It was just a blatant upsell, rather than an easy registering of applicance. Having commissioned based staff dealing with it, is not a good experience.. couldn’t say no thank you enough times.

Phone call to easily register with…

Phone call to easily register with polite, patient adviser. Reason for only 4 stars is for the too long spiel about the extra insurance available and the subsequent unwanted emails, calls to chase this extra insurance, that I do not want. Other than that , excellent service from ordering Hotpoint fridge freezer from Argos, to delivery, unpacking and placing in my kitchen.

Rip off

Was told year manufactures guarantee might not cover the thermostat fault if it’s been caused by electrical surge or power cut and would be charged call out fee, then they tried to sell me extended guarantee.

Easy to register

Te agent was helpful and registation was straightforward. It was spoilt by the push to sign up to a maintenance contract immediately. It woud be more helpful to try to sell this service at 6 or 12 months after delivery
