliant to Information Commission's Office as their contact email on privacy notice ( compliance at honest-quotes.co.uk) is fake. My email to request withdraw of consent and removal of information was not sent through.

They literally do not stop badgering you. I've blocked multiple numbers they have called me from, reported and blocked emails over the space of months now, and when I made it clear again today that I didn't want anything to do with them they asked why, I said I'm not interested and asked them to stop contacting me and how I've been contacted a lot, so they then argued that they haven't ever called me before, which is an outright lie.
Avoid this company at all costs.

Have to love the irony that a company calling itself "honestquotes" engages in the underhand, disingenuous, generally morally bankrupt marketing method of good old fashioned spam.

Honest quotes used a clickbait for funded solar panels when this was not a possibility.

The installers we were put in touch with were aggressive.

Would not recommend HonestQuotes or their installers.

Avoid contact with this company.

They obtained my details and now regularly spam me via email, text and phone calls. They refuse to remove contact details and won't respond to correspondence.

Absolutely disgusting company.

Currently in the process of reporting this organisation via the Information Commissioner's Oifice for breach of data regulations and issuing a claim in the Small Claims Court.

They got my details on response to adverts claiming to carry out local government grant work but they only carry out paid work and their costs are ridiculously expensive.

NEVER GIVE THEM YOUR CONTACT DETAILS

Avoid, picked up and said i wasn't interested at the moment not even a bye lol they just hung up, having read these reviews they aren't a company id want to deal with anyway.

Facebook spamming, misinformation

Booked an appointment, twice. For the rep to call on both occasions to say that he has looked on Google Earth and it is not worth putting solar panels on the roof.
Both appointments cancelled 10 minutes before they were expected to arrive. Have the decency to plan your bookings and look days before to avoid a total cockup.......
How can it be alright when your office books the appointment and say it is acceptable for then the buffoon of a rep to say 10 minutes before arrival to say it isnt.
Useless company, useless rep.

Misleading website.

On the Google search page, under the Honest Quotes header, it said I could compare solar panel costs in the UK in under a minute. Next thing I know I'm on a call list and getting emails from random companies. That's a downright slimy way to do business.

If we're signing up to a call or email list you could at least have the decency to specify that, at least.

Massive scammers. Blocked and reported.

This firm is using the same dishonest technique that the scammers are using from abroad.
They’re spamming all the local Facebook pages by dishonestly creating or taking over multiple identities by phishing scam techniques and then using those identities to have a brief conversation between 3 people about how good their experience of this solar quoting firm is.

Comments are closed so people can only see the 3 comments which then contains the link to this lead generation website, and can’t comment to help other realise this is no better than a scam.

No more than the dirty scammers that try to rob people of their money.
