This is our third purchase of equipment…

This is our third purchase of equipment from HOST. The delivery service made some mistakes, but HOST made very good on them, and although it took 8 days to get our items, they went out of their way to make up for the issues with unpacking and placement by their efficient and lovely team. I would love HOST to offer this service at an additional cost, because i would have paid for it to begin with. I need more equipment, and HOST is definitely my go to, and will continue to be. WELL DONE for making a difficult and stressful delivery into a breeze!

Delivery was quicker than expected

Delivery was quicker than expected. Always good for us up in the Highlands.
Fridge and freezer were packed really well, look great and work very well considering the price.
Would happily buy again.
If I had to give a mark down it would probably be about the website. It's not the easiest to navigate or look at.

Updated; it didnt last a year

UPDATE!! Host microwave and mixer.
Unfortunately the microwave stopped working in less than 8 months. I only use it to make porridge and heat up the odd item so it hasnt been used for commercial purposes. Lesson learnt that looks arent everything. I actually have no money to buy a new one and, eventhough less than a year old, im told it is only covered for parts,
Email I recieved stated: .If you wish to go ahead, then an upfront payment of £69.99 is required. This covers the initial inspection, including 30 mins labour and the return of your unit back to you. Any simple repairs will be done in this time if it is possible.
You will be required to arrange your own return, at your own cost, with a courier of your choice, to our warehouse in Bristol.If it is, then we will raise a quote for the total amount of labour, £25 +vat for every 30 mins, and any parts needed for the repair. Please look out for an email from us with the update.
SO BEWARE. Really loved my items but never again!!

After looking for hours for something a bit different to go with my quirky taste (I have a disco ball, neon sign, and dj decks in the kitchen lol) these popped up in a google search. (I think my search was non black and quirky lol) Not only did I love the style and colour, they were also catering quality so thought they may last better lol. The price was fab too and they really are robust. There is nothing I havent liked. So after the two years of getting my kitchen finished, all the boxes were opened at the end of December and these appliances really are a main part of my day. (Biscuit making reminded me to send this gratitude post) I’m looking at the ice cream maker next lol. Delivered in super fast time, well packaged. Instructions included (rather than having to find online!)

Worst logistic and admin. ever

I ordered 2 warmer on the their web last month and got the confirmation email immediately. However, there are no information about date and time of the delivery.

10days later, I got a delivery sms at 7:00am and noted delivery will arrive the shop at 9:50am. I rushed to the shop after sending children school. I arrived at 9:30am and wait whole day long till 6:00pm! No show, no call, no message.

The day after I send a email to HOST and track my delivery, few days later, they reply the logistic company tried deliver twice and waited 45mins. So they will charge me £50. For return the items.

After few more email communication, they rearrange the delivery. I need to stay and wait from 07:00 to 18:00.

Finally, I received only 1 warmer!!! I tracked by email, HOST reply I have already cancel the other warmer and refunded to me. However, there are no refunds yet. I am still waiting....

I am so disappointed and it's a nightmare for a month. I wish I can get the refund soon.

Not impressed

Not impressed , ordered two items and only one arrived , no phone number to call them so they obviously hiding with no customer service department - I’ve sent them 3 contact messages through their website - wish I had never dealt with such a un professional outfit - should have known as soon as I realised there is no phone number on their web site ! AVOID

Be very careful if ordering from this company read the latest reviews, they sent me a faulty fridge but as it was for a bar renovation that wasn’t complete I hadn’t used it. once the bar was ready a few months later we turned it on and it did not work at all, contacted them and they state I only chose to have a parts only warranty? Didn’t even know this was a thing?
So basically they sent me a faulty fridge and then say I would have to pay £200 just to get someone Out to look! I was never even aware companies did not offer one year warranties as standard and it definitely was not clear this was parts only at the time of purchase! seeing the other reviews this is how they get you… apparently you have one week to return a faulty item in the original packing? But I’m guessing you had to take the packing off to establish it was faulty in the first place??. Please beware of buying from this company , maybe pay the few extra pounds and get from a company who offer at least the basic 1 year warranty you would expect

We do ask that all items are inspected upon delivery and any damage reported to us within 24 hours, this is so we can feedback to our couriers and resolve any issues swiftly for our customers. Alongside this we do offer a free of charge replacement service if your unit becomes faulty within the first 14 days.

Anything outside of this timeframe would then be looked after by our service partner under the warranty package which you have included on your purchase. They would be able to assist you with parts or engineers as you require.

Recently bought a Host mini fridge

Recently bought a Host mini fridge, it failed after 1 week. Host will not replace saying my warranty is only covered for parts. Ok guess what they want £200 call out fee plus labour.
Fridge cost £145.50.
Horrendous customer service.
The fridge ruined the food in there when on Exercise.

Bought a Host filter coffee machine…

Bought a Host filter coffee machine July 23,it has failed,Will not brew coffee. Contacted them in late January 24 after many phone calls and promises of return phone calls not interest in solving the problem.After explaining the problem I was told a part would arrive within a week, still waiting.i was advised a engineer visit at £200 to identify problem, the machine is not worth that. Diabolical after service and customer support.

Quality product for a fair price…

Bought a toaster from Host and it came quicker than advertised. The product looks and feels premium. The best part was the price was really reasonable for the quality.

Great service and great value

Simple and easy ordering process, freezer was £200 cheaper than the equivalent Polar, but clearly made by the same company. Delivery was on time, clear communication from the driver and they took it straight into the room. It was in perfect condition and is working fine.

Great

Little info on Host online so a bit hesitant on ordering a single induction hot plate. A subsequent 'discount' mail confused the ordering process and had to contact the company to sort it out. The response was polite and efficient and goods arrived promptly and well packaged. The unit is good quality and I would use Host again as first option.

Poor quality item

Poor quality item. The fridge didn't reach less than 16 degree and broke down completely after 3 days of arrival.
It would be nice to get a refund

Badly damaged and we contacted them after the Ts an Cs deadline. None of the fragments from the damage were in the box so it must have been repackaged at some point. They reiterated the Ts and Cs but no good will there.
