A really fantastic experience. I was unsure of what would happen as this was my first ever service. Darcy was welcoming and friendly and is a credit to the company. Any questions I had she was able to answer. The service team were in contact with me and made sure I was completely satisfied with the work done. The video sent to me of the breakdown was brilliant and was very easy to understand. My experience was amazing and I would recommend Howard’s Kia Taunton to anyone when looking for a new car.

We had a really positive experience with Kia in Taunton. From the moment we walked in, we were made to feel welcome and completely at ease—no pressure or hard sell, just a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

Craig Telega, our salesman, was excellent throughout. He was approachable, knowledgeable, and very patient, taking the time to answer all of our questions without ever making us feel rushed. Everything was explained clearly, which really helped us feel confident in our decisions.
We were well looked after too—kept topped up with coffee and biscuits, which was a nice touch. They were also brilliant with our granddaughter, making sure she felt included and even sorting her out with a Ribena, which she loved.
Overall, a smooth, enjoyable, and genuinely welcoming experience. We’d definitely recommend visiting if you’re considering a Kia.

I had a very helpful, informative and pleasant conversation with The Manager at Howards Kia Taunton about a 2 star review concerning 4 days needed to rectify a front sensor problem with my EV6.
It seems that in those 4 days a fault with the wiring loom was discovered, so the whole front bumper was removed and a section of the loom was replaced, and the bumper refixed. Then an additional problem with the Sensors was also discovered. The bumper was then removed again to replace all of the front sensors. If I had realised that scale of work had been done I would never have written the first 2 star review. I now believe that the only real problem was one of poor communication concerning what had to be done to my car.

We have had Kia cars for a number of years and was unsure how things would be when Howards took over the dealership. What can I say, we went to the showroom yesterday and we always see Carl. What a great chap he is, he was very thorough and spent quite a lot of time with us sorting out what was best for us. Highly recommend Carl and Howard's including the service department too.

I like dealing with Howard’s Kia in Taunton. They are efficient, easy to deal with but without that over the top insincere approach you get with some car dealerships, I used to buy Mercedes but nowadays I much prefer to deal with Kia.

Most impressed with the staff. All very courteous. Answered all my questions about all the latest models and in no rush to get me to leave. Nice coffee and refreshments.

If you are considering a new Kia and local to Taunton, head down to Howards Kia on Priorswood Road and ask for Maurice.

I knew I wanted an SUV type vehicle, but to be honest, I had no idea what I was looking for. Before signing on the dotted line, I visited Howards Kia several times and each time, Maurice was the one who acknowledged my presence and asked if I needed any assistance.

I was making the move from Petrol to hybrid and also manual to automatic, so it was reassuring that Maurice was there to help me understand the functions and abilities of the car types. He treated me with patience and I felt that nothing was too much trouble.

There was no hard sell, no pressure and this worked perfectly for me. He listened to my needs and wants and helped me choose a car which really was made for me. He even chose the colour for me (I gave him free choice).

I was sent an email with a video after ordering, to remind me of what I had ordered.

I was signed up for Kia email updates, so I was kept up to date with the progress of my vehicle and Maurice called me to arrange the all important payment and collection info.

I have had the car for 24 hours now and I am thrilled with it.

Everything was perfect from start to finish. Thank you very much Howards Kia and in particular the fabulous Maurice.
