The cushion was delivered in good time. It helps greatly with my comfort, and tendency to develop pressure sores, as I now have to sit for long periods due to lack of mobility. It is quite easy to set... See more

Like sleeping on a cloud, life changing
I was suffering severe neck and head pain after a head injury and needed a pillow that would support but not cause pressure. This pillow was a life changer in first night. Been using it for about two weeks now and I wake up pain free but best of all having had a full. Nights sleep.

The pressure cushion arrived in good time. Was a bit disappointed with the thickness of it though. One I got previously is about an inch thicker
Excellent service and quality product.
Guard rails
Delighted with padded guard rails purchased for my elderly father who has dementia and was getting his legs and arms stuck in the supplied hospital bed for palliative care and support
pressure relief cushion
I ordered a pressure relief cushion and would definitely recommend. The item was as described and I am very pleased with it. I also filled in the VAT relief section, this was dealt with quite quickly and I have since received the refund for this.
The only negative was the printed words across the cushion say PROPERTY OF NHS which obviously it is not! I know they supply them with these cushions but if they are prepared to sell them to the public they need to make some without those words on & yes I know it was on the description of the item but feel that if we're prepared to pay these prices for the goods then it should definitely be a consideration. Hence only 4*'s not 5*'s
Highly recommend

My daughter purchased the Ultimate…
My daughter purchased the Ultimate Healthcare Ultra-Cline Pressure Relief Rise Recliner Cushion Set priced at £166.66. This item non returnable unless it has a fault in manufacture.
It was ordered on the 25/8/2024 and apart from an immediate automatic confirmation of order my daughter heard nothing more. She telephoned the company on the 29/8/2024 to find out when delivery would be and was informed that they would check with the warehouse but could not give her any delivery data. At 14:55 on the 29/8/2024 she received an email informing her the item would be delivered between 16:39 and 17:39 the same day. It was extremely lucky that there was someone home to take delivery at such short notice.
My daughter bought the cushion set because it said it was for riser recliner chairs and assumed it would fit hers but it didn't. When I looked at the fitting instructions the first thing I noticed was the pressure distribution map which had used an 82kg male as demonstration for a cushion suitable for up to 159kg and of course since my daughter is 146kg the seat cushion just flattened giving no support at all.
The next thing I noticed was that the cushion set was more suitable for a Petite style of riser recliner chairs and absolutely no use on my daughter's chair. My thoughts are that this item needs to be more clearly advertised with more specific description of what chairs it will fit.
My daughter accepted that she had wasted the £166.66 and could not return the cushion set but would write a product review on the company's website giving the item a one star and advising future prospective customers to ensure it would fit their specific chair and weight requirements.
This review how disappeared and does not appear under the item on the Website, in fact there are NO REVIEWS about this product at all.
I leave future prospective customers of this company to make up their own mind on its Website, products and customer service.
Further to the standard response from hospital beds.co.uk which from its language and terminology leaves me wondering whether it was written by a human or is in fact a 'BOT' response.
Whilst I agree the package was delivered within the time span specified on the website, I still would have expected my daughter to have been emailed information regarding carrier/tracking information much sooner than 2 hours before delivery on the day it arrived.
Dimensions are available on line but the information on the website implies the product is suitable for any riser recliner chair so maybe more specific data needs to be given. As it stands, in my opinion, there is an element of lack of information which can lead to mis-selling.
My daughter did leave a 1 star review under the product page on the website but it was not published. My daughter thought that reviews might have to be scrutinized by hospital beds.co.uk staff for approval before acceptance and publication.
Finally, whilst I appreciate the response from Victor at hospital beds.co.uk, it has not changed my belief that this is a 1 star company whose product descriptions and customer service are sadly lacking but I leave future customers to make up their own minds.

Quick delivery, easy to order
This is my second purchase from this company and as the order I had before was quickly delivered and was easy to order, I decided to order from them again.
