Bought an HP printer - couldn't set up in my Network - it kept crashing. Contacted support 10+ times within several months. Every day new person tells me to do same stupid things again and again, I've... See more

Their app is awful and doesn't work!!!
Their app is awful and doesn't work!!!! Spent hours trying to set up my printer!!! Customer support is non-existent.
I ordered a laptop on March 21
I ordered a laptop on March 21, 2026. They told me delivery would be between April 6-10 2026. Now, they're telling me delivery will be between April 21-24 2026. This puts me in a bind, as I need the laptop for work. But, I shouldn't be surprised, this isn't the first time they have done this to me, also thousands of others I'm sure. But, this will never happen again.
Bought HP Envy 6520e printer
Bought HP Envy 6520e printer, absolute RUBBISH, cannot register it, computer will not find it (and it's an HP computer), tried to contact support, complete waste of time. DO NOT BUY HP PRODUCTS. NO SUPPORT.
Customer Support and App is below 0 stars
I loved my first printer I bought over 10 Years ago. So of course I bought a new one from HP in Oct. 2024. It did not have double sided scanning like I thought I had picked. It was outside of the return window so I went oh well. In order to function the printer also needs to be constantly reset--turned off then on again. Then this year the "App" for the printer and scanning changed. The screen of the app to do anything starts with trying to sell you something, once you get past that then you find the functions. When scanning multiple pages the preview is microscopic so you cannot really see anything on the page even though there is a lot of "gray space" around the preview to enlarge the picture. I then went to the website to see if there was any fix to this. The only thing I got was the AI chat that couldn't understand what I was asking. When I looked for another option what I found was my printer is out of warranty so I needed to pay $75 to get any further help. P.S. this is NOT an April Fool's joke!!!
You sure misrepresented the copy…
You sure misrepresented the copy machine. You said all you have to do is plug it in and copy. I didn’t think I would have to enter information on my iPad for it to work. I am really unhappy about how you lied. i got rid of my Cannon because it had a switch needing replacing and I had to go through all the crap of entering info onto iPad. You should be turned over to the better business bureau for false advertising.
I purchased an HP home printer
I purchased an HP home printer, but within a short time it stopped working properly. I have tried to contact customer support multiple times and also registered a complaint, but there has been no proper response. The service support is very disappointing and unprofessional.
I expected better quality and reliable after-sales service from a big brand like HP, but my issue is still not resolved. No proper guidance or technician support was provided.
Very poor customer service experience. I would not recommend HP products if they cannot provide proper service support after purchase.
PATHETIC CUSTOMER SERVICE
I have tried on many many occasions to contact HEWLETT PACKARD to try and discuss an issue about my HP DESKJET WiFi connection. It is impossible to speak Tto or with a representative. their site continually divert you to a vertical assistant where it proves impossible to answer the problem I have. Why is there NO SUPPURT from anyone who can actually speak to me. Absolutely useless, I will most certainly will be get rid of their product and switching to a different supplier. Absolutely disgusted.

I’ve never seen a company so committed to frustrating its own customers.
- HP printers NEVER work properly
- The ink pricing is ridiculous
- Support is inaccessible unless you pay extra.
At some point, this stops being bad design and starts feeling like a trap.
Not as green as they’d like to portray
I have tried to order envelopes to recycle my ink cartridges several times with nothing arriving. I then tried to contact HP to ask about it. I received a rather short and snippy email from them asking what I had ordered. I replied but then heard nothing back.
Shocking customer service. Don’t advertise on your boxes that we can send our cartridges back for recycle when you won’t even send the envelopes to do so. With the world in the state it’s in you’d think you’d be all for being a greener company, yet it looks like it’s just smoke and mirrors.
I had a wonderful experience with HP…
I had a wonderful experience with HP when a package that I ordered was not delivered. I called their customer service and was promptly helped with my order. Every online company out there should take notes on how to treat a customer. The lady on the phone looked at the FedEx photograph and confirmed my order had not been delivered. She said, "the picture of those boxes is not one of ours." She gave me a refund, and I placed another order which did arrive. I will shop HP in the future because I can trust HP to do the right thing. They value their customers.
They reject complaints
Utterly useless. They say that they actually reject complaints! Ignoring them completely if they don't want to deal with it.
Not remotely surprising the rating is so low.
Have an issue with faulty laptop, after calling them 4 times over a 2 week period I finally arranged for a warranty repair. When it came back it was even worse than before.
Contacted again to raise a complaint. Was told my case woud be escalated and someone woud get back to me. No response. Call again told the same thing. No response. Called again. Same.
Avoid Hp at all costs.
terrible company with no real customer…
Terrible company with no real customer support. do not buy from them and NEVER sign up for ink delivery! If they feel there is even a small problem with your account they disable your printer, and customer service is impossible to reach.
I have this problem and it's a nightmare trying to get help. Still can't use my printer!!
HP + Instant Ink: Assistenza gentile ma incompetente e servizio Instant Ink imbarazzante/ A bureaucratic nightmare and a complete scam
Pessimi.
I’m giving one star only because zero isn’t an option. My experience with HP over the last two years has been a disaster of bureaucracy and inefficiency.
• The Instant Ink Paradox: I pay a monthly subscription based on pages printed, yet I haven't received a single ink cartridge in two years. The irony? My bills keep getting higher because my page count has increased, but I'm left with no ink to actually print them. What is the point of paying for a page-based plan if the service fails to provide the basic tool—the ink?
• Broken Remote Printing: Remote printing has been down for two months. Their excuse? A "general system issue." It is unacceptable that after 60 days there is still no solution or even a timeline for a fix.
• Useless Support: The customer service staff are "polite" but completely incompetent. They seem trained only to bounce customers from one department to another without ever resolving the underlying issue.
A company of this size should be ashamed of such poor management. Stay away from Instant Ink: it’s a system designed to bill you consistently while failing to deliver the actual service. Absolutely pathetic.
Technical Support second to none
I was having difficulty (have done since purchasing) in scanning from printer to PC (I could scan from desktop fine). Since I have 3 years business support warranty, I contacted HP (via online submission). Astonishingly, less than an hour later, HP phoned me. Tech support remote connected to my PC. The issue proved quite problematic, but Mohammed (who, before you ask - understandably - spoke clear and perfect English), worked through things, systematically and methodically. The issue proved quite challenging indeed, but cheerfully, M stuck with it. An hour and a half later, all sorted, perfect. I chose HP for my my main network printer for a reason, and this just proves I was right. Same reason all our PCs are Dell.
Terrible Printer
I also made the mistake of buying an HP printer. It has been a technical shambles and the ink situation is as described by others.
We all know that printers are a loos leader to lock you into cartridge sales, but HP steps it up a level.
Will not buy from them again.
If their general products and support are as bad as their M&A due diligence then they are done as a company. I’ll just leave them to harass grieving widows.
NEVER BUY HP…BIG NO TO HP
NEVER BUY HP…. BIG NO TO HP
I bought Hp ELITEBOOK around 6 to 8 months ago and it’s stopped working. I tried for warranty but no support from HP at all.
Never buy Hp stay away from it.
HP customer service is how it turns out…
HP customer service is how it turns out when a company does not want to have customer service. They feel obligated to do so and so they come up with the most half assed experience they can.
I canceled my HP instant ink…
I canceled my HP instant ink subscription and money hungry hp decide to charge me for another month. I do not have the printer nor the ink, but when I tried to get my money back the representative talked to me like I was stupid. I will never buy HP again.
A big con
I was buying ink through an instant ink subscription. I had a couple of cartridges left over after I cancelled the subscription as it is poor value for money. Only when I went to install them did I find out they no longer work after you have cancelled your subscription. So essentially, HP won’t let you use products you have bought unless you’re tied to buying more products in the future. Really disappointed and would strongly advise people avoid instant ink.
I am extremely disappointed in HP’s…
I am extremely disappointed in HP’s business practices regarding the DeskJet 4100 series. After canceling an Instant Ink subscription, the printer has become completely non-functional. Despite the printer being connected to my local network with excellent signal strength, HP's software has triggered an 'Offline' status and claims 'no internet connection,' effectively blocking me from using the device I paid for.
It is predatory to design hardware that requires a constant 'handshake' with a corporate server just to function with standard ink. I will not be purchasing HP products again and strongly advise others to look for brands that respect consumer ownership rights.
