Fantastic, from Ellies incredible patience helping me to get the design right through to the workshops exact drawings and flexibility to the end product including delivery. Plus the added surprise of providing off cuts i can now turn in to shelves. I would absolutely recommend.

Good website service, great delivery tracking experience

The work tops exceeded my expectations. We had the Rustic Oak Full Stave x 5 oiled. It’s absolutely beautiful. I’m completely in love with these work tops.

Needed a small unit top - spoke with customer service who arranged a FedEx for the next day as needed it quick. Only problem was it arrived with 2 damaged corners - FedEx? Luckily the top is being reduced anyway

I ordered 3 full stave deluxe worktops they were knotty, multicoloured and had 60mm wide planks, Terrible quality. I oiled them both sides twice using the Danish oil the website sells. A week later the worktops had cupped like a barrel so I phoned up asking for help and they said it’s my fault I should have used osmo and no replacement. So don’t waste your money buy quality ones off worktop express

Amazing service - ordered on Thursday and delivered on Monday all cut and ready. We ordered samples first and they arrived the next day - definitely worth doing. Wish everything was this easy !

Had the product in a size I couldn't fibe elsewhere. Price good. Delivery excellent. Responded to phone calls. What's not to like?

The ordering and delivery were straight forward and the worktop arrived on time. Unfortunately there were a couple of areas of damage to the edges and small imperfections to the surface. I will hopefully be able to work around this as I'm cutting some off. I would recommend ordering a larger size than needed to accommodate any damage.

Feedback when I had a question was fast and constructive. Easy to navigate website. The online system made it simple to order cuts, corners and bevels on my compact laminate and they even sent me the offcut which I'll no doubt repurpose! Delivery was as promised, punctual and well handled, with a smile.

I ordered samples for a project I am planning. They came in quick time and the quality looks very good undeed.

Ordered cut to size and angle worksurface. Was able to drop in place and biscuit joined myself. Very happy with service.

The samples are really good - far larger than we thought - and they arrived really promptly. The worktops seem to be excellent quality at a good price. We will be ordering when our house move happens.

What is being sent out as samples bears little resemblance to the product ultimately delivered. The sample we received was a 40mm prime oak worktop, and it was on that basis we made our decision to proceed. In reality, what arrived was shorter, thinner, and of noticeably inferior quality. To me, that constitutes a clear misrepresentation of the product.

To their credit, they have answered calls and engaged in discussion. They did eventually agree to send a replacement of suitable quality. However, on the eve of its delivery, even their own customer service representative deemed the replacement substandard and refused to dispatch it.

The result is that, over the course of more than a week, we have still not received what we ordered. They appear unable to supply the product as advertised, costing us valuable time in the installation of our new kitchen.

It is deeply disappointing when you set out to purchase something of quality, only to find the reality falls so far short. I did speak with a company director, who was apologetic, but the fact remains: they continue to market “premium” worktops while, by their own admission, having none of that standard available to supply.

This is not how I expect to be treated as a customer, nor is it how I would ever choose to conduct business. Apologies and explanations do not resolve the issue—they merely delay it.

PS: For further clarification: I bought 40mm x 620mm x 4M (I was offered as replacement and initially delivered) 38mm x 615mm x 4m

-What I bought and paid for wasn't available, distilling this issue to us rejecting 'Character' belittles the object of the complaint, namely it wouldn't fit neatly and was missold!
