fast support porting a number from other provider and the mobile app is super user friendly

I bumped up against Hush's TOS and it took some effort on everyone's part to straighten it out, but their service department is exceptional. I recommend them 100%! And the service itself is clear and reliable. (Oh, and some time ago I had a technical glitch which their IT specialists solved without a hitch.)

Like all this one is no different. Total scam. Stay away. Don't be stupid.

I got my account blocked without any reason or violation. I purchased the package with unlimited calls and texts but I couldn't even send just 2 or 3 messages as I tried to test it on my other number (I never received them).

The service is misleading and doesnt answer all questions before you sign up and then they simply block you. HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED!!!!

This is a Canadian company out of Ottawa and does not offer services in Canadian dollars - just USD! I may give it a try if ever they use Canadian dollars. However, the reviews are not too flattering.

I signed up for a Hushed number and subscription less than a week ago. Within a day or two, the service stopped working — I couldn’t make or receive calls or texts. I had barely used the number, not even 10 calls total.

When I contacted customer support, they said there was a "violation," but refused to explain what I had supposedly done wrong. They just told me to “go read the terms and conditions.” Then, without any warning, my account was deleted, and I can no longer log in.

This is unacceptable. They took my money for a service I can’t even use, gave no clear reason, and offered no solution. This kind of behavior shows a serious lack of transparency and raises major trust concerns.

The customer support at Hushed is really great. 5/5! They are attentive, responsive, and very eager to find solutions.

The app itself is very useful however, it doesn’t receive confirmation text from banks which I was hoping it would. That’s not a limitation of hushed. It’s a limitation of VOIP phone services.

I used Hushed for over three months with no issues, but suddenly all of my phone numbers were suspended without any reason, explanation, or warning. No email, no notification — just shut off.

What’s worse? They’re still charging my card for those suspended numbers. I’m paying for a service I can’t even use, and I have no idea why this happened.

I haven’t contacted support yet, but honestly, this kind of silent suspension is unacceptable. If they can turn everything off without notice, how can anyone trust this service for important communication?

Avoid Hushed. It’s unreliable, and they’ll take your money even when they cut off your access.

I’ve been using Hushed for quite a while now, but my recent experience has left me extremely frustrated and disappointed. My account was suddenly suspended due to "outbound policy violations," which is something I find completely confusing, as I haven’t done anything that would violate any of Hushed's terms.

To provide some context, I have six numbers on my account—three UK and three Canadian numbers—and the only activity I’ve engaged in is texting myself occasionally to keep the numbers active. I have not made any calls or sent texts to anyone outside of my own set of numbers. Everything I’ve done has been personal and within what I understood to be acceptable usage.

When I reached out to live support, I was told that my account had been flagged for these violations, but no clear explanation was provided as to what I actually did wrong. It feels like there’s been a mistake, as I can’t see any way that I could have violated the policies with the activities I’ve been doing. I’m still waiting for a proper response from their support team, but so far, the lack of clarity is incredibly frustrating.

If you’re considering Hushed, be cautious. While the service itself is generally decent, their handling of issues like this is far from ideal. The lack of transparency, poor communication, and unclear reasons for account suspensions make me question how reliable this service really is. If you value your account stability and need clear answers from customer support, you might want to think twice.

I hope my account can be reinstated soon, but at this point, it feels like I’m being penalized for something I didn’t even do.

I've been a loyal Hushed customer for several years now, and I can't recommend their service highly enough. From day one, Hushed has delivered exactly what I needed - reliable, flexible, and incredibly convenient phone service. Practically a fraud. I got a number and immediately tried to use it to receive SMS. I got a response the number is not a valid US number. I contacted their support and I was informed that most of their numbers won't work on third party apps. How the hell are you marketing such numbers? I just bought a number that is practically useless.

I can tell you for free you have the worst customer service i've ever come across. The way you dismissed the query without showing any concern when i had a chat with your agent is appalling.

By the way, i had to buy a new virtual line with Número after you dismissed my complaints. It also did not work initially. They assigned an agent with me and we tried three other numbers until it worked. They showed genuine interest at resolution.

The customer support and service I recieved to import my number into Hushed services was kind, timely, and helpful. I am very happy with the service.

What a great service this company offers. Not only is their support sensational promptly replying to all requests by chat and email but I was surprised how great the quality of their phone service is.

Affordable, quality service, great support. No complaints at all.

Don't waste your money, I'ts a scam

They just blocked my account for no reason, I'm trying to reach support for 2 days now, I still have money on my account, don't trust this company, don't deposit a lot of money, chasing their discounts, they get your account locked and will keep your money!

such a amazing app, can making calls and send/receive sms on app. easy to use. with a flexiable and low fee schdule.

So, I ported my Skype # over to hushed. Their service in performing the port was good. Good followup communication from them. So far, the service has been good . I like the ability to have unlimited sms/MMS messages as well. App may need some work or me just getting used to it.
