These guys are proper old school, no hassle when viewing, any work needed was carried out without asking, finding that very rare now in the used car market.
Spoke with Greg and he was great from start to finish, we are really impressed with the car.
A few days after buying I spoke with my mechanic about my experience and he repeated, they are spot on in there. I will be going back when its time to change our cars.

My wife had the misfortune of buying a used top of the range 508 SW GT from Howard's Weston-super-Mare at the end of 2025 and from start to finish we have been so very disappointed,nothing has been straight forward from the lack of service provided by the salesman. Several faults that we identified and agreed to be addressed before taking ownership weren't done or were simply bodged. Also, when other issues we raised after the test drive, such as the start/stop not working, we were told "that's normal on these cars, after a long run it will start to work" nonsense, it needs a new battery! The remote boot opening didn't work when you place your foot under the bumper, when the car was returned to have this investigated, we were informed the sensor underneath the car had been damaged (it didn't work when we were shown around the car!) but they would try to get the fix authorised and get back to us, 6 weeks later and surprise surprise they haven't. Absolutely shocking service, over and over again we have been lied to. I feel it's also important to add that 6 months after taking ownership of this car the MOT was due, the car failing due to worn tyres, this was a £19,000 car ! There are loads more issues but I hope I have given you a fair appraisal of the service that we have suffered. Finally, the paint on one of the lower seals is already flaking off.....on a 19 plate car!

Really happy with the staff and service at Howards UCC. I bought a used car from Becky and the customer service was excellent. A few things needed looking at and they were sorted out swiftly and to a great standard. I was able to use a courtesy car which was electric and automatic, two things I had not experienced before. Lauren at the service centre came with me whilst I got a feel for the car and was helpful and made me feel at ease. I would certainly recommend Howards UCC if you are looking gor a used car and great service

Good afternoon.
I am writing to describe my recent experience I had of one of your employees whilst visiting Howards group Peugeot Dorchester.
My Peugeot 3008 hybrid GT line failed back in February when the battery had gone flat and after a few visits from the AA I was told this was a door locking sensor issue, and unfortunately the vehicle was taken into storage for almost four months.
I understand there was an issue with manufacturing parts for this particular fault.
I was supplied supplied with a hire vehicle from Mobiility as this vehicle is supplied through your mobility program as I am disabled and have severe mobility issues from an explosion in Afghanistan whilst in the military.
My experience of Peugeot up to this point if I'm particularly honest had not been great, as I had previously contacted Yeovil who told me they were too busy to fix it and to seek another branch, and when I asked for the contact details of the of another local branch, I got told to go Google it!
I did that, and then booked it in at Dorchester, after sometime was contacted by the service manager Josh brain, and to be fair from the off Josh was very honest and very apologetic about the length of time the vehicle had been with Peugeot, he was eloquent, extremely polite, very helpful and informative, his line of communication was exceptional and he regularly updated me on the progress of the repair.
On collection he had the vehicle cleaned and valeted and also booked a service via the mobility program which he personally collected and returned.
He is a credit to Howards and Peugeot and I have no qualms in recommending Howard's Peugeot to my friends due to his exceptional customer service and professionalism.
He is an absolute credit to your company.

In March, I bought a new Citroen C3 from Howards at WSM from Kian Edwards. I just wanted to say a huge thank you to both Kian and all the Citroen staff who have looked after me. If you have a Peugeot and you have any issues please use this garage as they are so helpful . I had an issue with my indicator and yes it took a while to recieve the part but that was not the garages fault. On the day they supplied me with a hire car and it was fixed promtly and effiently . Sean was so helpful and his customer service was excellent

We would of given a 5 star review but unfortunately the car was sold without a working air con on one of the hottest weeks ! Very unhappy. Took the car back to fix and had a curtesy car sorted by very friendly nice guy. But important checks couldn't of been made !!!

The salesamn (Sam) was very good when I bought the one year old car. After 2 months it developed a gearbox problem. Howards has now had my 15 month old Peugeot 2008 Hybrid for 5 weeks waiting for a replacement gearbox, and this is after only 12000 miles. Howards have been very supportive and have supplied a courtesy car but the battle is with Peugeot HQ who seem unable to find a new gearbox anywhere in Europe. Not good enough.

Had a fantastic experience at Toyota Weston-super-Mare last Friday thanks to Richard Sparrow. I’m a driving instructor and desperately needed a tyre sorted with practical tests coming up this week. After trying several other garages with no luck, Richard was incredibly understanding and empathetic.
He checked stock immediately, got me booked in right away, and the mechanic sorted the tyre out super fast. Richard even arranged a kind discount since I'd only just bought a new tyre a few weeks ago. Outstanding service that kept my business running—thank you so much, Richard!
