Long story short, it’s a scam.

They take your money, promise you a room at a low price, and then at the LAST moment tell you the hotel can’t honor that price…

Don’t let them ruin your vacation at the last minute

Took a little long and trick but end result

Booked hotel through hotelwiz as they were the only website that had a room at the hotel we wanted. We paid £130 for the hotel which was non refundable which we understood. However me and my partner then got covid so we couldn’t go, we called hotelwiz who were no help at all they told me that they would try to call the hotel and get me a full refund or a 50% refund but there is no way I can change it to a new day. So they put me on hold for 5 mins then came back and said they didn’t answer I could try and call the hotel if I wanted so that’s what I did. When I got through I asked if they had hotelwiz had tried to call and then said they haven’t had a call in the last hour. After talking to the hotel for a while they agreed to changing the booking to another day but they needed hotelwiz to call them to confirm this. So I contacted hotelwiz again which a man down the phone who spoke very little English just repeatedly told me that he couldn’t change the booking so I tried to tell him all he needed to do was make one call just to say it was okay but he refused to do so. This never got resolved. All they do is take your money and then don’t care at all also the price we payed was above the odds. DON’T USE AT ALL!!

Nice and clean staff very helpful and polite

If I could give zero stars I would. Made a reservation with a credit card for a hotel and then had the 'customer service' people tell me the price was no longer what they had quoted and was now much higher. I cancelled - still waiting on my refund. Trying to contact them and speak to someone is a joke at present - Mastercard beckons. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. THIS IS A RIP-OFF WEBSITE.

Good exelent hotel for the price

This was very easy.

Its complete utter BS!! When u talk to someone they are so rude or they hang up In your face. They never paid the motel for ng booking so the motel then in turn charged me again and it was a considerable about more than what I was already charged on this website. I feel like they are scamming people out of their money.

So far so good. As long as there is no problem checking in.

Nice place to stay while you work

I called the hotel before I made the reservation through HotelWiz to see if there would be any parking charges. On the HotelWiz website they say they Do not charge cancellation fees if you have to cancel. I had to cancel the next day and They told me they would be keeping my money if I cancelled. I called the hotel just to check and they assured me they would not require any compensation on their end for the cancellation. So HotelWiz is just keeping all the money. The reservation is a week away and not last minute. Kind Of Shady.

Low rate and good savings

First, I had to write an email to a generic address, and they called me back. That was he first red flag.

I basically needed to cancel one of 2 nights, well within my cancellation timeline. The agent could not cancel one, and could not keep the other night. He proceeded to tell me that I got a really good deal and I kept changing the dates I was able to cancel, shaving 2 days off my deadline, even saying "if you want to cancel without a hassle"... the whole process was a hassle!!
