From Amanda’s helpful advice in the Newcastle store to the delivery team who carefully assembled the furniture everything was most professional. We are delighted with our new furniture and would definitely recommend HSL.

Amanda was friendly,professional and knowledgeable about your products. She helped me identify the correct seating to suit my individual needs.
She is a valuable asset to the company.

Lady in shop was really helpful and professional, we went away and came back on the Monday and did the order. Company kept us informed and the two lads phoned before delivering the chairs and sofa, Craig and Danny couldn't do enough and were pleasant, careful and helpful. Really, really happy with the experience and just love the chairs and sofa xx

My mother ordered a chair from this company, waited 6 weeks for delivery, but when it arrived it didn’t have the heat pad in back which she had paid extra for, she then had to wait 7 weeks for a replacement.
She always thought the cushions on the chair were not padded as the one in the showroom and eventually rang to complain.
A guy arrived 7.20am and added the correct padding which is now like the chair she tested in their showroom.
Considering the chair cost nearly 2k, their quality control is clearly inadequate.
Personally I would avoid this company.

Delivery expected 0840-1140, arrived 0841 after a progress call. Delivery guys efficient, friendly and caring. Chairs assembled and demonstrated by 0855 and they were off. Great service. Chairs are every bit as good as we had hoped. A pleasurable and comfortable process from start till falling asleep in them after lunch!! Thank you HSL.

I took my my mam to the Newcastle store as she needed a bed because of hip mobility and arthritis.
We were met by Emma who couldn't have been more helpful and informative, she explained everything in detail of what exactly my mam needed and demonstrated how the bed works.
Emma was never pushy or trying to make us purchase the most expensive as my mam was on a budget, she was super friendly and did not try to use the usual pushy sale tactics which are off putting.
She is a credit to HSL and we both left the shop happy after purchasing exactly what my mam needed.

Absolutely spot on service from beginning to end. Great advice on chair options, making sure that it was a suitable choice, through to advice on fabric, purchase and delivery. Tim at Newcastle was extremely helpful and patient. Would highly recommend

Professional service throughout. The sales team were polite and extremely knowledgeable and explained everything.

They took the time to allow me to test as many different styles as I needed to find the right one for me. They advised me about leg length and seat fitting and demonstrated the range of recliners and functions to help me decide. When it came to which fabric to choose there were several pattern books to look at.
I spent almost an hour getting it right for me and reaching a reasonable price.

Great experience in your Blaydon store from start to finish. Suzanne was very friendly and knowledgeable and certainly not put under any pressure to buy anything. My mam can’t wait for her new chair to arrive. Thank you.

My mother in law wanted 2 new chairs (1 riser recliner & 1 static) for her lounge, as soon as we entered the Blaydon store, we were greeted by a lovely lady named Amanda who went above & beyond with her help & expertise, she explained everything thoroughly which chairs would suit my mother in law, showed her how to use the controls, & the choice of fabric & colour, we were offered a hot drink & biscuit whilst looking at fabrics..
Could not fault anything from start to finish regarding our experience with the lovely lady Amanda..

Good company to deal with from viewing in store to delivery. CARL andLEE who delivered very helpful and and pleasant nice lads.

Staff all round were brilliant from showroom to the 2 gents who delivered the suite. Patient, no pressure service, great communication with delivery and couldnt fault the service. Chairs are excellent also and recliner, heat and lumbar massager are well worth paying the extra. Well done 10/10

Craig and Danny made a perfect delivery of my chair into my home setting it up and explaining everything to me. They were very pleasant and made me feel at ease.

Staff knowledge was excellent. They were patient and extremely helpful in explaining instructions about the different types of recliners available. They were sensitive to individuals needs and preferences. They gave time forcouples to have discussions alone but on hand to suggest or advise. Polite competent and did not rush or put pressure on us to make rushed decisions. A pleasant helpful experience.

Bought a recliner chair from HSL at Newcastle upon Tyne. We were made very welcome but Alison and the rest of the staff, who were very knowledgeable and helpful and guided us through the many choices to make sure our Stressless chair was exactly suited to our requirements. It just arrived today, delivered with care by Ian and Paul, and it’s exactly what we were wanting. Very pleased!

Staff in store listened to what I required not what they were pushing, kept informed about order and delivery.Chris and Tom the delivery men were helpful and careful with the delivery,would recommend for service.
