Excellent experience. We ordered a stainless steel table from Host. It arrived next day and the quality was very good. We'd already ordered the item from another supplier who let us down so we were very grateful to find this company as it was needed urgently. Only charged £12 for the next day service which I thought was very reasonable.

Best vaccuum sealer
This is by far the best vaccuum sealer machine we have owned. Used for bulk freezing of home grown and batch cooked meals. Looks well built and like it will last for a very long time in a domestic environment, unlike others we have tried. Excellent communication - company answered any queries we had prior to ordering. Very happy with both the company and the machine and will look forward to using Host for other products in the future.

Host the online business that operates Monday to Friday, 9 am till 4 pm. A web chat that’s unmanned. On Friday 25th August 2023 i mistakenly placed an order on a fridge instead of the freezer. All the listings were identical. During the August bank holiday it impossible to reached anyone to correct my mistakes , the so called web chat is automated no reply. Finally on Tuesday 29th August i got a reply that the fridge has already been dispatched, if i cancel there is a charge of £50 courier return fees plus 20% restocking fees.
I paid £694.80 for the fridge, i didn’t have my refund until 20 days after on 14th September after getting pay pal involved.
I got a refund of £495.84 , please do the maths 694.80 – 50 – 20%
RIP off Host...my refund should have be £505.84 ...THINK TWICE BEFORE YOU PLACE YOUR ORDER.

We do offer a manned webchat service between 9am and 4pm Monday to Friday. We don’t use bots or automation with our webchat - so outside of our operating hours, any messages we receive are then responded to in person, as soon as we can.
We are a low cost website, and in order to keep our prices low, we do unfortunately need to pass on some costs to our customers – including restocking fees, and the cost or the courier returning unwanted units – these fees are explained on our website
As your request to cancel was received outside of our free cancellation window - and the unit was already with our delivery partner on its way to you, it was subject to a 20% restocking fee charged on the cost of the unit and £50 courier return fee, as explained in our terms and conditions. These fees were correctly deducted, and your refund processed.
We do agree that there was an unacceptable delay in the time it took to process your refund – and we are really sorry for this. We have now investigated this internally to understand what went wrong, and have made changes to stop this sort of delay happening again in the future.
Thank you for your patience whilst this was processed – if you do have any further issues, please don’t hesitate to get in touch directly.

Host Electric Airpot 4.7L
I can only speak as I find. We ordered the Airpot to replace a similar item that had worn out. The appliance heats water and keeps it at temperature for instant tea and coffee. We find it very useful. The appliance appears well made and delivery was smooth. They do say that you must be in to receive it, which we were.

We placed an order for a fridge to be delivered, but wanted to have it arrive on a specific day (I gave over a weeks notice) to ensure someone was home to accept delivery after being let down by another appliance company. Delivery arrived on the day requested and set up in the requested room. Great service, we would use them again in the future.

I can see that your order was placed on 15th August, and delivery was attempted on the 21st - within the 3-5 working day delivery promise - but unfortunately was unsuccessful.
At Host we pride ourselves on being able to offer very competitive prices - but can only do this by charging for redelivery if delivery has failed, and a restocking fee and carrier return charge if you decide to cancel the order.
