I have never left a bad review in my life. But here I just couldn't resist it. I am extremely disappointed that I have been misleaded. The reviews on booking.com and agoda.com are not realistic. In this hotel payment method by card does not exist, we are in the 21st century and it is four stars hotel. The room they provided to us was on the Ground floor and when you open the door to the outside terrace what you can see...? construction workers every day, noise, dust and etc. I had specifically requested a quiet room upon my booking! During the day the workers was to noisy , during the night from the neighbouring hotels/disco clubs loud music until 2:00am. NIGHTMARE!!! For the entire period of stay, we had only few times our room cleaned. Almost every day we didn't have hot water, we ask the reception every day to resolve this issue, after waiting one hour they send handyman who is temporary resolve the problem and the next day same procedure !!! We bathed everyday with lukewarm water. WI-FI is terrible, if you are lucky you can use it after 22:00 hours, because during the rest of the time not even a single site can be open. In the evening I often saw cockroaches in the bathroom. There are signs at the entrance to it does not import anything like food, drinks to me this is absurd. The prices at the pool are 2 or 3 times higher than those at the beach, it's not bad, but at least you have to pay for service, but it is not available at the pool, we waited for our drinks about 50 minutes until we took it ourselves. The staff does not speak English except at the reception, communication is quite difficult. Sometimes times they were even rude .Overall our experience was a nightmare, the only thing that worked was the breakfast but after seeing the cockroaches and our room was over the kitchen we decide to stop using completely the service at the hotel !!!
what an absolute dump , the smell of urine is revolting , half raw cooked food , even when cooked fully it was still uneatable , extremely rude staff who are basically just scammers who over charge and short change you at every opportunity. unable to sleep until the loud music stops after 4am every night from the nite club next door, a double room which was two single beds shoved together ,, shower leaked {actually flooded} the bathroom floor , toilet not screwed down to the floor . the glasses , plates cutlery, even the ash trays are filthy . worse of all is the fake smile of the staff and how nice they pretend to be , when actually all they are, are robbing so and so,s . will never go back !

I’ve just got back from this hotel booked for 8 days from the 27/07 - 5/08. We arrived at 11:30pm with 2 very tired children. As we got into the hotel 3 rude and unwelcoming receptionists demanded we pay tourist tax or no keys to the hotel room! We thought our package covered this cost. So forced to pay we were given the key cards and that was it no help carrying bags not even offered! The room we got put in was tiny for 2 adults and 2 children also no balcony as shown on the pictures. Terrible sleep kept awake all night with all the noise from the bars and clubs, music playing and motorcycles coming and going none stop. The next morning we requested to move rooms. We got moved to a much better room with a balcony or so I thought! The rest of the 7 days in the room was horrendous each night we would be woken up by rats in the vents above one of the beds!!! We spoke to the staff numerous times a man eventually came to have a look at that was it! When in the shower all the water leaked out onto the bathroom floor. Bed sheets had stains on them even when changed. Food was disgusting, no food labels in English all in French. Pool was dirty. Ended catching a stomach bug. Weather rubbish! Worst holiday ever!!!!
A perfect welcome, very nice hotel, the rooms are very clean and the staff very friendly.

We had read mixed reviews before booking, so we were slightly apprehensive for our stay. I’ve never left a bad review for anywhere or at least try to keep it balanced but the start to our stay was disappointing at hotel Argana, we’d emailed about airport transfers with flight times ect , when we arrived there was no one there, had to sort our own taxi at midnight-we complained at the desk and the problem was never resolved.
We got there and they gave us the wrong room , we booked a double with a sea view& balcony , the room we were given was nothing like the photos on booking, it was outdated, had 3 single beds, (not much use for me and my husband) was by the busy and noisy road, the air con didn’t work and only half the lights worked, we went back to reception to complain who said they ‘were having problems with rooms tonight’ and to come back at breakfast for an ‘upgrade’. Also the door didn’t lock upon leaving the room, nothing was done about this. It was 1am at this point so we had an awful night sleep in a hot, noisy room. Went back to reception the next morning and were told we could have a ‘superior room’ like they were doing us a favour -when in fact this is what we actually had booked. The receptionist said ‘the room you are in is old and not as nice, we’ll give you a renovated one’. We had to wait until 2pm for the room.
So we went spent the day by the pool while we waited , the hotel is undergoing construction work and there was hammering, drilling and banging around the pool and in the building all day until 9pm at night -on top of already being tired and let down -it was not relaxing.
While at reception we heard other guests complaining of the exact same problem of not having the room they paid for.
Breakfast was good, lots of choice , but dinner was just okay, definitely go outside the hotel for authentic Moroccan food.
The staff at the pool bar were lovely but the cocktails on the list did not match up with what you received, not the right ingredients were put into them -what you ordered wasn’t what you got.
The staff work really hard to keep the hotel clean and the maids did an excellent job of room service. It’s also easy to organise trips /experiences through the hotel.
There is a night club right outside the hotel and depending on where you are in the hotel you can hear this into the night. And the doors to the balcony do not block out noise from the evening entertainment or the hotel next door (or the constant noise from the concrete breaker).
The beach is further away than anticipated and is a slight hill on the way back and the hotel is more on the road than the seafront.
While we understand renovations need to be done at some point, and appreciate they were doing this to improve the hotel-it had a big impact on our 4 night stay -there was a sign to say work was 11am -5pm, these times were not stuck to. Perhaps we had been given the room we payed for from the start my review would have been better.
Having looked now at the bad reviews -I see they have done this many times to other guests

The Argana Agadir Hotel is a first-class establishment located in the center of this charming city of Agadir. This hotel is renowned for its excellent service, superior facilities and proximity to the area's most popular attractions. And that's true . We are a few minutes from the Marina, the large Souk El Had and the new Cable Car.
The hotel's rooms are elegant, spacious and comfortable, and offer everything necessary for a quality stay. Each room is equipped with a flat-screen TV, minibar, safe and private bathroom. In addition, most rooms offer panoramic views of the sea or the hotel gardens. The housekeepers take great care to ensure that everything is clean and tidy. Everything you need to make your stay very comfortable.
The Argana Agadir Hotel offers a full range of leisure facilities. Some of the most popular facilities include the outdoor pool, fitness center, spa, and steam room,
another place that is dear to me, especially since the Hammam has just been completely redone. A good Hammam and a good massage make you rejuvenate. Thank you to the hostess Mrs. Siham for the welcome and the good advice.
The hotel's restaurant serves international cuisine as well as Moroccan and Mediterranean specialties. The buffet breakfast is particularly popular, with a wide selection of hot and cold dishes, fresh fruit and drinks.
Finally, the staff at the Argana Agadir hotel, from Reception to baggage handlers, are extremely helpful and welcoming, and are always ready to help their guests with whatever they need.
Overall, this hotel is a great choice for those looking for a quality stay in Agadir, with excellent service and modern facilities, like me. I always feel good there. Every time I leave the hotel, I already think about the next arrival.
Thank you Hotel Argana for everything.

Worse hotel I’ve been to, where do I start, firstly the staff was rude the rooms I paid for wasn’t what I expected, it was terrible, hotel looks old fashioned, food wasn’t great at all my kids had food poisoning, I paid for all-inclusive in the restaurant they charge for water, let alone drinks, only one swimming pool in the hotel, they also charge you for towel, you’re not allowed to bring food into the hotel from outside, and 8am in the morning you can hear construction noise! Agadir was a terrible experience, mainly because of the hotel I wouldn’t recommend anybody going to this disgusting hotel!!!!

Friendly members of staff that try to meet your needs. It helps that they speak multiple languages and the manager was lovely too !
Lovely mural pictures throughout it displaying the beauty of Morocco from city to city.
We had the pleasure of staying in 2 different designed rooms and saw the beauty of both styles. Both rooms had balconies with tables and chair to enjoy the scenery. We were also presented wit mini wash products too.
The room that we settled in was interconnecting with a newly designed bathroom.
Breakfast was nice, we liked their fresh seasonal fruits, m'smen and being able to have eggs or omelette freshly made just how you like it.
Dinner was quite nice as the options change daily which was great.
We had pleasant experiences with the waiters Abdul, Karim, Blair and there was another one that was tall that served me a chilled Sprite just before packing up, however, cannot remember him name.
Nice outdoor bar close to the pool and seating area.
They had a Hamman SPA, however, we didn't have the time to experience it nor the gym.
Local shops and restaurants close by including the Agadir beach.
Came across a leather shop and the owner kindly did my headscarf for me sahara desert style.
The Souk El Had is an experience too with loads to see.
