I have used HouseTrip twice now after finding it and have had no problems so far! The way the website works with booking and being able to communicate with your host works very well.

We are on a extended family trip exclusively using house trip . First three stops amazing hosts.....exceeded expectations. Stay tuned 4 more to go!

No problems, really good holiday. Easy booking and no issues on arrival. Hotel was as described on the website.

We booked a holiday apartment through this site. On reaching there we found the same apartment , offered at a much cheaper rate on other site (booking.com), 57 pounds against the 90 pounds charged by House trip.

There was this constant drilling sound, all the four days of our stay. Obviously repairs were going on in adjacent apartment, Naturally silence is expected regarding this noise, a retrospective thought.

The night before we left the overhead water heater started leaking. The owner was kind enough to come , however he could not repair and we were left without water the whole night. No apologies, no offer of other arrangements. On top of that we were asked to vacate the next day at Ten AM . Even when we explained that our flight was at 430 and we would vacate around 1200 noon. He did not accept that.
Avoid house trip, there are far better, cheaper and communicative sites.

We have used House Trip three times now in Barcelona, Lisbon and have just returned from Taormina in Sicily and all our holidays have been fantastic.

Great communication throughout the booking. Happy to know I could still contact them on the day of arrival if any problems

We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay for our time in Amsterdam. The host was most helpful and helped us with transportation, suggestions of what not to miss, etc. It was terrific.

A no nonsense easy to use service.

House Trip have supported the communication with the host - by intermediating the translation.
Also they sent reminders for getting in contact with the host | to be prepare for travel| to reinforce possibility of complain within 2 days after arrival
Money have been paid to the host only 2 day after my arrival and only if I had no complain till then.

Easy to book ,good communication between the company the host and us the client, easy to meet your host and check in ,so much better than a hotel an all round enjoyable experience.

HouseTrip has won my trust, with two very successful trips. What has been promised on HouseTrip's pages about the apartment, has been true when seen onsite. The hosts have been available if/when needed. All-in-all, the service hosted by HouseTrip has so far been nothing but excellent.

Housetrip.com was a smooth excellent experience! We rented an apartment in Rome and it was wonderful! Communication with the owner was super. I will definitely use Housetrip for years to come!

It's the first time we used this company and the whole experience was faultless. Timely reminders were sent and when I did have a query, it was answered promptly. I would come back to House Trip.

This is the 3rd time I booked with HouseTrip. It was easy and I had wonderful places. Do your research on the property. Only downside is I had a free night but missed using the voucher because it was not too clear to me when booking . Rang HouseTrip but they said it was too late to use it so I missed out on this.
