Excellent service, very professional. Ben at the store was very helpful. Originally we were going to have a gas fire but when they came to inspect there was a problem with our gas piping but instead of saying it wasn’t possible Dan gave us lots of alternative options and told us we could go to showroom and show us the options we could have and we opted for a wood burner which we are very pleased with.

I am really satisfied with the service I received from HotPrice. Neil Coombes could not have been more helpful. I ordered the Dimplex Danesbury Antique Brass Electric fire mid morning on 15th November and it was delivered just after 8 am the next day - excellent and prompt service. I am also pleased to have saved quite a substantial amount on the price by buying from this company.
I would certainly recommend this company.

Not a good product description. Ended up with a slimline fire which was not what we wanted, there was no mention of this in the description.Problems with fitting, again due to an inadequate description online.

We were unaware of any issues until you placed your review.
The fire you have ordered is designed to fit most flue types (subject to depth) however the fire is not considered slimline. All dimensions are clearly displayed on the Dimensions Tab for each fire we sell on our website and the depth on this one is 170mm. The number for our customer service team is also on the website and they are very happy to confirm dimensions. We would always advise our customers to speak to a gas safe engineer prior to purchasing to ensure the fire they are considering is suitable for their home.
We are sorry that you have had some issues whilst installing your fire but hope that these are resolved.

Firstly can I just say that Hannah who works there was very understanding.
-After a problem with the order I changed the fire.. I had no issues with this as it was my fault.
-Fire due to arrive on Thursday so my partner took the day off work, it got to 3'oclock and chased the order. Apparently they had made a mistake and the fire was not getting delivered. 1 days wage down!!
-Fire got arranged to be delivered on Monday and it arrived ON MY DRIVE!
the driver left it on a pallet on my drive in the rain so my partner was housebound again!! No compensation in any form was offered. All in all a terrible experience

We would like to address the negative comments you have left.
When the special order stove you ordered online was ready for delivery, you advised us that you wish to change to an alternative model. We therefore put the original stove into stock and ordered you the other model which obviously added delays to the delivery time due to the time of year as this is the busiest time of year for fire manufacturers.
We apologise for the issue with delivery on Thursday, as soon as were made aware by the delivery company that they weren't going to able to fulfill your delivery that day due to an issue at the warehouse during this very busy time of year, we let you know just after lunchtime.
We are very disappointed regarding your comments that you were surprised and expect compensation for the stove being left on your drive. Our website clearly states on the product page delivery info tab that:
Due to the size/weight of this product, it will be delivered on a pallet. Pallet deliveries will be brought to your front door (subject to access) and you will need to arrange adequate means to take your order into your home. Under normal circumstances this may take 2 people. You will be contacted prior to dispatch to arrange a suitable delivery day. A signature will be required on all deliveries.
This information is also sent as a link on your invoice plus you were also notified in a separate email detailing specific delivery information the same day you placed your order. All palletised deliveries work in the same way, the driver is not insured to enter your property.
Once again, we apologise for the delivery not being made on the initial day we were advised it would however we do not feel the service we provided when purchasing a discounted stove on the internet deserves the unpleasant, scathing remarks you have put in your review in an attempt to dissuade other customers from purchasing from us.

We bought an electric fire from HotPrice, when we opened it and plugged it in the fire was making a terrible noise and the background was jumping up and down, without turning on the heater we repackaged it and returned it to HotPrice.

I had a requirement for a made to order…
I had a requirement for a made to order fireplace. The lead time was 10 working days but my requirement was 8. Hotprice contacted the manufacturer to try and expedite the delivery which was achieved. All in all excellent customer service who delivered in all aspects, at the best price found.
