This company is a fraud!!!!

This company will not deliver on purchases. I spent over $2000 on glass, infrared camera, and other accessories August 25, 2022. The website said to expect delivery by the end of October. Nothing arrived. In mid-November 2022 I sent an email asking when I could expect delivery. I got back a long email about how Hudway was a startup company (even though it first appeared sometime in the early 2010s) and how they could only place orders with manufacturers once they had sufficient volume for an order. I was also told to expect my order at the end of Quarter 1, 2023 (this would be March 31, 2023). Nothing arrived. On April 5, 2023 I emailed again. The response was almost identical to the one in November, but this time I was being told the order wouldn't arrive until the end of Quarter 3 (September 2023). Same sob story about being a start-up; the new twist was that manufacturers had gone bankrupt and Hudway had to find a new manufacturer. When I asked for a refund, I was told by "Maria": "yes" but they "could only process a few refunds each week" and there were "about 300 refunds ahead of yours." Like others, I contacted my bank and initiated a fraud claim through my credit card. After almost two months I received confirmation my claim had been approved. Hudway is now a scam site; it may have shipped products at some point shortly after it was created, this is not the case now. Buyer beware!

Warning - Do not buy from Hudway

The same as everyone else. Ordered in 2022 delivery delayed until late 2023 so order cancelled. Requested refund and nothing forthcoming after three months. Asked bank to initiate chargeback to reclaim funds and they get nowhere. This company is unethical and just ignore you. Do not buy Hudway, they do not deserve your business. I note their response but the reality is that they never refunded any money despite providing ‘additional’ information. My bank took the loss and refunded me. My opinion of this company hasn’t changed. You pay for their products upfront and take a risk, their lead times remain horrendous.

I paid for one of these some time ago…

I paid for one of these some time ago (back in 2020 I think it was, from a 3rd party) and was sent a piece of plastic with a glass screen (one you put you phone on) even though it was listed as a Hudway Drive, I only paid about $50AU but didn't get my money back. Why and how do these scammers still exist? They should be bought to justice and penalized accordingly. Paypal are useless at refunding from a scammer. If something seems to good to be true, then it probably is. Shame on Hudway for scamming so many people and not following through with what could have been an awesome product.

This Company is Rubbish

This Company is Rubbish, full of False Promises.
Purchased the Hudway Drive 3 years ago and stil nothing has ever turned up. Numerous communication with their support team and Numerous misleading and false delivery dates and excuses.

Ordered May 2021 and still not received…

Ordered May 2021 and still not received the unit, like others excuse after excuse, asked for refund and same story only a few refunds per week, I think they should be reported to the pay paltforms they use, I paid through PayPal which is not an option anymore, I think they now use Gpay , steer clear 100% scammers.

Like most

Like most, I too had ordered from this Company! I placed my order back in February hoping it would arrive in May like they had posted on their website! When it didn’t arrive I emailed customer service and was told the same story they changed parts and found are not there just a bunch of you know… well anyway I decided to cancel my order for 2 heads up displays and the camera set. When I ask when I could expect my money back, I was told only a few refunds are done per week!!

Same experience as others…

Same experience as other customers here. Ordered hudway in November 2021. No follow up from customer services but just one excuse after another when I ask for updates. Asked for a refund in May 2022. Got some story about Korean partners going bust. Don’t care - just want my money back. They were quick enough to take it when they obviously can’t supply the product

Horrible experience DO NOT BUY!!!!

It’s been over a year and I still have not received my product I ordered every time I contact support they keep saying next month in all honesty please do not order from them they are never actually gonna get this product into production and customer support is also very limited with them taking 3-4 days to respond

Beware of scammers called Hudway

I've pre-ordered the hudway glass in March 2019, I've been waiting for almost a year for that item to be delivered. After various pushbacks and delays I've decided to ask for a refund in May 2020, it's been 2 years and I still haven't received my money back or the product itself.
Don't waste your hard worked money on something that you will never see.
I wonder how these kind of companies still exists in 2022?

Terrible customer support

Terrible customer support - product was delivered after 2 years (yup you heard me right - Hudway Drive that was pre-ordered took two years to come!)
It was Dead On Arrival - the customer support then refused to send a replacement, asked for the Drive back from India, arranged for a 'free' pickup which actually was going to cost USD 100,
I complained to BBB and wrote at least 10 times to customer support - they said they were very BUSY!
Finally, a refund was processed...
They need to learn from "Blendjet" how to treat International customers!

Ordered a Hudway Drive in May 2020.

Ordered a Hudway Drive in May 2020.
The company and the product have been a long time coming and today we have not got it yet.

There have been many apologies and many postponements, on 12 February we then received an email and only the orders from before 13 February will be delivered and the others (mine) will hopefully be delivered this summer.

Have had enough of excuses and that it is the fault of their subcontractors, have dated asked for the money back.

It's in my eyes a sh***y company of character.
