Shocking Customer Service at Brighton Store

My husband recently visited the Brighton Hugo Boss store to return some clothing he had purchased as a gift. The items were unworn (one briefly tried on), still in their original packaging with labels attached, and brought back within 7 days.

Shockingly, the store manager refused the return, accusing him of returning clothes that “smelt musty” and “looked washed” — which was simply untrue. He was publicly embarrassed by being asked to compare items by smell in front of other customers, and was ultimately threatened with security and told he was trespassing — despite remaining calm and polite throughout.

He later went to a Hugo Boss store in London, where staff refunded the same items immediately, no questions asked.

The contrast in service was staggering. The Brighton store’s treatment was hostile, humiliating, and completely at odds with what one would expect from a premium brand. Very disappointing experience.

Hugo Boss poor quality, stunk in one wash.

The quality of Hugo Boss clothing has plundered. A New wollen shirt shrank considerably after just one wash on a cold wool setting hundreds of pounds wasted. New tracksuit bottoms not comfortable and quality of material feels cheap. Nothing like the ones I bought in the past. Very disappointed and left losing out on a lot of money.

Have lots of hugo boss clothing & trainers for years .Last couple of years two full Italian quality woolen jumpers have suddenly shrunk considerably !!
Same washing machine, same cycle!!
Very strange, expensive experience
Have seen this on a few reviews recently
Are they worth the price ???
Had lots of compliments from others on style, design, etc but getting anxious on washing hugo boss clothing
Starting to doubt the quality!!

Appalling customer service from the…

Appalling customer service from the Cheshire oaks store . Made a special trip yesterday only to go to the Hugo Boss store after checking and the page saying that it was dog friendly. Only to find when we got there we were refused entry. Was for my husbands birthday presents so he had to walk around the store on his own . Staff unhelpful even though it was pointed out website stated dogs allowed. Won’t be visiting it again

Disappointed with my BOSS Watch purchase

i bought a Boss watch online from Hugo Boss store and it arrived by courier with no warranty card and when i contacted customer service they said there in nothing they can do and not able to send me a warranty card and instead sent me an email saying warranty is 2 for years. Not sure if this is enough and will this arrangement work in the future. also the watch manual was missing from the box. very disappointed.

Excellent service

Felt compelled to write this review as read all the previous reviews and was concerned of what service I’d receive. Pleased to say the service was impeccable and it’s only fair that this message is conveyed to all.

Ordered online on the BOSS UK website. Pair of blue leather “Randy” shoes.

1. No issues ordering online
2. Received confirmation email.
3. Customer service responded to email query and phone query efficiently
4. Order dispatched quickly and delivered quickly

Overall fantastic customer service and can only praise the service I received.

Ashford store manager!

Hi went to your ashford store on the 30th, I was debating whether to send this review or not at first. But here it is. I have to say your manager (well I think she was any way, an asian lady with blonde hair I think ) she needs some serious training on how to talk to her team. I can only assume it was her due to the fact she was telling member of her team off in front of customers which I felt was unprofessional and embarrassing. If I was embarrassed for this lady, your team member must have been mortified. I felt so sorry for this lady to having to put up with such an awful manager or who ever she was. It was the way she was speaking to this member. And working for a brand like yours too?? I’m really surprised you have any staff there at all with her attitude!
I hate to put reviews like this, but this really deserves one if you are to improve.
Please have a word with her and train her or ………!

Appalling service

Present for my son, £ 99. Order number 108882420. Signed up to Hugo boss, downloaded the app so I could get 10%discount for new customers. The code they sent me did not work. So I spoke to Richard via text.He checked a few things then said it's only for orders over £100. He then promptly ended the chat no goodbyes no pleasantries just cut off.
I then preceded to buy the gift.
It said it would be delivered on the 4th December. My sons birthday the 6th.. However it did not turn up via Ups . Checked Ups it then said the 5th it didn't turn up. Checked again it then said the 6th , didn't turned up. It will not arrive over the weekend either as its not a business day.
Absolutely appalling service.Will not order anything from them again. It's pays to be nice, keep promises and provide regular updates. You would think better of a well know retailer.

Wont ever buy from boss again bought…

Wont ever buy from boss again bought several pairs of jeans at £119 each and with in months they ripped under the leg.After sending pics n bank statements have said they were bought else where!! Stay well aware from these cowboys customer service is zero.

Bought a polo shirt from Frasers(paddy…

Bought a polo shirt from Frasers(paddy polo) and wore it once and washed it by hand and it has srunk.
Took back to Frasers today and was told couldnt exchange it ,
I would except this from a 90.00 polo shirt

Very disappointed in Boss

Whether I have shopped in store

Whether I have shopped in store, at their outlet or online, the service and quality of the clothing is first class…
Now I have purchased various items of menswear in store I know their sizing, so more convenient to shop online. The shipping and returns process is so easy and efficient. Not that I return many items as they are all so gorgeous. My favourite menswear brand by far for design and quality! Highly recommend

Worst online shopping experience…

Worst online shopping experience ever!!!
First, my parcel wasn't delivered on time. Then I received an email from HB with a wrong collection point so I wasted several hours going there just to be told they don't have my parcel.
And finally, when I found the right one throguh customer service, the shop keeper refused to give me the parcel as his mobile app hangs!

Buying Experience Online and in Store

I was trying to buy a polo shirt on the website. It was run out. The website recommended to contact the nearest store and I did.
I call them 3 times and no one answered my call
Then I contacted them via mail but once again they did not reply my email.

It's very frustrating and disappointing
The website want to give you the idea that they are supportive and helpful, The truth is no one cares you want to buy something from them.

I am quite disappointed by the very poor quality of the materials used to produce the pair of boots I bought (about) a week ago. Now, to be fair, the design itself is excellent, as is the build quality and attention to aesthetic detail. However, the boots are uncomfortable to wear due to a poor quality of design which appears not to
take account of the fact that clothes are not just to be looked at but also need to meet the practical needs of the wearer. Additionally I simply don't think these boots will last long and they are uncomfortable.
I have a pair of thirty year old
Crockett and Jones boots for example, which I wore today. These are still in very good condition and still look beautiful, compared with which Hugo Boss boots are no match whatsoever.

Bad experience with Hugo Boss Regent Street

Had a very bad experience with a purchase as small as socks in Hugo Boss Regent Street. When I got home, I saw that the socks had a hole in them most likely from removing the alarm. I went to return them today and the store supervisor Cesar seemed rude and unprofessional. He refused to provide me with a paper trail for my complaint, didn't give me an email where I can write a complaint, and only gave me a generic phone number.

Good versus bad!

I spent just over £200 in the Milton Keynes Boss store on 25th June, the staff were incredibly helpful and polite, made me feel important to be honest. One of my purchases was a t-shirt for my husband, wasn't sure if it might be a little small, I was reassured there would be no problem in returning it or getting it exchanged. Six days later, I went to return the item to the Regent Street store and they couldn't have been more different to the Milton Keynes staff. I was told that the shirt could only be exchanged and not refunded as it was a discounted item, the sales assistant was adamant about their policy. I was already buying another shirt, but there was still a £34 shortfall that she refused to refund, stating I had to use that money for an exchange. Eventually, after I was starting to get quite frustrated, she said she would do the refund!
I totally understand that shops have policies, but this was not written on the receipt and I had not been told this rule in Milton Keynes. Most shops have a shorter return period for discounted items, so they can resell, which I understand. But I find it quite unbelievable in a reputable, expensive shop that they would have this rule. I have been totally put off by this experience and will think twice before buying an item without the person there to try it on in the future. The whole experience was embarrasing and unnecessary and I genuinely felt 'looked down' on by the Regent Street staff.
