The reason I rate it 5 stars is because the English version for the explanation video is a great way to guide and help other English speakers like me who have trouble understanding the Dutch instructions. Why? Because with the English subtitles it makes it more clear for us to know exactly what we need to know so in case of a situation we know how we should handle it and in what way. I appreciate what they have done to make it possible for me to understand and learn everything because of that I passed the exam. Thanks for everything

The training is above all my expectations, I learned a lot and it was very interesting and very also entertaining ! Gabriëlla Café the trainer not only has a wealth of knowledge, but she has a charisma and sense of humor that keeps you captivated during the training. Also great production and love the bloops on the beginning of the videos, very nice touch ! Highly recommended.

The video training was very helpful for the exam. It was like an extension for the textbook providing tips and guidance for the exam.

I completed the online self-paced course with English subtitled videos. This was really helpful in combination with the Code of Hygiene, also in English.
I found their customer service to be outstanding, as they are quick to act if you experience problems.

I've done online social responsibility course. Videos contain a lot of information and are presented by Gabriella in clear and funny way, included real life example, what helps you understand it better. Contact with HSN was also really good. When I had some questions, they replied within few hours. I received also textbook in English to study before my exam.
For me online course was better option, because I could study when I had time and combine it with work.

Really a very well explained course, Gabriella's videos are clear and concise, a great help and a great support, I could not have passed the test without her help. A well deserved 5 stars

Very modern, efficient, pleasant approach

The teacher is very enthusiastic all the time and it makes the course more fun! And the summary of each video basically covers all the key points of the textbook.

It has been worth spending a bit of extra money to get the SVH exam first time right.

The video training was not in English. It was a Dutch video with English subtitles. Having to read English subtitles, look at body language and read sidenotes at the same time is not conducive for quick study. The video content was however, broken down into managebale segments. Luckily I understand Dutch well and was able to ignore the subtitles which great effort.

If I ordered a Dutch video training this review would have had way more stars.

Fijn om videotraining te kunnen volgen en zeker zo’n leuke training, waarin alles goed en duidelijk (met net precies het juiste snufje humor) wordt uitgelegd! Bij problemen kun je HSN altijd bellen of mailen, ze helpen je! Fijne persoonlijke noot en serieus goed opleidingsinstituut!

Good to do this videotraining for the HACCP- Health certificate! Your host is clear in explanation, with a sense of humour she tells you all you need to know about HACCP-standards and real-life examples. Whenever a problem occurs, call HSN and they will help you! Personal attention and seriously good institute to get your papers and skills for work in a bar/restaurant/hotel!

Watching the videos was very useful, entertaining, and easy to digest all of the info contained in the course. I am happy that I took the course online, as I was able to pause it, or take more videos at once during my free time, and take it with me at home or on-the-go. The videos are short, on point and easy to digest. They contain exactly what you are supposed to learn, and there's no 'noise' to skip, or get bored until the next one!

Although I am not a native Dutch speaker, watching the videos gave me a clear look into the courses content. Gabriella's storytelling and the exemplifying sketches made it very understandable. Plus, I had the book in English to support my learning process after absorbing the main ideas from the videos.
I loved it that some videos had a couple of words in them which came very handy to confirm the ideas expressed. However, as a foreigner and a visual learner, I would have loved having subtitles -even if it were in Dutch. Although most of the videos come with a short briefing or debriefing on what you will see or learn on each video, I wished to have such subtitles as an extra confirmation of I was listening to and learning. Other than that, they were perfectly clear with casual language making it easy to digest!

Another bonus was to be able to define my exam date from the beginning so that I could make my mind and dedicate enough time for prepping. I took two months at a very very comfortable pace, whilst joggling a 30-hrs job week and dedicating the last week to doing lots of practice exams.

Lastly, the interface friendliness was delightful! I was able to watch the videos and follow the practice exams in my laptop and phone without distorting the image quality of the page size or layout. It would adjust perfectly to the screen size.

All in all, it was great taking this course online and given the time being. I mean, it feels great to accomplish something while being confined at home, don't you think?

A great way of learning in corona times.

De video training was interessant en leerzaam. Enthousiaste presentatrice! Ook de evaluatie was erg leuk!

The training book bored me to tears and I found the English version far too formal and hard to read, but the video course saved my ass! My Dutch understanding is great, but reading is terrible so I found Gabrielle Cafe the perfect teacher. Thank you! If it wasn't for the video training I would not have passed.
