This company is spamming Facebook local selling groups with links. They use multiple accounts to post fake conversations. Claiming solar can save 70% of anyones electricity bill is just plain dishonest. Please avoid these cowboys.

Booked a meeting, "evaluator" never showed up or bothered to call, then continued to get spammed for days. Just got a text 1.15 am. Blacklisted. Should you continue to bug me will have to report harassment. Stay away.

The irony in using the word “Honest” should be somewhat amusing yet it truly is not.
The constant texts which always start Hi Jo, are relentless. This company knows exactly what they are doing when they continue to hassle people and clearly the negativity it creates is of no consequence.
Should I ever be in the market for solar panels this company would absolutely not be considered.
This practice needs to be seriously addressed by Trading Standards and the company officially exposed.

They come up with "suspected spam" warning on my phone. Every few months they phone wanting to speak to "insert random name". At best, it's a cold call sales tactic, at worst it's an actual scam. I suggest you keep a whistle handy next to the phone to stop people like this.
UPDATE: The below response is total rubbish. There are umpteen folk on here complaining they have been cold called. The fact my phone provider flags it as spam is pretty telling. No, I most certainly don't want to email them my details as no doubt they'd sell them to other rogue companies.

CRIMINALLY FRAUDULENT COMPANY

I enquired about Grant funding through my local Council. This company rang me and, after a telephone discussion, they confirmed they'd obtained £1500 Grant funding and were calling to arrange a property survey.

Surveyor never turned up. It appears they're just out to rip off Councils for easy money, because the Grants aren't repayable so there's no comeback on them.

ABSOLUTELY SHOCKING THAT SUCH A COMPANY CAN CONTINUE DEFRAUDING THE TAX PAYER SO EASILY.

THEY'VE BEEN REPORTED TO THE COUNCIL AND POLICE (NCA).

Company responded to this review and claims to have only had one contact from me but still continue to regularly harass me with unwanted calls, texts and emails.

Wow, cold call from HonestQuote to try to sell me solar panels, and I was very keen to get an onsite assessment and engaged in the conversation. however, as soon as the person learnt that it is a buy-to-let property and it is the tenant that will be benefiting from the property, as I was explaining to him how I don't care about benefiting directly from the energy savings and just wanted to upgrade the house to a renewable energy source, he just hung up on me for absolutely no reasons???? Terrible experience, will most definitely not getting the solar panels from these guys now for sure lol and will not recommend others neither.

I had a call with an agent about solar panels and I didn't feel I was well enough informed and the virtual meeting on Zoom wasn't very good as the quality of the call was poor. That could have been a problem on my side but I still felt less informed than I should have been. I later received a call from someone who wanted to know how my meeting had gone. I explained what I thought and she was very helpful and said she was going to arrange another call with a team leader and see if they could get the quote I had been given originally down and be helped by someone with more experience. She was very accommodating and was definitely trying to rectify the situation. We shall see.

I made a enquiry about solar panels and spoke to a lady called Toni.
I was relieved that there was no hard sell involved and Toni took the time to listen to and answer my questions in an honest and professional manner.

After being initially let down as described in my previous review I foolishly let Honest quotes to attempt to rectify the situation through an online meeting. We received numerous texts confirming the meeting, answered their phone call to confirm and then dialled in.

No one there for my 6pm meeting so 20 minutes late and counting. Don't bother dialling in now, your company is a complete and utter shambles.

This must be on purpose as some kind of wind up as it is just not possible to be this bad. If he were still alive, I'd be expecting Jeremy Beadle to pop up with a camera.

Please don't waste any of your time on this company.

The gentleman was really helpful when he called me. I had already bought solar panels and a backup battery last year. He still continued to chat and help me with a no. to call for maintenance and advice.

Filled out a form regarding solar panels last year just to see the price, got a called back and said it was too expensive and I'm not interested.
I've now been getting calls once or twice a week for the past year from them. I've had to block several of their numbers and yet, they STILL call. Regret ever giving them my information

I was contacted by phone regarding solar panels. I was getting quotes from two other companies but had no recall of Honest Quotes. They insisted I had completed an enquiry so I decided to proceed and they set me up with Solar Fast. That did not go well.
I still believe this call was unsolicited so am suspicious.

So rude and cocky when I told them I wasn't interested he got cocky and put tge phone down..I called them back and told them what I thought ..A bloody nuisance wouldn't touch with a barge pole

Spoke to Toni in regard to solar panels, she was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions and even told me the reason as to why i couldn't get panels.

Found this company online when I was looking for a quote for solar panels. I couldn’t end up getting them in the end but that’s not their fault my home wasn’t suitable for them. Staff are knowledgable & answered all my questions. Would recommend.

Spoke to Lewis who was incredibly informative and helpful with information that I needed to make an informed choice.

Went to honest quotes website filled in details and spoke to simian, he called back within minutes and discussed the ins and outs now have someone coming round in a few weeks to talk through pricing and installation, great service top marks x
