Hoover Breeze/Evo review.
Ive just bought a Hoover Breeze/Evo from B & M for £69, cheaper than Argos or the Hoover website by £10.
I'd consider it to be an upper budget stand up vacuum cleaner.
It picks up well, light to use once youve selected the correct height for your floor or carpet. It's light weight for a stand up vacuum cleaner, around 5kg. Easily reaches 13 steps with its long hose reach. It's quiet, too. Easy to empty, no bags, easy to clean filters, too. Not a very deep head, so easy to vacuum under my sofa. Has a 3 litre dust bin, fills quickly.
Margional negatives, power cable slighlty too short at 7 meters, could do with being 9 meters long, also you have a short area to wind it up around on.
You must take the factory brush strip off it at the back, that makes it harder to push, easily removed. Makes no difference to its pick up abilities. Glides far better without it. Also don't fit the second supplied one, either.
For the money (£69), it works very well. Great for a medium sized home with mixed flooring. Ideal for once a day vacuuming of the home.

My old hoover had broken down
My old hoover had broken down. Looked on hoover website. I chose HP320 pet cylinder H- Power 300.It seemed to tick all the boxes i was looking for.Was right price as was on sale. I have up to 30days to pay on Klarna
I got it delivered within 2 days.
It was easy ta assemble and very easy to use on every surface no more stretching to places i cant reach and everything clean. Bin is easy to empty. I highly reccomend it.

Bought for a gift. once opened turned out it wouldn't charge. Support initially responsive but questions have now spread over 3 days and ongoing before any solution offered so will be returning item for refund and go for a different brand.. Feels like a deliberate strategy to stretch the timeline to avoid a return option..

Hoover helpline… updated
I called the Hoover number on my appliance to order a spare part which was not listed on their website. They clearly have no humans available and the automated AI voice cannot understand, even when spelled phonetically. All in all a waste of time.
After slating their customer service on here I followed the link on the reply. To be fair within 24 hours they had sorted the original problem, so I've gone from a 1 star to a 3 star review. A shame they a) out source their spares dept who don't reply as quickly and b) use the social media team to sort out customer service. Hopefully they will take feedback on board.

Awful product durability and after-sales service
I left a 5-star review last year when we bought the H-WASH350 washing machine and had it installed and registered it for warranty - that was all fine. However, after 11 months, the machine has broken down and we have discovered that the Hoover 1-year manufacturer warranty is completely devoid of value. A quick summary: 1- when calling to book a repair, it takes hours to get through a system that is designed to get rid of customers, 2- after finally getting through to a person, they explained that the manufacturer warranty doesn't actually cover much and I need to buy "cover" from Domestic&General to make sure the work is not charged and also just to get an engineer visit slot!, 3- you are initially given a visit day and not a timeslot and the lead time is over a week, 4- you are told the timeslot the night before and we discovered that they always offer 7am-9am as they know that most working people cannot make this slot and will have to reschedule - multiple attempts at rebooking simply push out the visit date and repeat the loop again - meanwhile the washing machine is left not working for weeks.
So beware: the machine did not last a year, the 1-year warranty is meaningless and the after-sales service is simply a way of selling you insurance with no attempt to fix the fault.
We are very disappointed and will not be buying Haier/Hoover/related products and especially not buying direct - we should have paid heed to all the 1-star reviews and I am sure we would all give zero stars if we could.

New Hoover Washing Machine broke down
I bought a new Hoover Washing Machine last November. It broke down 7 months later and needs a new mother board apparently. Mechanic came within a couple of days but once he discovered the fault had to order the part and we have to wait another 6 days for him to come back. Ridiculous on a new machine. After their response below, I sent them an email but they just replied with an AI generated response telling me what I already knew.
