Edit, after a few attempts of trying to reach them. I finally spoke to someone who passed my messages on. I then got a reply. They were very helpful and offered a refund, which was processed a day after sending the items back. Even though I didn't get what I thought I was ordering, to habe a hassle free refund goes along way. Thank you.

I ordered 3 wands online, thinking I was ordering official merchandise from the main site. When they arrived, the boxes aren't even close to the wand my daughters bought from the Harry Potter Tour. I assumed I was ordering official merchandise as started online, but not the same at all! And they were more expensive! I have replied to my email order, asking to process a refund. No reply. Have gone on to thier website to email from there, still no reply. Have gone on to their Facebook page and messaged them there. Still no reply.
This is absolutely terrible customer service! I have no idea now how to get them to sort out a refund as definitely misleading and mis-sold a product!

Ordered goods from house of spells, got a confirmation email. First order was placed on Friday 26th December 2025 and another the next day 27th December 2025. I’ve received no dispatch/ shipping email, so I emailed them 5 times and still nothing. Not happy as it’s my 13year olds Christmas money and he chose to spend it here, and I agreed to order what he asked for! This is not what I expected, I’ve never had any problems like this before, even when shopping abroad. I get we are still in the Christmas period but I would expect the company to at least keep me informed/ updated like every other online store I’ve used before has…

I am reaching out again regarding my order #HOS16345, which I placed on 12th April 2025 Australia time. I have received a confirmation email, but I have not yet received any tracking information.

As per the below email, the order gets shipped within 2 business days, however, it’s been more than 2 days , could someone please provide an update on my tracking number?

Fab shop friendly helpful shop full of fab different stuff for young and older persons. Need a few bob as a bit expensive but worth it.

Online shop; Ordered gifts on 1st December and it's now 17th Dec and still nothing. Have emailed asking for a refund, poor communication from them after letting them know a week ago that I hadn't had my order so waited as instructed too but still nothing. REFUND ME MY MONEY PLEASE. Do not shop here.

Can I just say I’ve worked there for a month and it was the worst place I’ve ever worked at. It’s chaotic, prices are made up by managers when customers reach tills. The managers are sexist and horrible.
Now the way they let me go, only cuz I was older than others, which meant they had to pay me more, they let me know by text. I literally text the manager I still haven’t got next week rota, which he replied to quote: ‘ Am sorry, you are no more in Rota for this week.’…. Seriously! I was confused and asked is it only next week or for good and they still replied quote: ‘ I will check tomorrow and get back to you’
… They have no respect for poor tired staff and no dignity. Also they will not give you a contract, it’s all dodgy.
What a disgrace for Harry Potter this place.
I wish people stop going there.

After I accidentally broke my daughter's birthday present, a magic meter, House of Spells sent me a new one with a next day courier, answering emails promptly and being really kind. Brilliant service. The new magic meter arrived in time and my daughter was thrilled. Thank you!

The atmosphere of the store is lovely and the variety of products is great. However beware of being misled.

Whilst in store I happened to see a one ring replica on display on a stand (that I didn't notice said do not touch). It had a nice weighty metal feel to both it and the chain with a lovely luster. The attendant by the jewellery told me it was gold plated and quoted around £40 for it.

Gleefully I headed to the counter and paid for one (this was retrieved from the stock room by an employee and was inside a little box), however upon returning home and opening it I've found both the ring and the chain to be cheap plastic. Turns out with a quick Google search of the product ID that it's a £15 plastic "costume ring" and felt nothing like the display piece, nor was it gold plated.

Whilst I am at fault for impulse buying such an item, I had been led to believe the product I was receiving would be the same as the display piece. So just be aware that whilst there are a lot of lovely items in the store, a lot of which are well made, double check before you buy as the staff will mislead you.

We came to buy a unique gift for a friend. We chose a beautiful book, paid £30, came home and googled it and found it’s £15 on Amazon, £20 at Waterstones etc.. Not a unique gift and we got totally ripped off

I can’t express how amazing the staff are, not only in store but online too. They are welcoming and so helpful, every time I needed something they went above and beyond to help me as much as they could. I highly recommend going if you’re able to. Can’t forget how clean the store is, as well as the joy you feel being in the shop. A true Harry potter fan must see!

One of the best parts of my London trip was stopping at this store 10/10 experience.

The over all aesthetic of the shop was magical! We were doing the Harry Potter Studio tour and included House of Spells in our London trip and it didn't fail to keep the magic of the wizarding world alive. The staff were lovely and attentive. We are all gutted we didn't buy anything at the time and would defiantly visit again. There was even extra surprises put stairs for fans of anything overworldy and a bit geeky.

Amazing quality honeydukes mug and chocolate frog replica! Fast postage, came very well packaged and I was even given a discount code for future use! Reslly pleased can't wait to buy again!

One of the greatest experiences of my life! Really, the best stuff, they always give opportunities to new people to show their job, really close road to the theater of the "Harry Potter and the Cursed Child" theater, and you will never regret a closer look, because it has two floors and the time you spend inside is never enough even to imagine how great and big it may be. Very nice shop, very good people, cool prices, great chances!
